Look about...

This is what the Lord says: “Stop at the crossroads and look around. Ask for the old, godly way, and walk in it. Travel its path, and you will find rest for your souls.“ ‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭6:16 (‭NLT) I am ever-watching over you. Cast aside the fear which cloaks around you. Learn my ways. My names will demonstrate my ways of love for you. I will show you what you have yet to learn.

what the Lord says...

This is what the Lord says: “Stop at the crossroads and look around. Ask for the old, godly way, and walk in it. Travel its path, and you will find rest for your souls. Jeremiah 6:16 (NLT) “If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me. I will be found by you,” says the Lord. “I will end your captivity and restore your fortunes. I will gather you out of the nations where I sent you and will bring you home again to your own land. Jeremiah 29:13-14 (NLT)

note to self: Where are you looking?

If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me. I will be found by you,” says the Lord. “I will end your captivity and restore your fortunes. I will gather you out of the nations where I sent you and will bring you home again to your own land.” ‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭29:13-14‬ ‭(NLT‬‬)

where do I stand?

For the kingdom of God does not consist in words but in power. ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭4:20‬ (‭NASB)

With me

Sit with me. Take the time to allow yourself to acknowledge me. Quiet your mind. Don’t settle for what the world gives you, but come to come. Allow my radiance to rest upon you. Be healed. Praise the Lord; praise God our savior! For each day he carries us in his arms. ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭68:19‬ ‭(NLT‬‬)

truth

Do not live in fear. Listen for me and hear me, and not the lies of the enemy would have you believe. My word is truth. My way casts out fear; it bring healing.

His hand at work

When the poor and needy search for water and there is none, and their tongues are parched from thirst, then I, the Lord, will answer them. I, the God of Israel, will never abandon them. I will open up rivers for them on the high plateaus. I will give them fountains of water in the valleys. I will fill the desert with pools of water. Rivers fed by springs will flow across the parched ground. I will plant trees in the barren desert— cedar, acacia, myrtle, olive, cypress, fir, and pine. I am doing this so all who see this miracle will understand what it means — that it is the Lord who has done this, the Holy One of Israel who created it. ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭41:17-20‬ ‭(NLT‬‬)

the announcing

O Zion, messenger of good news, shout from the mountaintops! Shout it louder, O Jerusalem. Shout, and do not be afraid. Tell the towns of Judah, “Your God is coming!” Yes, the Sovereign Lord is coming in power. He will rule with a powerful arm. See, he brings his reward with him as he comes. He will feed his flock like a shepherd. He will carry the lambs in his arms, holding them close to his heart. He will gently lead the mother sheep with their young. ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭40:9-11‬ ‭(NLT‬‬)

Hear my words

Hear me. Hear my Words. Let go of your past and move forward with me. Release those thoughts and words which bind to you. Come out of the bondage of self-expectation. You are mine. I have a plan for your life in my kingdom. Allow me to speak through you. Allow me to speak to you. Listen for me and follow after me. Move where I lead you, even when you’ve never been this way. I am your road-map. Follow after me. I am the pathway you have sought after. Hear me today. Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened. You parents—if your children ask for a loaf of bread, do you give them a stone instead? Or if they ask for a fish, do you give them a snake? Of course not! So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give g

Come closer

Listen for me. I am trying to get your attention. Come closer. I am what you need. If you make the Lord your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter, no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your home. For he will order his angels to protect you wherever you go.” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭91:9-11‬ ‭(NLT)

note to self...

Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives. ‭‭Galatians‬ ‭5:25‬ ‭(NLT)

I am here

Each day I am here. Look for me, I am calling out your name. Quiet yourself, the I AM is here now with you. Fear not, but make room for me. Quiet your ways, I desire to speak with you. I will whisper my plans to you, if you are willing to listen. In this way, they traveled and camped at the Lord’s command wherever he told them to go. Then they remained in their camp as long as the cloud stayed over the Tabernacle. ‭‭Numbers‬ ‭9:18‬ ‭(NLT)‬‬ Just then Saul approached Samuel at the gateway and asked, “Can you please tell me where the seer’s house is?” “I am the seer!” Samuel replied. “Go up to the place of worship ahead of me. We will eat there together, and in the morning I’ll tell you what you want to know and send you on your way.” ‭‭1 Samuel‬ ‭9:18-19‬ ‭(NLT‬‬)

evening prayer...

Hello God, This is me. I am asking again, for your clear direction. To again sense and know your very presence in my life. I thank you for things past and present. I thank you for things seen and unseen. You have been my protector and supplier for longer than I am aware, And I ask for your continuance in my life. Let me forget not your love. Amen.

Your security

I am your security. Seek me and I will be found. My ways are steadfast and secure. Spend time with me and learn to know my ways. Learn my ways. Feed upon my word. I will not desert you, for you are my creation. Fear not, for I am your security. Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see. Through their faith, the people in days of old earned a good reputation. By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at God’s command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen. ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭11:1-3‬ ‭(NLT)‬‬

Draw closer

Come closer. Find my peace. Allow it to be layered through your life. Draw closer.. Where can you escape to that I will not already be there?  Hide yourself in the safety of my shadow. The rain and snow come down from the heavens  and stay on the ground to water the earth.  They cause the grain to grow, producing seed for the farmer  and bread for the hungry.  It is the same with my word.  I send it out, and it always produces fruit.  It will accomplish all I want it to,  and it will prosper everywhere I send it. Isaiah 55:10-11 (NLT)

Are you ready?

Look for me.  I will show myself. What are you going to do with what I show you? Are you prepared? The rain and snow come down from the heavens and stay on the ground to water the earth. They cause the grain to grow, producing seed for the farmer and bread for the hungry. It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit.  It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it. ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭55:10-11‬ (‭NLT)

Have mercy on me

Have mercy on me, O God, have mercy! I look to you for protection. I will hide beneath the shadow of your wings until the danger passes by. I cry out to God Most High, to God who will fulfill his purpose for me. He will send help from heaven to rescue me, disgracing those who hound me. Interlude My God will send forth his unfailing love and faithfulness. I am surrounded by fierce lions who greedily devour human prey— whose teeth pierce like spears and arrows, and whose tongues cut like swords. Be exalted, O God, above the highest heavens! May your glory shine over all the earth. My enemies have set a trap for me. I am weary from distress. They have dug a deep pit in my path, but they themselves have fallen into it. Interlude My heart is confident in you, O God; my heart is confident. No wonder I can sing your praises! Wake up, my heart! Wake up, O lyre and harp! I will wake the dawn with my song. I will thank you, Lord, among all the people. I will sing your

adjustment

I will bless the Lord who guides me;  even at night my heart instructs me.  I know the Lord is always with me.  I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me. ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭16:7-8‬ ‭(NLT)

the sound of direction

Pause.  Listen for my sound of direction. I will give clear instruction as to what is needed. Do not be reactive, but wait for my direction, Not acting in fear. Fear not what you see. Trust in me. Continue. I will direct needed changes.

Persevere

Persevere. Do not become lax in your relationship with me. Push on to where I lead you. Camp where I show you to stay. I will be there. I am your protection. Move forward when I lead you  and you will succeed. Persevere; draw closer to me

Believe in me

Believe in me and the word which I speak. My prophetic word brings life. It renews and reverberates hope. It is truth. My word is never-ending. Believe in me and what I show and tell you. “Come now, let’s settle this,” says the Lord. “Though your sins are like scarlet, I will make them as white as snow. Though they are red like crimson, I will make them as white as wool. If you will only obey me, you will have plenty to eat. But if you turn away and refuse to listen, you will be devoured by the sword of your enemies. I, the Lord, have spoken!” Isaiah 1:18-20 (NLT)

Step forth

My plans for you have not changed nor wavered. Are you ready? My heart for you is steadfast. Reach out to me and latch on. Grasp the love and acceptance I freely share. Become the warrior I already see within you. Listen as I give you my direction and then step forth. So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them.  For the Lord your God will personally go ahead of you.  He will neither fail you nor abandon you. ‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭31:6‬ ‭(NLT)‬‬ For God has said, “I will never fail you. I will never abandon you.” ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭13:5b‬ (‭NLT)

your time of transition

So Abram departed as the Lord had instructed, and Lot went with him.  Abram was seventy-five years old when he left Haran.  He took his wife, Sarai, his nephew Lot, and all his wealth— his livestock and all the people he had taken into his household at Haran— and headed for the land of Canaan. When they arrived in Canaan,  Abram traveled through the land as far as Shechem.  There he set up camp beside the oak of Moreh. At that time,  the area was inhabited by Canaanites.  Then the Lord appeared to Abram and said,  “I will give this land to your descendants. ”  And Abram built an altar there and dedicated it  to the Lord, who had appeared to him. Genesis 12:4-7 (NLT) Yes, you are in a time of personal transition. From Haran to Hebron Abram travelled, but remember, I was already there to guide him and greet him. Think back, I have been with you throughout. My hand of protection and guidance has been upon you. I am with you yet this very day, and will be ever with yo

See beyond

See beyond what your natural vision shows you, align yourself with my ways. Look into the heart of what I show you. My Spirit sees all things. Do not judge by how you feel in the natural, but ask me.  I will display the heart of a matter. I am truth. My ways are not vindictive or accusing. I am the light, through me there is freedom. Come away and spend your time with me. I will show you my ways. I will cleanse you of that which is not of me .

Looking for something?

Trust in the Lord with all your heart,  and lean not on your own understanding;  in all your ways acknowledge Him, and  He shall direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6 (NLT) Seek me and I will be found.

my thanks

But Moses told the people, “Don’t be afraid. Just stand still and watch the Lord rescue you today.  The Egyptians you see today will never be seen again.  The Lord himself will fight for you. Just stay calm.” Exodus 14:13-14 (NLT) You saw me before I was born.  Every day of my life was recorded in your book.  Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. Psalms 139:16 (NLT) I thank you that you know me and answer when I call to you. You know my heart and my needs. You know all there is to know, yet you lovingly respond; not reactive, as I can be.  Soften me.  I thank you for your caring and protective ways.

I am yet with you

Do not fear. I am yet with you. Listen my voice and not to that of the world. I will guide you the way you should travel. I am your light. Be not discouraged. I am yet with you. Watch for me and my guiding. I will show you  what you need. I will lighten you way

Quiet yourself

Quiet yourself. Come and sit with me. Close your eyes and rest in my presence. Set aside your stress and guilt. You are cleansed in me.   Allow me to guide you. I am all you need. I am your provision. Learn to trust in me.

Be prepared

Be prepared. Do not be surprised by what I will be doing. Be ready for my presence to lead and direct you into my ways. What I show you is not for you to keep, but to give away to all I bring into your pathway. Be ready. I am about to show  my heart to the lost and hurting.
