Draw Near

Leave your fears and insecurities at my altar. Step closer. Believe I will do what I said I will do. You cannot fail. I have supplied all which you will need.

Pause and consider

Open up, you gates. Open wide, you aged doors and the glorious King will come in. Who is this glorious King? The Lord, strong and mighty. The Lord, the powerful warrior. Open up, you gates. Open wide, you aged doors and the glorious King will come in. Who is this glorious King? The Lord All-Powerful— he is the glorious King. Selah ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭24:7-10‬ (‭NCV‬‬)

Be Filled

I will show myself, hidden and yet open. Be watching for me in those ways of wonder and simplicity. I will display myself and my ways. Be secure in my love. Fill yourself with my word. My word brings life. In it is the liberty you seek. Within those spoken Words came creation.

Watch for Me

Watch for me and you will find me. Listen each day for my direction, so you will be in position. I have more for you to share with others. Do not stand in fear of the enemy. But Look up. I AM still at work. I am smiling Upon you. I yet am the way, truth and light You will find my ways in snippets of your dreams. Continue each day in my Word.

This time of need

I hear these things, and my body trembles; my lips tremble when I hear the sound. My bones feel weak, and my legs shake. But I will wait patiently for the day of disaster that will come to the people who attack us. Fig trees may not grow figs, and there may be no grapes on the vines. There may be no olives growing and no food growing in the fields. There may be no sheep in the pens and no cattle in the barns. But I will still be glad in the Lord; I will rejoice in God my Savior. The Lord God is my strength. He makes me like a deer that does not stumble so I can walk on the steep mountains. For the director of music. On my stringed instruments. Habakkuk 3:16-19 (NCV) Father-God, You hear our prayers, even before we speak them to you. You know our needs and our hearts. Show mercy. Send refreshing so we might praise you. Heal our wounds and grant rest and refreshing. Spill upon those who call upon your name. Grant your favor and sustenance to those in need. Wipe away the tears of the frig

Hidden in Me

The Lord is your protection; you have made God Most High your place of safety. Nothing bad will happen to you; no disaster will come to your home. He has put his angels in charge of you to watch over you wherever you go. They will catch you in their hands so that you will not hit your foot on a rock. You will walk on lions and cobras; you will step on strong lions and snakes. The Lord says, “Whoever loves me, I will save. I will protect those who know me.” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭91:9-14‬ ‭(NCV‬)‬ My angels are all about you. They have their assignments of protection and guidance. They serve their purposes without question and mostly without notice by you. Know my heart and the plans I have made. Learn my hands of guidance and protection. Step forward. Move in what I have given to you and receive more. Become bold in me and walk in my humility. Be hidden in me and my plans.

Are you hiding?

When you pray, you should go into your room and close the door and pray to your Father who cannot be seen. Your Father can see what is done in secret, and he will reward you. Matthew 6:6 (NCV) Be careful of false prophets. They come to you looking gentle like sheep, but they are really dangerous like wolves. You will know these people by what they do. Grapes don’t come from thornbushes, and figs don’t come from thorny weeds. In the same way, every good tree produces good fruit, but a bad tree produces bad fruit. A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot produce good fruit. Every tree that does not produce good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. In the same way, you will know these false prophets by what they do. ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭7:15-20‬ ‭(NCV)‬‬

My Light

You are the light that gives light to the world. A city that is built on a hill cannot be hidden. And people don’t hide a light under a bowl. They put it on a lampstand so the light shines for all the people in the house. In the same way, you should be a light for other people. Live so that they will see the good things you do and will praise your Father in heaven. ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5:14-16‬ ‭(NCV‬)‬ In this time of darkness you are my light. Reflect my heart and attitude to those I bring in your pathway. Don't react in anger, but show the love I have shown for you. You are my light, so shine with clarity. Speak truth in love. Speak direction so they too may find me. Fear not the threat of the enemy. Stand secure in me.

Where Is Your Faith?

Jehoshaphat’s army went out into the Desert of Tekoa early in the morning. As they were starting out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, “Listen to me, people of Judah and Jerusalem. Have faith in the Lord your God, and you will stand strong. Have faith in his prophets, and you will succeed.” Jehoshaphat listened to the people’s advice. Then he chose men to be singers to the Lord, to praise him because he is holy and wonderful. As they marched in front of the army, they said, “Thank the Lord, because his love continues forever.” As they began to sing and praise God, the Lord set ambushes for the people of Ammon, Moab, and Edom who had come to attack Judah. And they were defeated.” ‭‭2 Chronicles‬ ‭20:20-22‬ ‭(NCV‬‬)

Dream BIG

I invite you to come and sit before me. Bring your questions and your pains. Place them before me. Let’s hear what is bothering you. Let me wash you with fresh water and direction. Healing is available. I am not disappointed in you. Come. Do not hesitate or come in fear. I offer you all that I am. Come and see more of what I’ve begun to show you. Dream BIG in me.

the one who saves

The teachings of the Lord are perfect; they give new strength. The rules of the Lord can be trusted; they make plain people wise. The orders of the Lord are right; they make people happy. The commands of the Lord are pure; they light up the way. Respect for the Lord is good; it will last forever. The judgments of the Lord are true; they are completely right. I hope my words and thoughts please you. Lord, you are my Rock, the one who saves me. Psalms 19:7-9, 14 (NCV) Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his great power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can fight against the devil’s evil tricks. Our fight is not against people on earth but against the rulers and authorities and the powers of this world’s darkness, against the spiritual powers of evil in the heavenly world. That is why you need to put on God’s full armor. Then on the day of evil you will be able to stand strong. And when you have finished the whole fight, you will still be standing. Ephesians 6:10-13 (NCV)

Let it Shine

Let there be light. My light will illuminate What is needed to be seen. My light is from My spoken word. Where I Am, where I send you there is no darkness. My life and light is within you. Let it shine.

Speak Forth

In the beginning God created the sky and the earth. The earth was empty and had no form. Darkness covered the ocean, and God’s Spirit was moving over the water. Then God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. God saw that the light was good, so he divided the light from the darkness. God named the light “day” and the darkness “night.” Evening passed, and morning came. This was the first day ‭‭Genesis‬ ‭1:1-5‬ (‭NCV)‬‬ Look about you. All this was created by my spoken Word. You are my special creation. You carry my breath of life. Tend to those things I have placed with in heart. Speak forth my Word of encouragement.

His Spirit

Also, the Spirit helps us with our weakness. We do not know how to pray as we should. But the Spirit himself speaks to God for us, even begs God for us with deep feelings that words cannot explain. God can see what is in people’s hearts. And he knows what is in the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit speaks to God for his people in the way God wants.

Continue Growing

Don’t become distracted by the ways of the enemy. Do not allow his traps to entangle you. Keep your eyes upon me and what I have spoken to you. My ways are unchanging. My truth brings life. You are precious. Yes, you are mine. Continue to grow in me.

His Ways

The ways of God are without fault. The Lord’s words are pure. He is a shield to those who trust him. Who is God? Only the Lord. Who is the Rock? Only our God. God is my protection. He makes my way free from fault. He makes me like a deer that does not stumble; he helps me stand on the steep mountains. He trains my hands for battle so my arms can bend a bronze bow. You protect me with your saving shield. You support me with your right hand. You have stooped to make me great. You give me a better way to live, so I live as you want me to. Psalms 18:30-36 (NCV)

Truth

Do not fear the plan of the enemy. He seeks to draw you off-course; to allow fear to lead you his way. Consume my written word. Become more familiar with my plan and your part in it. Spend time in my presence and feel the healing I have for you. I am the way which leads to life. My way is Truth.

Where is your strength?

I love you, Lord. You are my strength. The Lord is my rock, my protection, my Savior. My God is my rock. I can run to him for safety. He is my shield and my saving strength, my defender. I will call to the Lord, who is worthy of praise, and I will be saved from my enemies. Psalms 18:1-3 (NCV)

Humility

Humble yourself in the Lord’s presence, and he will honor you. ‭‭James‬ ‭4:10‬ ‭(NCV‬‬) Think back. Walk again in that ever-thirsting attitude. Allow me to reveal my heart. Seek me out and I will reveal secrets of my heart and plans you can join-in with me. Walk in the obedience as I show you. My joy will overflow from within you. Peace will surround your path.

Check Your Dreams

Jacob left Beersheba and set out for Haran. When he came to a place, he spent the night there because the sun had set. He found a stone and laid his head on it to go to sleep. Jacob dreamed that there was a ladder resting on the earth and reaching up into heaven, and he saw angels of God going up and coming down the ladder. Then Jacob saw the Lord standing above the ladder, and he said, I am the Lord, the God of Abraham your grandfather, and the God of Isaac. I will give you and your descendants the land on which you are now sleeping. Your descendants will be as many as the dust of the earth. They will spread west and east, north and south, and all the families of the earth will be blessed through you and your descendants. I am with you and will protect you everywhere you go and will bring you back to this land. I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you. ‭‭Genesis‬ ‭28:10-15‬ ‭(NCV‬‬) Do not become angry and discouraged, but be listening for me. The I AM is yet s

Saving

Please save me from my brother Esau. I am afraid he will come and kill all of us, even the mothers with the children. You said to me, ‘I will treat you well and will make your children as many as the sand of the seashore. There will be too many to count. Jacob stayed there for the night and prepared a gift for Esau from what he had with him Genesis 32:11-13 (NCV) Don’t believe the lies and schemes of my enemy. There is nothing can separate you from my love. Learn the truth I have set it for you to experience. I have supplied all that you need. You will find it as you seek my Son.

the great wrestling

During the night Jacob rose and crossed the Jabbok River at the crossing, taking with him his two wives, his two slave girls, and his eleven sons. He sent his family and everything he had across the river. So Jacob was alone, and a man came and wrestled with him until the sun came up. ‭‭Genesis‬ ‭32:22-24‬ ‭(NCV‬‬)

What is your name?

Then he said to Jacob, “Let me go. The sun is coming up.” But Jacob said, “I will let you go if you will bless me.” The man said to him, “What is your name?” And he answered, “Jacob.” Then the man said, “Your name will no longer be Jacob. Your name will now be Israel, because you have wrestled with God and with people, and you have won.” Then Jacob asked him, “Please tell me your name.” But the man said, “Why do you ask my name?” Then he blessed Jacob there. So Jacob named that place Peniel, saying, “I have seen God face to face, but my life was saved.”” ‭‭Genesis‬ ‭32:26-30‬ ‭(NCV)‬‬ Lift your head and answer me. What is your name? Have you forgotten whose you are? I have given you my name. You will be my FireCarrier. I have covered you with my mantle and given you my sword. I continue to grant you provision and protection. Continue to move forth where I shall show you.

Seek Him

How long will you forget me, Lord? Forever? How long will you hide from me? How long must I worry and feel sad in my heart all day? How long will my enemy win over me? Lord, look at me. Answer me, my God; tell me, or I will die. Otherwise my enemy will say, I have won! Those against me will rejoice that I’ve been defeated. I trust in your love. My heart is happy because you saved me. I sing to the Lord because he has taken care of me. ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭13:1-6‬ ‭(NCV‬)‬ Seek first God’s kingdom and what God wants. Then all your other needs will be met as well. ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6:33‬ ‭(NCV‬‬)

Word for Josh

On the seventh day they got up at dawn and marched around the city, just as they had on the days before. But on that day they marched around the city seven times. The seventh time around the priests blew their trumpets. Then Joshua gave the command: “Now, shout! The Lord has given you this city!” Joshua 6:15-16 (NCV) Parts of the past rise up as feelings and ambitions. Hold onto them and then inspect them in my light. It is now time for you to walkout what I have placed within you. The answer remains “yes”. My thoughts and plans for you have not changed. Only now you see them through a mature lens. Now is the time. Be heard. Blow the trumpets. The walls are coming down.

In Those Times

How long will you forget me, Lord? Forever? How long will you hide from me? How long must I worry and feel sad in my heart all day? How long will my enemy win over me? Lord, look at me. Answer me, my God; tell me, or I will die. Otherwise my enemy will say, I have won! Those against me will rejoice that I’ve been defeated. I trust in your love. My heart is happy because you saved me. I sing to the Lord because he has taken care of me. Psalms 13:1-6 (NCV)

Rest in Me

Jesus answered, I am the way, and the truth, and the life. The only way to the Father is through me. If you really knew me, you would know my Father, too. But now you do know him, and you have seen him. ‭‭John‬ ‭14:6-7‬ ‭(NCV‬‬) Rest in me Remove the noise of your every-day life and seek after me. Each day spend time with me. Sit silent before me and receive healing. Set aside time for me and watch the internal changes I will bring for you. Ask me to share myself, so you might share me with others. Rest in me and become what I already see within you.

Trust in Me

The Lord has set his throne in heaven, and his kingdom rules over everything. You who are his angels, praise the Lord. You are the mighty warriors who do what he says and who obey his voice. You, his armies, praise the Lord; you are his servants who do what he wants. Everything the Lord has made should praise him in all the places he rules. My whole being, praise the Lord. Psalms 103:19-22 (NCV) Put aside the fear the enemy would place before you. I AM what you need. I AM the creator of all. My ways and my heart have not changed. Come unto me and receive healing. Allow me to touch your weaknesses and restore your fulness. Trust in me. Walk in my ways. Learn to seek my heart.

preparation

Ask for more and allow me to refill you. I will open the plans I have for you. I will show you the road map. Will you follow me? I AM the way you are searching for.

Watch...

Be alert and watch for me. Let your heart be filled with prayer and thanksgiving. Allow me to lead you into those new places.

Where are you hiding?

I am a God who is near, says the Lord. I am also a God who is far away. No one can hide where I cannot see him, says the Lord. I fill all of heaven and earth, says the Lord. ‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭23:23-24 (‭NCV‬)‬

Trusting Me

Trust in me. Listen for my guiding goal voice. I will direct you into truth. Don’t allow fear I am the good shepherd. I know my sheep, and my sheep know me. John 10:14 (NCV) Do not be lazy, but feed upon my word. Let it grow within you and give you guidance and strength. My word is life and truth. Use it as a guide-post. It is yet the way you should be striving. My word remains truthful. Within it you will find abundant life. Within it you will find me.

My love...

Don’t become discouraged, but refresh yourself in me. Let my ways become your ways. Allow me to whisper encouragement and direction in your every-day life. My love covers over you. Each day I will give you direction and encouragement.

Let it rain...

This is the account of the creation of the heavens and the earth. When the Lord God made the earth and the heavens, neither wild plants nor grains were growing on the earth. For the Lord God had not yet sent rain to water the earth, and there were no people to cultivate the soil. Instead, springs came up from the ground and watered all the land. Genesis 2:4-6 (NLT) When Noah was 600 years old, on the seventeenth day of the second month, all the underground waters erupted from the earth, and the rain fell in mighty torrents from the sky. The rain continued to fall for forty days and forty nights. That very day Noah had gone into the boat with his wife and his sons—Shem, Ham, and Japheth—and their wives. ‭‭Genesis‬ ‭7:11-13‬ ‭(NLT‬‬)

direction for the journey

Don’t compare yourself with others, but measure yourself covered in my love. Seek me and find the fulfillment you are looking for. Step out of your self-made shadows and into my light. I will show you the way to travel. I will map-out your journey.

differing gifts

However, since we have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, each of us is to use them properly: if prophecy, in proportion to one’s faith; if service, in the act of serving; or the one who teaches, in the act of teaching; or the one who exhorts, in the work of exhortation; the one who gives, with generosity;   the one who is in leadership, with diligence; the one who shows mercy, with cheerfulness. Romans 12:6-8 (NASB)

This Day

In the beginning the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God. He existed in the beginning with God. God created everything through him, and nothing was created except through him. The Word gave life to everything that was created, and his life brought light to everyone. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it. ‭‭John‬ ‭1:1-5‬ ‭(NLT‬‬) This day, pause and listen for me. I am bringing healing. Leave your tension and ideas here with me. Soak in what I have for you, this very day. Don’t allow the enemy to distract you. He has no power over my ways and direction for you.

I will be found

As you move about today in your activities, be on watch for me. I AM there awaiting you. Allow me to reach within and influence you. If you search for me, you will find me, often hidden in plain sight. Let me reach in and remove that stress-headache. You can be filled with my joy and direction. I will refill you with the energy of seeking after what I’ve shown you in the past. Be on watch for me and I will be found.

thoughts for 7/8

The Lord said to Moses and Aaron, When Pharaoh says to you, Do a miracle, and you say to Aaron, Take your staff and throw it down before Pharaoh, it will become a snake. When Moses and Aaron went to Pharaoh, they did so, just as the Lord had commanded them – Aaron threw down his staff before Pharaoh and his servants and it became a snake. Exodus 7:8-10 (NET) Finishing is better than starting. Patience is better than pride. Ecclesiastes 7:8 (NLT) Do not gloat over me, my enemies! For though I fall, I will rise again. Though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light. Micah 7:8 (NLT) For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened. Matthew 7:8 (NLT)

Reaching Out

Where there is no prophetic vision the people cast off restraint, but blessed is he who keeps the law. Proverbs 29:18 (ESV) Jabez prayed to the God of Israel, “Please bless me and give me more territory. May your power be with me and free me from evil so that I will not be in pain.” God gave him what he prayed for. ‭‭1 Chronicles‬ ‭4:10‬ ‭(GW‬‬) Reach out. See what I will do through you. Ask for my guidance and direction. Be ever-moving in what I have already given you and receive more for what I will yet reveal to you.

limitless

I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭3:16-18‬ ‭(NLT‬‬) Leave your frustration with me. Sit still and invite me to be present with you. Allow me to bring the ideas and changes necessary for you. Close your eyes and envision me. I will refill you with my purpose and direction.

Speak in love

Don’t compare what I’m doing with and for others with what I am doing within you, but continue to seek me. Be molded into my image, following where I show you. Speak forth my truth in love. Bring healing to the wounded.

ekstasis

I saw a figure that appeared to be a man. From what appeared to be his waist down, he looked like a burning flame. From the waist up he looked like gleaming amber. He reached out what seemed to be a hand and took me by the hair. Then the Spirit lifted me up into the sky and transported me to Jerusalem in a vision from God. I was taken to the north gate of the inner courtyard of the Temple, where there is a large idol that has made the Lord very jealous. Suddenly, the glory of the God of Israel was there, just as I had seen it before in the valley. ‭‭Ezekiel‬ ‭8:2-4‬ (‭NLT‬‬)

Step Forth

I am calling forth your name. Step forth and receive what I have for you. Reach out and take this sword of truth. Let it glisten in my pure light and never be used in anger. I will again carry you into the heavens. You will see the plan and now carry forth with knowledge and revelation. I will speak my plans into your heart.  Fear not. You will know I am directing you.

advance

I have given you a coat of many colours and a ring representing all that I have. My spoken blessing is upon you. It is time for you to step forth. Move forward where I show you. Don’t hesitate, but advance in my truth, setting free those I show you.

Are you Listening?

But now, O Jacob, listen to the Lord who created you. O Israel, the one who formed you says, Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine. When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. For I am the Lord, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior. I gave Egypt as a ransom for your freedom; I gave Ethiopia and Seba in your place. Others were given in exchange for you. I traded their lives for yours because you are precious to me. You are honored, and I love you. Do not be afraid, for I am with you. I will gather you and your children from east and west. I will say to the north and south, Bring my sons and daughters back to Israel from the distant corners of the earth. Bring all who claim me as their God, for I have made them for my glory. It was I who created them. ‭‭Isaiah‬

Watch for Me

The Lord is watching everywhere, keeping his eye on both the evil and the good. ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭15:3‬ ‭(NLT‬‬) Watch for me and I will show myself. I am the ever-present creator. I show my love to the generations. My love remains steadfast. Those who seek me are never disappointed. They are safely hidden away in my hand. Watch for me in the night. I Am already there. My healing ways are open. Come and receive.

Do Not Be Afraid

‭‭Isaiah‬

what you need

I AM what you need. My direction will guide you, safely into the territory I’ve allotted for you. Fire by night or cloud by day, follow my leading. Do not allow fear to be your guide. Listen to those I’ve called to lead. You will know them.

Thoughts for 7-1

Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. For you will be treated as you treat others. The standard you use in judging is the standard by which you will be judged. Matthew 7:1-2 (NLT) After these things Jesus was walking in Galilee, for He was unwilling to walk in Judea because the Jews were seeking to kill Him. Now the feast of the Jews, the Feast of Booths, was near. Therefore His brothers said to Him, Leave here and go into Judea, so that Your disciples also may see Your works which You are doing. For no one does anything in secret when he himself seeks to be known publicly. If You do these things, show Yourself to the world. For not even His brothers were believing in Him. So Jesus said to them, My time is not yet here, but your time is always opportune. The world cannot hate you, but it hates Me because I testify of it, that its deeds are evil. ‭‭John‬ ‭7:1-7‬ ‭(NASB)
