remembering whose we are

You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, And praise the name of the LORD your God, Who has dealt wondrously with you; And My people shall never be put to shame. Then you shall know that I am in the midst of Israel: I am the LORD your God And there is no other. My people shall never be put to shame. Joel 2:26-27 (NKJV)

Awaken and arise

Awaken yourself. Do not be satisfied with what you now see, nor be discouraged. There is more as you learn to walk and depend upon me for all things. I am yet dwelling with and in you. I have given you dominion. Awaken and rise in my power. Walk though the land which I shall give to you. Awaken and arise into the priesthood I have placed you. Do not be surprised nor hesitate, but awaken to what I shall show you. The time for slumber is past. Put away what you once knew as truth. I am truth and life. Remove the lies which surround and hinder you. I have clothed you with my righteousness. I have given you a mantle which no one else can remove. Awaken and arise in me. The earth is awaiting. The sea of people are awaiting for my people to respond.

…voice from heaven saying

And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away." Revelation 21:3-4 (NKJV)

are we there yet?

…until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God — a mature person, attaining to the measure of Christ’s full stature. Ephesians 4:13 (NET)

from Jacob to the reader

The blessings of your father are greater than the blessings of the eternal mountains or the desirable things of the age-old hills. They will be on the head of Joseph and on the brow of the prince of his brothers. Genesis 49:26 (NET)

on the breastpiece of decision

…and the fourth row, a chrysolite, an onyx, and a jasper. They were enclosed in gold filigree settings. The stones were for the names of the sons of Israel, twelve, corresponding to the number of their names. Each name corresponding to one of the twelve tribes was like the engravings of a seal. Exodus 39:13-14 (NET)

a good fix

So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:18 (NIV)

from the Bread of Life

For this is the will of my Father — for everyone who looks on the Son and believes in him to have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.”  John 6:40 (NET)

an exhortation

Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice, set things right, be encouraged, agree with one another, live in peace, and the God of love and peace will be with you. 2 Corinthians 13:11 (NET)

and you?

If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And if I have prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. And if I shall dole out all my goods in food, and if I deliver up my body that I may be burned, but have not love, I profit nothing. 1 Corinthians 13:1-3 (Darby)

words of knowledge

There is gold, and an abundance of rubies, but words of knowledge are like a precious jewel. Proverbs 20:15 (NET)

if I do not have love

I may have the gift of prophecy. I may understand all the secret things of God and have all knowledge, and I may have faith so great I can move mountains. But even with all these things, if I do not have love, then I am nothing. I may give away everything I have, and I may even give my body as an offering to be burned. But I gain nothing if I do not have love. 1 Corinthians 13:2-3 (NCV)

Recognize me

Continue to grow in me so you may prosper. Avoid judging spiritual matters by your human intuition. Recognize the natural is a reflection of the spiritual. Use wisdom.   You have received a great light. Do not try to hide or contain it. Allow me to burn brightly and you will begin to recognize me in new situations and places.   Turn aside from your old ways and convenient paths. Ask continue to ask for more of me .

awaken

When Jesus heard that John had been put in prison, he returned to Galilee. Leaving Nazareth, he went and lived in Capernaum, which was by the lake in the area of Zebulun and Naphtali-- to fulfill what was said through the prophet Isaiah: "Land of Zebulun and land of Naphtali, the way to the sea, along the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles-- the people living in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned." From that time on Jesus began to preach, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near."   Matthew 4:12-17 (NIV)

a time of thanksgiving…

He brought me forth also into a large place; He was delivering me because He was pleased with me and delighted in me. The Lord rewarded me according to my righteousness (my conscious integrity and sincerity with Him); according to the cleanness of my hands has He recompensed me. Psalm 18:19-20 (AMP)

the kingdom is at hand

IN THOSE days there appeared John the Baptist, preaching in the Wilderness (Desert) of Judea And saying, Repent (think differently; change your mind, regretting your sins and changing your conduct), for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. Matthew 3:1-2 (AMP)

I say to you, get up!

It is time for you to get up. Arise from your place and come sit with me. I have a place for you. You are no longer dead, but alive. For too long you’ve set aside the dreams I’ve given you. You let them sit so long that you’ve forgotten, left them as if dead. Arise and walk in new strength. Do not be complacent. Speak my words aloud. Stir up your spirit. It is time. Shake off the dormancy. Exercise what I have within you that you may grow. I say to you, get up. Open your eyes and reach out your hands. The kingdom of heaven is at hand.   When the Lord saw her, he had compassion for her and said to her, “Do not weep.” Then he came up and touched the bier, and those who carried it stood still. He said, “Young man, I say to you, get up!” So the dead man sat up and began to speak, and Jesus gave him back to his mother. Luke 7:13-15 (NET)

raised from the dead

When Elisha arrived at the house, there was the child lying dead on his bed. He went in by himself and closed the door. Then he prayed to the LORD. He got up on the bed and spread his body out over the boy; he put his mouth on the boy’s mouth, his eyes over the boy’s eyes, and the palms of his hands against the boy’s palms. He bent down over him, and the boy’s skin grew warm. Elisha went back and walked around in the house. Then he got up on the bed again and bent down over him. The child sneezed seven times and opened his eyes. Elisha called to Gehazi and said, “Get the Shunammite woman.” So he did so and she came to him. He said to her, “Take your son.” 2 Kings 4:32-36 (NET)

he cried out to the LORD

"Give me your son," Elijah replied. He took him from her arms, carried him to the upper room where he was staying, and laid him on his bed. Then he cried out to the LORD, "O LORD my God, have you brought tragedy also upon this widow I am staying with, by causing her son to die?" Then he stretched himself out on the boy three times and cried to the LORD, "O LORD my God, let this boy's life return to him!" The LORD heard Elijah's cry, and the boy's life returned to him, and he lived.  1 Kings 17:19-22 (NIV)
