clear direction...

In uncertain times or perhaps even more so when things seem fine and prosperous, consider the source for direction. You can receive sure direction for the days/ways of your life.  “Your own ears will hear him. Right behind you a voice will say, “This is the way you should go,” whether to the right or to the left.”  Isaiah 30:21 (NLT)

time for a tune-up?

But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!   Galatians 5:22-23 New Living Translation (NLT) How are you doing these current days? Might it be time for a Spirit tune-up?

Psalms 91(NLT)

1 Those who live in the shelter of the Most High  will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.  2 This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety;  he is my God, and I trust him. 3 For he will rescue you from every trap and protect you from deadly disease. 4 He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection. 5 Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night,  nor the arrow that flies in the day. 6 Do not dread the disease that stalks in darkness, nor the disaster that strikes at midday. 7 Though a thousand fall at your side,  though ten thousand are dying around you, these evils will not touch you.  8 Just open your eyes, and see how the wicked are punished.  9 If you make the Lord your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter,  10 no evil will conquer you;  no plague will come near your home. 11 For he will order his an

Show them me

I am ever-present, eternal.  I have not changed. My plans are for you to prosper. My ways and methods have not changed. I have much more for you to experience. I have much more for you to share with those I place in your pathway. Show them me. Speak my words of truth and peace. Let them flood your world. Let there be no fear of the unknown, but security in me.

His Word holds true

“For the word of the Lord holds true, and we can trust everything he does.” Psalms 33:4 (NLT) As I was returning to bed during the night, I looked at the clock and tried to return to sleep. I heard a familiar voice and question, “What time is it?” I took a glance at the clock and pushed my head into the pillow.  Again I heard “What time is it?” Already I had forgotten what I had just seen. So I again lifted my head and looked at the clock. This time I repeated the time, so I would hear myself. I was to look for 3:34 scripture. As I did I was directed to think differently.  I realize that sometimes or even often, I am fixed in my thought patterns. So I did look for the 33:4 verse which He would speak to me. There is a lesson which we can grow in:  Yes, His Word holds true. He is trustworthy.

the Lord is always with me

“But the Lord is in his holy Temple. Let all the earth be silent before him.”” Habakkuk 2:20 (NLT) “I will bless the Lord who guides me; even at night my heart instructs me. I know the Lord is always with me. I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me.”  Psalms 16:7-8 (NLT) Don't rely on another to hear God for you. Father-God speaks to his creation. He will send guidance or correction. He brings healing and solace. He releases joy and expectation.  He wishes to draw us closer to Him, so we might become the person He's created. Don't believe me, but ask him. Let him know your situation, and see if He does not answer. He answers in many ways and thru circumstances; thru dreams or His words thru others. Take a moment to call out to Him, believing He will answer.

dependence

A good person produces good things from the treasury of a good heart, and an evil person produces evil things from the treasury of an evil heart. What you say flows from what is in your heart.  Luke 6:45. (NLT) Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Colossians 3:15 (NIV) We need to be fed by the Word of God, both the written and the living Word provide what we need not only to sustain us, but to stimulate us to grow. Do not hold onto fear or those around you will be adversely be affected, and you will turn inward, for getting the way of protection and life. Turn to Jesus and spend time with Him. Be dependent upon his presence to cause you to grow.

I am your security

Fear not, for I am yet with you. Do not allow emotions to rule your life. Your security is in me. My blood covers those who draw near. The tactic of the enemy remains fear, to drive and keep you away from the Truth.  I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. Call upon my name and I will answer you. Hide yourself within my covering.

the love I show you

“You are the children of those prophets, and you are included in the covenant God promised to your ancestors. For God said to Abraham, ‘Through your descendants all the families on earth will be blessed.’”  Acts of the Apostles 3:25 (NLT) What are you sharing?  What does your lifestyle and tongue say to those around you? Lift up your voice. Let your praise be heard anointing my creation. Speak truth and justice. Proclaim my way in your daily life. Walk out what I have shown you to be true and you shall receive more. Take time to listen and I will direct you. Do not be timid, Raise my banner. Walk in the love I show you. “At that time I pleaded with the Lord and said, ‘O Sovereign Lord, you have only begun to show your greatness and the strength of your hand to me, your servant. Is there any god in heaven or on earth who can perform such great and mighty deeds as you do?” Deu teronomy 3:23-24 (NLT)

Fear not! Seek me.

“As Samuel grew up, the Lord was with him, and everything Samuel said proved to be reliable. And all Israel, from Dan in the north to Beersheba in the south, knew that Samuel was confirmed as a prophet of the Lord. The Lord continued to appear at Shiloh and gave messages to Samuel there at the Tabernacle.  And Samuel’s words went out to all the people of Israel.”  1 Samuel 3:19-22 (NLT) The Lord-God creator and protector still speaks.  He gives direction to those who seek Him and listen to what He speaks thru His prophets.  "Fear not. Do not listen to the trolling of the enemy. I am yet in control"

where are you looking

In this time of distress where are you looking? What are you trusting in?  Consider the love our creator-Father has for us, even as individuals. Reach out and find relationship and comfort in Him. “Truly my soul finds rest in God; my salvation comes from him. Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will never be shaken.” Psalms 62:1-2 (NIV) Father-God, we need you. I need you.You are not surprised nor shaken. Draw us to you. I sit within the shadow of your presence and there I can find peace and direction. I ask for your stability and steadfastness in this current time. Allow your glory to be seen. May Jesus become my model of peace and living.

calm the storms

Do not succumb to the tactic of the enemy. We are reminded to "Fear not". It directs our emotions and causes us to look away from the face of God. The enemy would kill, steal and destroy. We do not need allow that. Speak aloud the Words of God. He has given us promises and more importantly, he has given us Jesus. Open yourself to Jesus. Call upon (ask Him to show himself). His peace and protection are for real.  Act upon the tactics of God. Call upon Him, believing.  He will strengthen you and calm the storms which seem to surround you.

No judgement against you...

“The LORD has removed the judgment against you; he has turned back your enemy. Israel’s king, the LORD, is in your midst! You no longer need to fear disaster.”  Zephaniah 3:15 (NET)

my ways

Where is your heart this day? Have you come before me without a laundry-list of needs?Quiet your anxieties and soak before me. I am not angry with you. I am saddened by the damage I see brought by the enemy. Become hungry for me. Allow me to move on your behalf. Become my emissary. There are many who do not know me, or even that I care for them. Come sit with me. Allow my healing ways to cover you.

Are you listening for me?

“My heart is stirred by a beautiful song. I say, “I have composed this special song for the king; my tongue is as skilled as the stylus of an experienced scribe.””   Psalms 45:1 (NET)  “I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you should go; I will counsel you with My eye upon you.”   Psalms 32:8 (NASB)

3:3 on 3/3

But you, O LORD, are a shield around me; you are my glory, the one who holds my head high. Psalms 3:3 (NLT) I thank you for your unchanging love and protection towards me. Shield me from the wicked ways of the enemy and my negligent ways. Draw me again closer to you. Open my eyes to what you have yet for me to do.

going ahead....

“They were on the way, going up to Jerusalem. Jesus was going ahead of them, and they were amazed, but those who followed were afraid. He took the twelve aside again and began to tell them what was going to happen to him.”  Mark 10:32 (NET) We all have our journeys of life.  Can we say can we say that we re amazed by Him and what He is still doing? Or, do we not recognize Him, and lag behind. It does not need be that way, if we would call to Him.
