blesseds from the old covenant

This is what the Lord says: “Be just and fair to all. Do what is right and good, for I am coming soon to rescue you and to display my righteousness among you. Blessed are all those who are careful to do this. Blessed are those who honor my Sabbath days of rest and keep themselves from doing wrong. Isaiah 56:1-2 (NLT)

my blessing

“Listen to me, all who hope for deliverance— all who seek the Lord! Consider the rock from which you were cut, the quarry from which you were mined. Yes, think about Abraham, your ancestor, and Sarah, who gave birth to your nation. Abraham was only one man when I called him. But when I blessed him, he became a great nation.”  Isaiah 51:1-2 (NLT)

walk with me

And God blessed them; and God said to them, " Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky, and over every living thing that moves on the earth." Genesis 1:28 (NASB) I sent my son that might know me; that you could see my heart. I have not changed. My heart is for you. My heart is for those who do not yet know me. As you grow in us, you will grow in awareness of your authority. Multiple my ways. I have not changed. I AM. My names reveal my heart and aspects of my character. Abiding in me you will be fruitful. My ways will multiply within you. It is then you will sense your purpose. It is then that justice can be administered.  Learn to walk with me; You are blessed.

kingdom ways

For the kingdom of God does not consist in words, but in power.   1 Corinthians 4:20 (NASB)

Encouragement from the prophet Isaiah

I will make cedars, acacias, myrtles, and olive trees grow in the wilderness; I will make evergreens, firs, and cypresses grow together in the desert. I will do this so people will observe and recognize, so they will pay attention and understand that the Lord’s power has accomplished this, and that the Holy One of Israel has brought it into being.”   Isaiah 41:19-20 (NET)

the searching out

“ Or what woman, if she has ten silver coins and loses one of them, does not light a lamp, sweep the house, and search thoroughly until she finds it? Then when she has found it, she calls together her friends and neighbors, saying, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found the coin that I had lost.’   In the same way, I tell you, there is joy in the presence of God’s angels over one sinner who repents.”  Luke 15:8-10 (NET)

three cents

Again a familiar dream. I see three pennies lying on the road. I know they are for me. They are dirty and one is partially embedded in the warm road tar. I awake, remembering that scene. Again I see the same three pennies, knowing I’d seen them earlier. This time I remember picking them up. :end of dreams

no longer will your name be Jacob

So God made the expanse and separated the water under the expanse from the water above it. It was so.  God called the expanse "sky." There was evening, and there was morning, a second day. Genesis 1:7-8 (NET) As I walked this morning I could sense movement of God brooding within me. I sensed many human emotions churning openly; most, but not all were covered with an anxiety-like layer. It was most certainly a time of uncertainty. As I pondered what I had experienced two seemingly different verses came to mind. As I read them, the message became clear to me. We often forget the order of God as a creator. As family members his ways are passed along to us. Do not be surprised. I can accomplish much from what you  sense as chaos. Be open to the possibilities set before you. See what I've got to accomplish comes after what you feel as the darkest time. Daylight follows the night sky.     Do not be weary and give up. My light shines brightest in the darkness.  I was

is it time?

Sing aloud to God our strength; shout for joy to the God of Jacob! Raise a song, sound the timbrel, the sweet lyre with the harp. Blow the trumpet at the new moon, at the full moon, on our feast day. For it is a statute for Israel, an ordinance of the God of Jacob. He made it a decree in Joseph, when he went out over the land of Egypt. I hear a voice I had not known: Psalm 81:1-5 (RSV)

awaiting with an expectation

For the creation eagerly waits for the revelation of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility — not willingly but because of God who subjected it — in hope that the creation itself will also be set free from the bondage of decay into the glorious freedom of God’s children. For we know that the whole creation groans and suffers together until now. Not only this, but we ourselves also, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we eagerly await our adoption, the redemption of our bodies. For in hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope, because who hopes for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with endurance. Romans 8:19-25 (NET)

a word please…

Father, Please send me conversation from you. I can use encouragement that you are directing me.

the work and wisdom of God

He draws up drops of water; they distill the rain into its mist, which the clouds pour down and shower on humankind abundantly. Who can understand the spreading of the clouds, the thunderings of his pavilion? See how he scattered his lightning about him; he has covered the depths of the sea. It is by these that he judges the nations and supplies food in abundance. With his hands he covers the lightning, and directs it against its target. His thunder announces the coming storm, the cattle also, concerning the storm’s approach.                        Job 36:27-33 (NET)

in prayer…

‘Call on me in prayer and I will answer you. I will show you great and mysterious things which you still do not know about.’ Jeremiah 33:3 (NET)

lifting you

‘You yourselves have seen what I did to Egypt and how I lifted you on eagles' wings and brought you to myself.                       Exodus 19:4 (NET) Out of Egypt and into the kingdom. Yes, you are my prize. I have taken you out of the worldly darkness and I placed my light within you. I have called you into my ways. You will not be satisfied with the things of your past. I have placed a hunger within you. It is a holy discontent so you might draw closer to me.  It is my will that you mature in the giftings I have placed within you. I am honing you; molding you so you will not crumble under the coming pressures. I have brought you out so they may see my mighty hand of mercy. There is nothing I want more than the maturing of the bride. You are my prize, so do not be surprised at what I shall show you. I need to create trust within you, so you might mover ever-closer to me in all aspects of your life.

the real power source

[His] brilliance is like light; rays are flashing from His hand. This is where His power is hidden. Habakkuk 3:4 (HCSB)

Question to self

Question to self - “How am I doing?” Based on the gift they have received, everyone should use it to serve others, as good managers of the varied grace of God. If anyone speaks, [his speech should be] like the oracles of God; if anyone serves, [his service should be] from the strength God provides, so that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To Him belong the glory and the power forever and ever. Amen.                      1 Peter 4:10-11 (HCSB)

available grace

This is so that God’s multi-faceted wisdom may now be made known through the church to the rulers and authorities in the heavens. This is according to the purpose of the ages, which He made in the Messiah, Jesus our Lord, in whom we have boldness, access, and confidence through faith in Him. Ephesians 3:10-12 (HCSB)

what I have for you

‘Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.' Isaiah 41:10 (NASB) Look about what I have for you. As far as your eye can see or you might think to imagine. I've given it all to you. I have given you dominion. Do not limit what you think you can do in my kingdom. My grace is upon you. Great grace flows from you to the world around you as you share me. Don't fear what you think others are saying or what you see of your past for I shall surely help you. Take that step. I will direct you into what I have for you.

things great and small

09/07/09 In my walk I came across a dying squirrel. I would not have noticed it if the dogs had not paused where they did.  I noticed a bad smell and looked about to see the squirrel lying, huddled in a ball. I could see the flies upon it. All the squirrel could do was barely raise its head, and weakly shake the tail to attempt to wave off the flies. I walked away, so the dogs would not want to investigate. My initial thought was how to put the squirrel out of its mercy. I wondered what I might do and asked for God's mercy upon the squirrel. I was struck at the conflicting spheres which still must be within me when the mercy of man related to destruction. It was then I thanked God and prayed for the restoration of the squirrel. The heavens belong to the Lord, but the earth he has given to mankind. Psalm 115:16 (NET) you appoint them to rule over your creation; you have placed everything under their authority, including all the sheep and cattle, as well as the wild animals,

deliverance

I will certainly gather all of you, O Jacob, I will certainly assemble those Israelites who remain. I will bring them together like sheep in a fold, like a flock in the middle of a pasture; they will be so numerous that they will make a lot of noise. The one who can break through barriers will lead them out they will break out, pass through the gate, and leave. Their king will advance before them, The Lord himself will lead them. Micah 2:12-13 (NET)

2020 vision

In the morning they got up early and went out to the wilderness of Tekoa. As they were about to go out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, “Hear me, Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem. Believe in the Lord your God, and you will be established; believe in His prophets, and you will succeed.”  2 Chronicles 20:20 (HCSB)

listen and receive revelation

Look, my earlier predictive oracles have come to pass; now I announce new events. Before they begin to occur, I reveal them to you.”  Isaiah 42:9 (NET)

flying above

I saw an army of eagles. They were high above, flying in formation. I could see a look of focus and determination in their eyes. At one point a particular eagle pointed out the enemy who was directly beneath them. He vocalized he wished to break formation and attack the enemy. But the leader spoke otherwise. Instead, he took the formation up to a higher plane. He explained it was not their mission to attack, but he did send messengers back with what had been observed.

need understanding?

I gain understanding from your precepts; therefore I hate every wrong path. Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path. Psalm 119:104-105 (NIV)

responsibility

The highest heavens belong to the Lord, but the earth he has given to man. Psalm 115:16 (NIV)

flat-bottomed boats

September is a month of transitions. This year will be no different.. While those of the world see the summer leaving as the beginning of cooler weather and falling leaves. God is saying something different. With which are you in agreement? I heard the father speak of births and flat-bottomed boats. Just as each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of the varied grace of God. 1 Peter 4:10 (NET) This is a season of endings and new beginnings. The month of new births has come upon you. In this ninth month the water shall break and birth will arrive. There are those of you who feel they have go spiritual gift. This is a lie.  Within each of you I have planted what is needed for this time.  You see the deep waters and wonder how you can navigate the rising waves. You measure yourself against others, those sea-going vessels, coming to a wrong conclusion. You will carry my word and healing. I have created you unique. Look and see the small and shallow wa
