What profit is an idol when its maker has shaped it, a metal image, a teacher of lies? For the workman trusts in his own creation when he makes dumb idols! Habakkuk 2:18 (RSV) What advantage then hath the Jew? or what is the profit of circumcision? Romans 3:1 (ASV) All who make idols are nothing, and what they treasure does not profit. Their witnesses do not see or know ⌊anything⌋, so they will be put to shame. Who makes a god or casts a metal image for no profit? Tuesday evening as I was walking the dogs I asked God if I could have something I would know was from Him. I didn't really care what it might be, but just some type of confirmation of his working within my life. That night I had several very similar dreams They were the same dream I've had for years. It was one in which I was finding change/coins all over the ground. I saw myself (actually participated) in the picking up of many coins. There were so many I could not count them. This time though they were in and on fine beach-like sand. I have yet to have a firm understanding of why these dreams. I understand that recurring dreams typically repeat so the message is grasped. I realize he's making many changes or has given me my 2 cents (this time several times over), but internally I know there is more. I do note that others most often do not see these coins and I also bend down to pick them up. I too am always excited to find them (in real-life finding too).

Sometimes we try to make God too complicated. Yesterday I had asked God what I could say and he immediately replied, "I love you". Shortly later at the end of the church service, pastor was standing up front with his arms opened wide and said, "God loves you".  Again I could sense the rush of acceptance. It is that acceptance now that I proclaim to you. God says, "I love you".

The Father dearly loves the Son and discloses to (shows) Him everything that He Himself does. And He will disclose to Him (let Him see) greater things yet than these, so that you may marvel and be full of wonder and astonishment. John 5:20 (AMP)

When they go into the tent of meeting, or when they come near the altar to minister, to burn an offering by fire to the LORD, they shall wash with water, lest they die. They shall wash their hands and their feet, lest they die: it shall be a statute for ever to them, even to him and to his descendants throughout their generations." Exodus 30:20-21 (RSV) There is no time for fear and accusation. It is time for my people to be cleansed. Spend time and wash in the water of my Spirit. Cleanse yourself, removing the crude of every day life.  Come before me in right motive so that I can answer your petition. Wash yourself fully so you might live. The laver sits before your tent of meeting. It's size is determined only by those who refuse to come. It's effect is limitless like the love of my son. Wash yourself in his ways. Place your heart under his water.

Sing for joy, O heavens, and exult, O earth; break forth, O mountains, into singing! For the LORD has comforted his people, and will have compassion on his afflicted. Isaiah 49:13 (RSV)
