ways of the Spirit

The wind blows where it wants to and you hear the sound of it, but you don’t know where the wind comes from or where it is going. It is the same with every person who is born from the Spirit.“ John 3:8 (NCV)

It was appropriate

Then the father said to him, ‘Son, you are always with me, and everything that belongs to me is yours. It was appropriate to celebrate and be glad, for your brother was dead, and is alive; he was lost and is found.’” Luke 15:31-32 (NET)

have you asked yet?

Jesus answered and said to her, "If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, 'Give Me a drink,' you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water." John 4:10 (NKJV)

growing in confidence

And this is the confidence that we have before him: that whenever we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us in regard to whatever we ask, then we know that we have the requests that we have asked from him. 1 John 5:14-15 (NET)

Open your heart

Open your heart. Make room for me, that I, the king of glory may come in. I am more than the small slices of your current recognition. Allow my fullness to dwell within you. How much more my glorious riches, than the hope of glory you now realize. Open the gates of your life that I may enter. I am more than you have yet imagined. Allow me to prepare you for what is to come. Lift up your heads and gaze onto me. Rise up from your current ways and be confident in my ways. I am the King of Glory. I am calling you unto me. I have prepared the way that you may come unto me. Draw nearer. Do not stop at the base of my mountain. Begin the ascent of my holy hill. Open your heart unto my ways and I will wash away the obstacles which cloud your vision. I will cleanse you. Make room for me in your life, that my fullness may enter your heart. Who is allowed to ascend the mountain of the Lord? Who may go up to his holy dwelling place? The one whose deeds are blameless and whose motives ar

hope for the hopeless

When God saw their actions — they turned from their evil way of living! — God relented concerning the judgment he had threatened them with and he did not destroy them. Jonah 3:10 (NET)

look inside

For God did not give us a Spirit of fear but of power and love and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7 (NET)

What are you waiting for?

What are you waiting for? Have no fear for I have equipped you. My Spirit is directing and encouraging you to step out. Become apart of what I have created for you. The commission is simple: Get Out. In relying upon me you will be more than sufficient. Reach out, believing I am with you. Walk firm in what I have planted within you. Do not allow my seed to go to waste. I have placed no limitation on what I can do through you. Yes, you have my approval. Now step into what I have created for you. Move into the reality of my promises. If there is still any doubt, Yes this word is for you. "Keep asking, and it will be given to you. Keep searching, and you will find. Keep knocking, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who searches finds, and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. Matthew 7:7-8 (HCSB)

to comfort others

Blessed is the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles so that we may be able to comfort those experiencing any trouble with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (NET)

His ways

The Lord is close to those who are of a broken heart and saves such as are crushed with sorrow for sin and are humbly and thoroughly penitent. Many evils confront the [consistently] righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all. Psalm 34:18-19 (AMP )

All that I have is yours

I had been praying in bed one recent night, talking with God when I was next in a twilight sleep. I heard him speak to me, "What do you see?" Instinctively I opened my eyes and said, "The door is open." I felt this flood of peace pass through me and I thanked him. A few days later I asked him again about the open door and it's application when I heard Jesus say. Allow me to be your example, for within me is life. I have successfully traversed from life though death and into life again.  I have gone through the doorway ahead of you. Eternal life is yours. Healing is your inheritance. Come to me and learn rest. My ways have not changed. Take my yoke. Allow me to direct your journey. Allow my spirit to work it's way within you. Learn from me. Let me become your example. All that I have is yours.

angelic protection

The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them. Psalm 34:7 (NIV)

righteous advantages

The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their cry; the face of the Lord is against those who do evil, to cut off the memory of them from the earth. The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. Psalm 34:15-17 (NIV)

This is what the Lord says:

“Don’t let the wise boast in their wisdom, or the powerful boast in their power, or the rich boast in their riches. But those who wish to boast should boast in this alone: that they truly know me and understand that I am the Lord who demonstrates unfailing love and who brings justice and righteousness to the earth, and that I delight in these things. I, the Lord, have spoken! Jeremiah 9:23-24 (NLT)

a better place to be

Even young lions sometimes lack food and are hungry, but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing. Psalm 34:10 (NET)

the third day

On the morning of the third day there were thunders and lightnings and a thick cloud on the mountain and a very loud trumpet blast, so that all the people in the camp trembled. Then Moses brought the people out of the camp to meet God, and they took their stand at the foot of the mountain. Now Mount Sinai was wrapped in smoke because the Lord had descended on it in fire. The smoke of it went up like the smoke of a kiln, and the whole mountain trembled greatly. And as the sound of the trumpet grew louder and louder, Moses spoke, and God answered him in thunder. The Lord came down on Mount Sinai, to the top of the mountain. And the Lord called Moses to the top of the mountain, and Moses went up. Exodus 19:16-20 (ESV)

Ever feel like giving up?

Well, never trust your own feelings. They change with the circumstances of life, but God is never-changing. He delights in you. I sought the Lord, and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears. Those who look to him are radiant, and their faces shall never be ashamed. This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him and saved him out of all his troubles. The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them. Psalm 34:4-7 (ESV) This angel of the Lord can be found throughout scripture. It is a wonderful thing when you are God’s friend.

I have gone before you

"The breaker goes up before them; They break out, pass through the gate, and go out by it. So their king goes on before them, And the Lord at their head." Micah 2:13 (NASB77) Look for me. I have gone on before you. Expect to recognize my ways more so in the next two weeks. I will show myself.  Be prepared. Be more active in listening for me. Let thee be an expectation to ask and receive. Enjoy yourself. I am not calling you to dour judgment. Relax in me and see if I will not amaze you. Speak my name aloud, led it be heard in blessing those around you. I am tightening things so you might evaluate your reactions. These next two weeks are important for your growth in kingdom ways. Pass through, as I  have gone before you.

place your hope in me

Listen to me, you who know what is right, you people who are aware of my law! Don’t be afraid of the insults of men; don’t be discouraged because of their abuse! Isaiah 51:7 (NET)

how is your vision?

Moreover, the word of the Lord came to me, saying, Jeremiah, what do you see? And I said, I see a branch or shoot of an almond tree [the emblem of alertness and activity, blossoming in late winter]. Then said the Lord to me, You have seen well, for I am alert and active, watching over My word to perform it.     Jeremiah 1:11-12 (AMP)
