is this you?

Jesus answered: In all truth I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God without being born from above. John 3:3 (NJB)

don’t give up

“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. Is there anyone among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? If you then, although you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! In everything, treat others as you would want them to treat you, for this fulfills the law and the prophets. Matthew 7:7-12 (NET)

Fresh bread is available

While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and after giving thanks he broke it, gave it to his disciples, and said, "Take, eat, this is my body." Matthew 26:26 (NET) As church was ending today I heard God speak something into my mind. I clearly heard him say, "Fresh bread is available."  Thinking over this word I was then aware of a picture being shown to my mind's-eye. It was that of honey being applied to a hand and forearm. I could see that there was a healing taking place, as that honey was applied. He told me the honey was representative of his presence. If we allow the substance of his presence be applied to our lives, healing would come. My mind again comes back to the spoken work, "There is bread available."  While I sense it is for me, I doubt God is limiting it, but is rather opening it to any/all who would come and eat of the bread of life. It too reminded me of a night vision he had given me a previous year. I was climbing up a snow

wonder

And all who heard it wondered at what the shepherds told them.  But Mary treasured up all these things, pondering them in her heart.  And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all they had heard and seen, as it had been told them. Luke 2:18-20 (ESV)

A Christmas Word for You

Good new is to be shared. It will flow from your inner parts outward to others in need of what I've placed within you. Today my son is renewing hope for all peoples and nations in all situations. Today my son is celebrating with his brothers and sister

Christmas thoughts

Christmas time means many things to us over he years of our lives, some more traditional than others. This year though, I've taken a different look at the familiar. Here are a few thoughts relating to the Christmas story. You may likely have a list of your own applications. -- While I change, the message will not change. For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all people. Titus 2:11 (NET) -- I can expect the supernatural to be apart of and more common in my life. The angel replied, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. Therefore the child to be born will be holy; he will be called the Son of God. Luke 1:35 (NET) -- I should not always expect to understand things. But Mary treasured up all these words, pondering in her heart what they might mean. Luke 2:19 (NET); Matthew 1:20 -- Despite my own internal issues, it is still good to be with family. In those days Mary got up and went hur

from a psalm of Asaph

Let Your hand be upon the man of Your right hand, upon the son of man whom You have made strong for Yourself. Then will we not depart from You; revive us (give us life) and we will call upon Your name. Restore us, O Lord God of hosts; cause Your face to shine [in pleasure, approval, and favor on us], and we shall be saved! Psalm 80:17-19 (AMP)

another set of paradigms

Late this afternoon I stopped at a store before taking the dogs for our walk. On the way to the car I saw a dime. As I reached to pick it up, I saw another. I bent over picking them up simultaneously, one in each hand. I heard myself say, "Another set of paradigms." I wondered what God may want to be saying. We went onto our walk. As soon as we got out of the car we heard a train passing. Both the dogs and myself are fascinated to see them pass by. As we walked a bit, we came across two parked cars, the people were sitting on the picnic table talking as we walked by. Unusual I thought, as it was cold to be sitting/chatting outside. Further along, the dogs are excitedly barking. Two adult whitetail deer run across our pathway. They stop a safe distance away from us and look at the dogs who are still barking at them. Now we are walking back to the car, and there is another train. It caught my mind again, there were several "pairs" today. Two dimes, two dogs, t

the Christmas gift

And the Word (Christ) became flesh (human, incarnate) and tabernacled (fixed His tent of flesh, lived awhile) among us; and we [actually] saw His glory (His honor, His majesty), such glory as an only begotten son receives from his father, full of grace (favor, loving-kindness) and truth. John 1:14 (AMP)

I will bring you back

Then you will call upon Me, and you will come and pray to Me, and I will hear and heed you. Then you will seek Me, inquire for, and require Me [as a vital necessity] and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you, says the Lord, and I will release you from captivity and gather you from all the nations and all the places to which I have driven you, says the Lord, and I will bring you back to the place from which I caused you to be carried away captive. Jeremiah 29:12-14 (AMP)

the revealed light

Then Jesus spoke out again, “I am the light of the world. The one who follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” John 8:12 (NET)

a short word

Sometimes we can receive a word from God and do nothing with it. That is not what he wants. We have instruction, "Pursue love, yet desire earnestly spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy. For one who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God; for no one understands, but in his spirit he speaks mysteries. But one who prophesies speaks to men for edification and exhortation and consolation. One who speaks in a tongue edifies himself; but one who prophesies edifies the church. 1 Corinthians 14:1-4 (NASB). Hence I apologize for holding onto this short word I had r eceived. I want to bring change. I invite you to participate with me.

my food for thought: then, now and later

Recently I was reading, sitting at my computer when I heard the Father-God speak to me. It was but one sentence, for which I knew I was to think over. He asked, “What do you want to do?” I was drawn back to another time when several years prior. He gave me a verse through the time of my clock as I was driving to a conference. He asked, What time is it?” I had to look. I said, it is 6:27. I knew there was a very specific 6:27 verse for me. And for some unknown reason I knew it was in Jeremiah. I read Jeremiah 6:27 several times in different translations to see what I might glean. It was when I read from George M. Lamsa’s translation (1934, A. J. Holman Company). I was taken back to that verse in relation to the question. I have set you as a seer among my great people, that you may know and understand their ways.” Jeremiah 6:27. It took several years for me to any any internal thoughts as to what he was initially asking/saying to me.

the way of knowing

You have heard; now look at all the evidence! Will you not admit that what I say is true? From this point on I am announcing to you new events that are previously unrevealed and you do not know about. Now they come into being, not in the past; before today you did not hear about them, so you could not say, ‘Yes, I know about them.’   Isaiah 48:6-7 (NET)

generational sharing

O my people, hear my teaching; listen to the words of my mouth. I will open my mouth in parables, I will utter hidden things, things from of old-- what we have heard and known, what our fathers have told us. We will not hide them from their children; we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, his power, and the wonders he has done. Psalm 78:1-4 (NIV)

an attitude

Each of you should be concerned not only about your own interests, but about the interests of others as well. You should have the same attitude toward one another that Christ Jesus had, who though he existed in the form of God did not regard equality with God as something to be grasped, but emptied himself by taking on the form of a slave, by looking like other men, and by sharing in human nature. Philippians 2:4-7 (NET)

the question

The question remains valid. It matters not what others think or say, or even Peter’s answer. You alone must experience the answer before it can be answered. He asked them, “But who do you say that I am?” Peter answered him, “You are the Christ.”  Mark 8:29 (NET)

giving away

What are you giving away? Don't hold onto what I have given you, but share it. Let me multiply upon the earth. Give it away. Show your good fortune and gifting, so you can have more. Don't be bound by self-expectations. Free yourself and rely upon me. Learn what to give away and what to keep. Give in to the pleasures of experiencing me.

keys and responsibility

So pray this way: Our Father in heaven, may your name be honored, may your kingdom come, may your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Matthew 6:9-10 (NET) I'm sure I'm not the only person whose heard "bad" teaching on the concept of  binding and loosing. I was listening to a teaching and the topic came about. It brought a new, clean light to my mind. If Jesus calls them the keys of the kingdom (Matthew 16:19), they are important concepts for us to grasp and practice. What I heard today was like this, "If it does not exist in heaven, it should not be permitted to exist on earth. But if it does exist in heaven, then we should be practicing it on the earth". The responsibility is ours. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven. Whatever you bind on earth will have been bound in heaven, and whatever you release on earth will have been released in heaven."  Matthew 16:19 (NET)
