I am sending you

The LORD turned to him and said, "You will rescue Israel from Midian with the strength you have. I am sending you."  Judges 6:14 (GW) I am sending you. Wherever you set your feet I will be. As you walk from your car to work or around your neighbor. As you shop for groceries or are walking about the mall I am with you. Yes, I am sending you. You are the beacon of hope that many are searching. My light and life are within you in abundance. I am sending you to share me. Ask me and I will tell you to whom to speak. There are those that need a word of encouragement.  Many need a simple prayer for healing the situation as they see it. Do not be overwhelmed for I am the one yet still in charge. I am sending you to those who are in a time of personal darkness. I will identify them if you are willing to remove the veil and let my light to shine. I am sending you. Are you willing to respond?

secret things

Secret things belong to the LORD our God, but those that are revealed belong to us and our descendants forever, so that we might obey all the words of this law. Deuteronomy 29:29 (NET)

come through

Come through! Come through the gates! Prepare the way for the people! Build it! Build the roadway! Remove the stones! Lift a signal flag for the nations! Isaiah 62:10 (NET)

earth day

The LORD owns the earth and all it contains, the world and all who live in it. For he set its foundation upon the seas, and established it upon the ocean currents. Psalms 24:1-2 (NET)

Consider: What are you chasing after?

Pursue love and be eager for the spiritual gifts, especially that you may prophesy. For the one speaking in a tongue does not speak to people but to God, for no one understands; he is speaking mysteries by the Spirit. 1 Corinthians 14:1-2 (NET)

supernatural transportation

Now as they were going along the road, they came to some water, and the eunuch said, “Look, there is water! What is to stop me from being baptized?” So he ordered the chariot to stop, and both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water, and Philip baptized him. Now when they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord snatched Philip away, and the eunuch did not see him any more, but went on his way rejoicing. Philip, however, found himself at Azotus, and as he passed through the area, he proclaimed the good news to all the towns until he came to Caesarea.  Acts 8:36-40 (NET)

awakening my people

Now Mount Sinai was completely covered with smoke because the LORD had descended on it in fire, and its smoke went up like the smoke of a great furnace, and the whole mountain shook violently. Exodus 19:18 (NET) I am awakening my people to recognize me. Rivers of living water will wash over you, releasing what is needed. Waters will overflow their banks. New channels are created as I approach. You must awaken now. My spirit is moving across the face of the deep. It is blowing away the chaff. There is a ripping away of the dry dead branches. That which is not built upon my ways and with my material will be removed, broke off. Do not find what you value cast into the fire. For it will be lost. Suddenly there was a severe earthquake, for an angel of the Lord descending from heaven came and rolled away the stone and sat on it. His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow. Matthew 28:2-3 (NET) I am breaking up the fallow ground, preparing for the harve

recognition

When they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and discovered that they were uneducated and ordinary men, they were amazed and recognized these men had been with Jesus. Acts 4:13 (NET) I speak into your life, recognition of Him. Recognition which blossoms into a mentoring friendship.  He will grant you truth and life which you can share with others.. And as you share your portion enlarges. You will recognize whom you are only through Him.

Have your fill today?

“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you; I do not give it to you as the world does. Do not let your hearts be distressed or lacking in courage. John 14:27 (NET)

…it is in your mouth and in your mind so that you can do it

“Look! I have set before you today life and prosperity on the one hand, and death and disaster on the other. What I am commanding you today is to love the LORD your God, to walk in his ways, and to obey his commandments, his statutes, and his ordinances. Then you will live and become numerous and the LORD your God will bless you in the land which you are about to possess. Deuteronomy 30:15-16 (NET )

part of Jacob’s allotment

Like an eagle that stirs up its nest, that hovers over its young, so the LORD spread out his wings and took him, he lifted him up on his pinions. Deuteronomy 32:11 (NET)

along with me

Come along with me. Experience the freedom I offer. Follow me and learn to see with new eyes and a renewed heart. I will show you many things which are in store. I will help you experience first-hand the love He has for you. He sees you as precious. Allow me show you the living word, so you might drink deeply of the living water and eat freely at the table set before you. I will take you into the heavenly places of worship. Come along with me high above the earthly realm.  The things of your past will fall away and you will arise renewed upon my wings. The wind blows wherever it will, and you hear the sound it makes, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit." John 3:8 (NET)

pour out upon us now…

This desolation will continue until new life is poured out on us from heaven. Then the desert will become an orchard and the orchard will be considered a forest. Justice will settle down in the desert and fairness will live in the orchard. Fairness will produce peace and result in lasting security. Isaiah 32:15-17 (NET)

How about you?

Then he appeared to the eleven themselves, while they were eating, and he rebuked them for their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen him resurrected.         Mark 16:14 (NET)

towards the goal

Yes, I will go further: because of the supreme advantage of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, I count everything else as loss. For him I have accepted the loss of all other things, and look on them all as filth if only I can gain Christ and be given a place in him, with the uprightness I have gained not from the Law, but through faith in Christ, an uprightness from God, based on faith, that I may come to know him and the power of his resurrection, and partake of his sufferings by being molded to the pattern of his death, striving towards the goal of resurrection from the dead. Not that I have secured it already, nor yet reached my goal, but I am still pursuing it in the attempt to take hold of the prize for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Philippians 3:8-12 (NJB)

For you

For you I was beaten and crucified. My body was torn and blood-spattered, For you I watched as my son was brutally attacked and raised upon the cross. For you I died and was buried. For you he was hidden away for three days, as was always our plan. Yes, and for you I was raised anew in a resurrected body. He was raised from the dead after fulfilling the requirements of my law. He carried the full weight of sin and willingly suffered the consequences so you might have life. Yes, for you there is now life when all else may seem dead. No more penalty for you who accept the new life. For you my Holy Spirit has been released and fulfilling is available. You are now partakers of my table and all I have is available to you. For you is the opportunity to sit with him in the heavenly places. This day, this time and hour are for you. I placed you here now, so others might know me through what I shall do through you. He is not here, for he has risen, as he said he would. Mat

between then and now

Let us keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, who leads us in our faith and brings it to perfection: for the sake of the joy which lay ahead of him, he endured the cross, disregarding the shame of it, and has taken his seat at the right of God's throne. Hebrews 12:2 (NJB)

the self-foretelling

While Jesus was going up to Jerusalem, he took the twelve disciples aside by themselves, and said to them on the way, "See, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be handed over to the chief priests and scribes, and they will condemn him to death; then they will hand him over to the Gentiles to be mocked and flogged and crucified; and on the third day he will be raised." Matthew 20:17-19 (NRSV)
