My Shadow of Hope

A stream flowed in Eden and watered the garden; beyond Eden it divided into four rivers. The first river is the Pishon; it flows around the country of Havilah. ( Pure gold is found there and also rare perfume and precious stones.) The second river is the Gihon; it flows around the country of Cush. The third river is the Tigris, which flows east of Assyria, and the fourth river is the Euphrates. Then the Lord God placed the man in the Garden of Eden to cultivate it and guard it. Genesis 2:10-15 (GNT) I am the provider. I still bring refreshing to my people. Come to me and see if I will not yet provide all which you need. Stop the rush of your day and find peace and rest in being beneath my shadow of hope. Be found doing what I’ve called you to be doing.

Available To You

I will prove to you, then, that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins. So he said to the paralyzed man, I tell you, get up, pick up your mat, and go home! ‭‭Mark‬ ‭2‬:‭10‬-‭11‬ ‭(GNT‬‬) I have given you my authority. Now go, and do those things which I have done. Heal the sick and bring hope to those who are lacking. Don’t be stingy, but spread the good news of my coming. Bring freedom into the lives of those I show you. Allow my love to cover and heal them. Whatever is mine has been made available to you.

I Am

When you are unsure, I am the example for you to follow. In my time I would go to the Father. Be at rest, I will answer your questions and prayers. Reach out and pray for their inner healing. They need to know my love, I will refill you with my wholeness and peace. Wherever you go I can guide you.

Strike the Ground

At this time Elisha became sick. Before he died, Jehoash king of Israel went to Elisha and cried for him. Jehoash said, “My father, my father! The chariots of Israel and their horsemen!” Elisha said to Jehoash, “Take a bow and arrows.” So he took a bow and arrows. Then Elisha said to him, “Put your hand on the bow.” So Jehoash put his hand on the bow. Then Elisha put his hands on the king’s hands. Elisha said, “Open the east window.” So Jehoash opened the window. Then Elisha said, “Shoot,” and Jehoash shot. Elisha said, “The Lord’s arrow of victory over Aram! You will defeat the Arameans at Aphek until you destroy them.” Elisha said, “Take the arrows.” So Jehoash took them. Then Elisha said to him, “Strike the ground.” So Jehoash struck the ground three times and stopped. The man of God was angry with him. “You should have struck five or six times!” Elisha said. “Then you would have struck Aram until you had completely destroyed it. But now you will defeat it only three times.”” ‭‭2 Ki

What Are You Asking?

What are you asking? Don’t be in such a rush, but learn from my ways. I will prod you when you need to be act. I will show you what you need to minister my love. I will reveal more of me as you seek to know me. You will learn my heart and you move when I prompt you. Believe and act upon what I’ve shown you. I am ever-with you.

For Lydia

Don’t be withdrawn. Come back and sit with me. Allow me to bring the necessary healing. Bask in my forgiveness. It is always available. Don’t permit the enemy to bring up the past shame. I have forgiven you. Now step up to the place I have called you to. Walk into that place of helping others, as I have done for you. My love remains for you. Come and again sit with me.

Proper Vision

Yesterday a bright and shiny penny found in my pathway. It’s date was 2020. Time for corrected and proper vision. They got up early in the morning and went to the desert of Tekoa. As they were leaving, Jehoshaphat stopped and said, Listen to me, people of Judah and those living in Jerusalem. Trust the Lord your God, and believe. Believe his prophets, and you will succeed. ‭‭2 Chronicles‬ ‭20‬:‭20‬ ‭(GW)

My Word

Stop and reach-out for me. I am standing in front of you. Stop and listen for my guiding direction. I am speaking life and wholeness into the sore -spots of your life. Allow me to release the healing you need. Reach out and touch those I am bringing to you. Touch them with my word and compassion.

With Open Eyes

When the servant of the man of God got up early  the next morning and went outside, there were troops,  horses, and chariots everywhere.  “Oh, sir, what will we do now?”  the young man cried to Elisha.  “Don’t be afraid!” Elisha told him.  “For there are more on our side than on theirs!”  Then Elisha prayed,  “O Lord, open his eyes and let him see!”  The Lord opened the young man’s eyes, and when  he looked up, he saw that the hillside around Elisha  was filled with horses and chariots of fire.” 2 Kings 6:15-17 (NLT) Don’t hesitate to ask me. I will open your eyes to what need be seen. I will show you the things which  you need to know in enlarging my kingdom. I have covered you in my love and instruction. Now you should share my heart and be busy in doing what I have for you to do.

Ever With You

Can you hear me? I am calling to you. I am speaking your name so you may recognize what I’ve called you to be doing. Listen for my leading. You can follow my heart in obeying what I’ve placed within you. I am whispering to you, so you might search for my ways. Fear not for I AM is ever-near to you, ever-with you.

Take Your Son

When Elisha arrived at the house, there was the child lying dead on his bed. He went in by himself and closed the door. Then he prayed to the Lord. He got up on the bed and spread his body out over the boy; he put his mouth on the boy’s mouth, his eyes over the boy’s eyes, and the palms of his hands against the boy’s palms. He bent down over him, and the boy’s skin grew warm. Elisha went back and walked around in the house. Then he got up on the bed again and bent down over him. The child sneezed seven times and opened his eyes. Elisha called to Gehazi and said, “Get the Shunammite woman.” So he did so and she came to him. He said to her, “Take your son.” She came in, fell at his feet, and bowed down. Then she picked up her son and left.” ‭‭2 Kings‬ ‭4‬:‭32‬-‭37‬ ‭(NET‬‬)

Here With You

The Messenger of the Lord told him, “Take the meat and the unleavened bread, put them on this rock, and pour the broth over them.” Gideon did so. Then the Messenger of the Lord touched the meat and the bread with the tip of the staff that was in his hand. Fire flared up from the rock and burned the meat and the bread. Then the Messenger of the Lord disappeared. That’s when Gideon realized that this had been the Messenger of the Lord. So he said, “Lord God! I have seen the Messenger of the Lord face to face. ‭‭Judges‬ ‭6‬:‭20‬-‭22‬ ‭(GW‬‬) Listen for me. What do you hear? Allow my words to penetrate into your life. Allow them to continually guide you. Expect me. I am here with you.

Blockages

Then the Messenger of the Lord touched the meat  and the bread with the tip of the staff that was in  his hand. Fire flared up from the rock and burned  the meat and the bread.  Then the Messenger of the Lord disappeared. ‭‭Judges‬ ‭6‬:‭21‬ ‭(GW‬‬) Don’t be blocked by the ways of the enemy. In me is the creativity and freedom which you seek. In me is life. I have more for you as you continue to follow me. I will open up dreams and vistas to and for you.

Be Listening

Elijah found Elisha, son of Shaphat. Elisha was plowing behind 12 pairs of oxen. He was using the twelfth pair. Elijah took off his coat and put it on Elisha. So Elisha left the oxen, ran after Elijah, and said, “Please let me kiss my father and mother goodbye. Then I will follow you.” “Go back,” Elijah answered him. “I’m not stopping you.” Elisha left him, took two oxen, and butchered them. He boiled the meat, using the oxen’s yoke for firewood. He gave the meat to the people to eat. Then he left to follow and assist Elijah. ‭‭1 Kings‬ ‭19‬:‭19‬-‭21‬ ‭(GW‬‬) Listen for the sound of my approaching. I will come upon you with direction and a Refreshing wind. Reach out. Capture whatr I have for you. It is time to put on the cape I have placed upon your life. I will be your covering. Allow me to guide you in new ways. You will speak my words of affirmation and blessing. Listen for me, as I call upon you.

Cover Yourself

When he looked, he saw near his head some bread baked on hot stones and a jar of water. So he ate, drank, and went to sleep again. The angel of the Lord came back and woke him up again. The angel said, “Get up and eat, or your journey will be too much for you.” He got up, ate, and drank. Strengthened by that food, he traveled for 40 days and nights until he came to Horeb, the mountain of God. There he went into a cave and spent the night. Then the Lord spoke his word to Elijah. He asked, “What are you doing here, Elijah?” 1 Kings 19:6-9 (GW) Don’t be fearful nor allow the arrows of the enemy to penetrate our relationship. I am there for you, despite what you may see or what you are told. I AM and will be ever-more than you will need. I will provide for you what you need for the journey. Don’t linger but be upon the pathway I will show you. Partake of my presence. Cover yourself in me and go.

Rested and Ready

Then Jezebel sent a messenger to Elijah. She said, “May the gods strike me dead if by this time tomorrow I don’t take your life the way you took the lives of Baal’s prophets.” Frightened, Elijah fled to save his life. He came to Beersheba in Judah and left his servant there. Then he traveled through the wilderness for a day. He sat down under a broom plant and wanted to die. “I’ve had enough now, Lord,” he said. “Take my life! I’m no better than my ancestors.” Then he lay down and slept under the broom plant. An angel touched him and said, “Get up and eat.”” 1 Kings 19:2-5 (GW) Don't allow the words of the enemy to find their target, but be rested and ready in me. I am yet your protector. I am your covering. My words are truth and light. Turn aside from the dark ways of the enemy in my fulness. Don’t be reacting nor lashing out, but be armed with the weapons I have provided you. Call out to me. Let me cover you. Be rested and ready in me.

Your Pathway or Mine?

A while later in the third year of the drought, the Lord spoke his word to Elijah: “Present yourself to Ahab. I will allow rain to fall on the ground.” So Elijah went to present himself to Ahab. ‭‭1 Kings‬ ‭18‬:‭1‬-‭2‬a ‭(GW‬‬) It’s time to stop trying to figure things out. I will guide you. Put your trust in me. Allow your faith to grow. Look out expectingly. I will show you what you need. I will place the people into your pathway.

Relearning to Fly

Have mercy on me, O God, have mercy! I look to you for protection. I will hide beneath the shadow of your wings until the danger passes by. Psalms 57:1 (NLT) But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint. ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭40‬:‭31‬ ‭(NLT‬‬) Draw closer. Come close and hide in my ways. I am your protection. Allow my shadow to become provision. Don’t be driven away by fear, but seek me. I am here for you. Come out again and re-learn to fly with me. Allow me to show you what you need to see. I will become all that you need. You will learn to walk in my protection.

Is This You?

I saw a small plane. It was parked at the back-end of a small runway. It was far away from the air-port busyness. There are some of you who have wished to be a plane, flying high above. But this is not your time. You are in that time of rest and repair. It is a time for learning what is important. You can watch, complaining in jealousy at the larger planes already taxying down for lift-off. Or you can get the necessary repairs and be readied for the time of your lift-off. The choice is yours to make. You can attempt to leave now and never get to the destination He has plans for you, or you can ready yourself for what is coming. You are parked in preparation for a new take-off.

Ashes... the rest of the story

The Rest of the Story An old prophet was living in Bethel. His sons told him everything  The man of God did in Bethel that day and the exact words he  had spoken to the king. When they told their father, he said to them, “Which road did he take?” (His sons had seen which road the man  of God from Judah had taken.) The old prophet told his sons, “Saddle the donkey for me.” After they had saddled the donkey  for him, he got on it. He went after the man of God and found him sitting under an  oak tree.  The old prophet asked him, “Are you the man of God  who came from Judah?” “Yes,” he answered. “Come home with me, and eat a meal,” the old prophet replied. The man of God said, “I’m not allowed to go back with you. I’m not  allowed to eat or drink with you. When the Lord spoke to me, he  told me not to eat or drink there or go back on the road I took to  get there.” The old prophet said, “I’m also a prophet, like you. An angel spoke  the Lord’s word to me. He said, ‘Bring him home with you

The Answer

What are you learning about my heart? My ways are pure and true. With and through it comes all life. I am the answer you need for those life-issues and mistrust. I have redeemed you so you may see the fulness. You can reflect all that I am to the angry and dying world.

Ashes from the Altar

A man of God from Judah had come to Bethel. When he arrived, Jeroboam was standing at the altar to offer a sacrifice. By a command of the Lord, this man condemned the altar. “Altar, altar! This is what the Lord says: There will be a son born in David’s family line. His name will be Josiah. Here on you Josiah will sacrifice the priests from the illegal worship sites who offer sacrifices on you. Human bones will be burned on you.” That day the man of God also gave them a miraculous sign, saying,  “This is the sign that the Lord will give you: You will  see  the altar  torn apart. The ashes on it will be poured on the ground.” When King Jeroboam heard the man of God condemning the altar in Bethel, he pointed to the man across the altar. “Arrest him,”  he said.  But the arm that he used to point to the man of God  was paralyzed so that he couldn’t pull it back. The altar was torn  apart, and the ashes from the altar were poured on the ground.  This was the miraculous sign the man of God p

Never Changing

A man with a serious skin disease came and bowed down in front of him. The man said to Jesus, Sir, if you’re willing, you can make me clean. Jesus reached out, touched him, and said, I’m willing. So be clean! Immediately, his skin disease went away, and he was clean. Matthew 8:2-3 (GW) I have not changed. I am reaching out to you. Be whole and filled with my light. My words are never changing.

Look Beyond

When Jesus saw the crowds, he went up a mountain and sat down. His disciples came to him, and he began to teach them: Matthew 5:1-2 (GW) Look beyond circumstances and look into my eyes. Allow my heart to guide you and give you the wisdom needed. Beyond the obvious is where you need be looking. I will release all that is needed if you ask in belief. I will take you to new places.

Come to Me

Can you hear me calling your name? How do you perceive me? What reaction do you have when I am near? Put aside fear, the lies of the enemy and become whole. I will bring healing. Those things I spoke to them, are yet there for you. Listen for me. Come to me believing. From that time Jesus began to preach his message: Turn away from your sins, because the Kingdom of heaven is near! Matthew 4:17 (GNT) As he was walking along the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon (called Peter) and Andrew. They were throwing a net  into the sea because they were fishermen. Jesus said to them, Come, follow me! I will teach you how to catch people instead of fish. Matthew 4:18-19 GW When Jesus saw the crowds, he went up a mountain and sat down. His disciples came to him, and he began to teach them: Matthew 5:1-2 (GW) Ask, and you will receive. Search, and you will find. Knock, and the door will be opened for you. Everyone who asks will receive. The one who searches will find, and for the one who kn

I Am There

Let your kingdom come. Let your will be done on earth as it is done in heaven. ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭10‬ ‭(GW‬‬) Listen for me. I am whispering your name. You can hear me. I am in the diversity of nature. I am ever-calling to you to identify with my heart. Seek me and I will be found. I am right there, with you in your daily walk. Are you listening?

There For You

Park yourself beneath the shadow of my wings. Let them enfold you in safety. Allow them to take you to the places you should see. Loosen your grip. Unload your frustration. If you listen, you can hear the sound of my whispering to you. Let go of what is not needed and embrace me. I AM there for you.

Take Off

Remove the blinders which are holding you down. Release them from your grip. Take off the fear and rise higher in me. Take off into where I would have you to go. I will provide what is needed. Move up into the air. Once again fly upon my eagle, Take off into what I have planted within you.

Firm and Upright

This is not the time to stop. I will nudge you when you should move onto the next group. I have more for you to accomplish and grow in this near-time. Rest secure in my Word. Let it fill you with hope and new direction. Re-read what I have spoken to you in the recent past. In it is more for you to absorb. Walk firm and upright with me.

Contributing

The Lord said to Moses, Tell the Israelites to choose something to give me as a special contribution. You must accept whatever contribution each person freely gives. Exodus 25:1-2 (GW) Believe and you will receive. Don’t hesitate to ask me. You either believe what I’ve told you or you don’t. Allow my direction and healing to become part of what you share with others. Receive what is rightfully yours.

Rough Spots

David and the army commanders appointed the sons of Asaph, Heman, and Jeduthun to serve as prophets with lyres, harps, and cymbals. This is the list of the men who performed this service: From the sons of Asaph were Zaccur, Joseph, Nethaniah, and Asharelah. (They were directed by Asaph, who served as a prophet under the king’s direction.)” ‭‭1 Chronicles‬ ‭25‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ (‭GW‬‬) Don’t rush through the rough spots in your life. Close your eyes and speak aloud your thanks. Let your ears hear what your mouth is saying. Then speak it back to me. I will bring you a cup of refreshing in those dry times. I will heal the wounds which are hindering you.

What Is Needed

Each of you must examine your own actions. Then you can be proud of your own accomplishments without comparing yourself to others. Assume your own responsibility. ‭‭Galatians‬ ‭6‬:‭4‬-‭5‬ ‭(GW‬‬) Examine where you are going. Be sure of your next step. Don’t be caught in the ways of the enemy. He would bring confusion and condemnation. Allow me to guide your way. Let my leading take you through the pathway I have for you. Seek me and I will show you what is needed.

Point Them

Pause. Wait to hear from me. All around you is my creation. From the beginning all things have been created. My image is embedded within. What thoughts and images have you been creating? What has your voice been speaking out? Don’t be in a rush, but continue each day to seek my heart and direction. Point them to my son.

To the Right Side

He told them, “Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some.” So they cast it there, and they were unable to haul it in because of the great number of fish.” John 21:6 (BSB) Listen for the sound of my voice and follow the leading. Don’t allow presumption. to be your guide. Learn my voice and ways. You will recognize what I have for you to be doing. I am there with you .

My Words and Ways

Rather, new wine is to be poured into fresh skins. ‭‭Luke‬ ‭5‬:‭38‬ ‭(GW‬‬) Do not give up, but allow me to strengthen you. I will lead you into the pathway of righteousness. I will bathe you in my waters. Look about you. I have created all your eyes can see. My ways are never-changing. My words continue to give truth and life. Seek them and be filled. Refresh yourself in me.
