Learn My Heart

When the apostles returned, they told Jesus everything they had done. Then he slipped quietly away with them toward the town of Bethsaida. But the crowds found out where he was going, and they followed him. He welcomed them and taught them about the Kingdom of God, and he healed those who were sick. Late in the afternoon the twelve disciples came to him and said, Send the crowds away to the nearby villages and farms, so they can find food and lodging for the night. There is nothing to eat here in this remote place. But Jesus said, “You feed them.” But we have only five loaves of bread and two fish, they answered. Or are you expecting us to go and buy enough food for this whole crowd? ‭‭Luke‬ ‭9:10-13‬ ‭NLT‬‬ Come and sit with me. Put away the self-expectations. Don’t let the noises and activity of every-day life distract you. Sit, believing I am there with you. Soak in my ever-present reality. Put away fear and allow me to bring healing into your life. Learn my heart. Do the works I h

prophets

Suppose there are prophets among you or those who dream dreams about the future, and they promise you signs or miracles, and the predicted signs or miracles occur. If they then say, ‘Come, let us worship other gods’ —gods you have not known before— do not listen to them. The Lord your God is testing you to see if you truly love him with all your heart and soul. Serve only the Lord your God and fear him alone. Obey his commands, listen to his voice, and cling to him. The false prophets or visionaries who try to lead you astray must be put to death, for they encourage rebellion against the Lord your God, who redeemed you from slavery and brought you out of the land of Egypt. Since they try to lead you astray from the way the Lord your God commanded you to live, you must put them to death. In this way you will purge the evil from among you. ‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭13:1-5‬ ‭(NLT‬‬)

Finding Rest

This is what the Lord says: “Stop at the crossroads and look around. Ask for the old, godly way, and walk in it. Travel its path, and you will find rest for your souls. But you reply, ‘No, that’s not the road we want!’” ‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭6:16‬ ‭(NLT‬‬) Don’t fear the winds nor words of the enemy. Focus upon what I have told you. I am yet The way of life. I will guide you into my righteousness. I will cover you with what is needed to bring my glory. Learn my names and you will know me.

What I show you

After another forty days, Noah opened the window he had made in the boat and released a raven. The bird flew back and forth until the floodwaters on the earth had dried up. He also released a dove to see if the water had receded and it could find dry ground. But the dove could find no place to land because the water still covered the ground. So it returned to the boat, and Noah held out his hand and drew the dove back inside. Genesis 8:6-9 NLT If you look for me, you will find me, but I might not seem as you expected. I am yet dropping clues so you might search for me. Pick-up on what I show you.

provision

So pay attention to how you hear. To those who listen to my teaching, more understanding will be given. But for those who are not listening, even what they think they understand will be taken away from them. Luke 8:18 (NLT) There is no place you can go that I am Not already there, creating a pathway for you. There is no enemy who can void the protection I have for you. Rely upon me and not what you feel or think you see. I am your way of escape. I am your provision.

What do You see?

But that is the time to be careful! Beware that in your plenty you do not forget the Lord your God and disobey his commands, regulations, and decrees that I am giving you today. For when you have become full and prosperous and have built fine homes to live in, and when your flocks and herds have become very large and your silver and gold have multiplied along with everything else, be careful! Do not become proud at that time and forget the Lord your God, who rescued you from slavery in the land of Egypt. Do not forget that he led you through the great and terrifying wilderness with its poisonous snakes and scorpions, where it was so hot and dry. He gave you water from the rock! He fed you with manna in the wilderness, a food unknown to your ancestors. He did this to humble you and test you for your own good. He did all this so you would never say to yourself, ‘I have achieved this wealth with my own strength and energy.’ Remember the Lord your God. He is the one who gives you power to

a white 4-paned window

Now we see things imperfectly, like puzzling reflections in a mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity. All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God now knows me completely. ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭13:12‬ ‭(NLT‬‬) Look out the window before you. There are things I wish you to see. Wipe clean the panes, so you miss none of the plans. Step closer into the available destiny.

Are You Listening?

For God speaks again and again, though people do not recognize it. He speaks in dreams, in visions of the night, when deep sleep falls on people as they lie in their beds. He whispers in their ears and terrifies them with warnings. He makes them turn from doing wrong; he keeps them from pride. He protects them from the grave, from crossing over the river of death. Job 33:14-18 (NLT)

what is right

Do what is right and good in the Lord’s sight, so all will go well with you. Then you will enter and occupy the good land that the Lord swore to give your ancestors. You will drive out all the enemies living in the land, just as the Lord said you would. Deuteronomy 6:18-19 (NLT) I am your hope and faithful covering. You can rely upon me. I am with you wherever you go. Learn the ways of my heart. They will guide you into all truth; righteousness will be your covering.

Rise Up

Rise up, O God, and scatter your enemies. Let those who hate God run for their lives. Blow them away like smoke. Melt them like wax in a fire. Let the wicked perish in the presence of God. But let the godly rejoice. Let them be glad in God’s presence. Let them be filled with joy. ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭68:1-3‬ ‭(NLT‬‬)

answers in life

In my distress I prayed to the Lord, and the Lord answered me and set me free. The Lord is for me, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me? Yes, the Lord is for me; he will help me. I will look in triumph at those who hate me. It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in people. It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in princes. Psalms 118:5-9 (NLT) Trust me, for I AM life. All that you see and all that you sense comes from me. You were perfectly created in my image. Walk in my ways and receive more. Are you ready? Seek out the secrets of my heart and be filled.

climbing mountains

The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it. The world and all its people belong to him. For he laid the earth’s foundation on the seas and built it on the ocean depths. Who may climb the mountain of the Lord? Who may stand in his holy place? Only those whose hands and hearts are pure, who do not worship idols and never tell lies. They will receive the Lord’s blessing and have a right relationship with God their savior. Such people may seek you and worship in your presence, O God of Jacob. Interlude Psalms 24:1-6 (NLT) Father-God, I thank you. Your goodness and protection surround me. You demonstrate your loving patience throughout my life-time. You grant inner-peace when all about seems in turmoil. Help me to clearly hear and submit to your direction. Help me to grow in your ways, as you are a Holy God. Turn my attitude to your pathway and let me not become lost. Help me to forever seek you. AMEN.

He is willing

While Jesus was in one of the towns, a man came to him who was covered with leprosy. When he saw Jesus, he bowed down with his face to the ground and begged him, “Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.” So he stretched out his hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing. Be clean!” And immediately the leprosy left him. ‭‭Luke‬ ‭5:12-13‬ ‭(NET‬‬) Put away the distractions and look for me. I am already there, awaiting your recognition. Allow my healing presence to hoover over you. Allow me to reach in and remove what is not from me. My way is what you are seeking. My ways are what you need. They are available to you. Are you available to me?

my creation

I am everywhere you look for me. If you listen, you can hear whenever I call your name. I am calling out for you to find me, hiding in plain sight. I am leading you into the path ff righteousness, as you are my creation.

Along the Way

If you watch for me you will find me. I am there, already with you, guiding you along the way. I have prepared the way for you to be used. I have hidden clues in plain site. I’ve set up markers for you to discover. Seek my face and you will discover me. I will pour forth far more than you currently expect.

in praying

Pray for peace in Jerusalem. May all who love this city prosper. O Jerusalem, may there be peace within your walls and prosperity in your palaces. For the sake of my family and friends, I will say, “May you have peace.” For the sake of the house of the Lord our God, I will seek what is best for you, O Jerusalem. Psalms 122:6-9 NLT Now when all the people were baptized, Jesus also was baptized. And while he was praying, the heavens opened, and the Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven, “You are my one dear Son; in you I take great delight. Luke 3:21-22 (NET)

Seeking

When you seek me in prayer and worship, you will find me available to you. If you seek me with all your heart and soul, I will make myself available to you. says the Lord. Then I will reverse your plight and will regather you from all the nations and all the places where I have exiled you, says the Lord. I will bring you back to the place from which I exiled you. ‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭29:13-14‬ ‭NET‬‬ Ask of me, believing I will answer you. Seek my heart. Allow others to know my thoughts and care for them is real. Allow me to soften your inner ways. Release the fear you carry, and replace it with my heart. Set aside your own fears and unbelief.

up this mountain

Then the Lord said to Moses, Go up this mountain of the Abarim range, and see the land I have given to the Israelites. When you have seen it, you will be gathered to your ancestors, as Aaron your brother was gathered to his ancestors. For in the wilderness of Zin when the community rebelled against me, you rebelled against my command to show me as holy before their eyes over the water – the water of Meribah in Kadesh in the wilderness of Zin. Numbers 27:12-14 (NET)

Finding Shelter

O God, hear my cry for help! Pay attention to my prayer! From the most remote place on earth I call out to you in my despair. Lead me up to an inaccessible rocky summit! Indeed, you are my shelter, a strong tower that protects me from the enemy. I will be a permanent guest in your home; I will find shelter in the protection of your wings. (Selah) For you, O God, hear my vows; you grant me the reward that belongs to your loyal followers. ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭61:1-5‬ ‭NET Feed upon my word. Within it are directions for life. Within my written Word you will find truth and sustenance. Contemplate what is written and apply it to your life. There you can find healing and encouragement. Be secured in my peace. Let it flow over you, permeating your daily life. Within it you will find the living Son. Within Him are all things clean and holy. Within Him all things exist.

provider and protector

I am your provider and protector. Look about you and see what I have done And what I am about to do. Continue To seek my heart and I will guide you. Fear not, but trust in me.

The Storms of Life

The fears of the wicked will be fulfilled; the hopes of the godly will be granted. When the storms of life come, the wicked are whirled away, but the godly have a lasting foundation. ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭10:24-25‬ ‭(NLT‬‬) Don’t let the enemy distract you, but Keep your focus upon me. I AM the way for life to flow. I am what you need to share with others, In me is truth and life. I AM the only way to the creator-Father.

Word for Susan

Share with them and ask for their prayers and advice. I will restore & bring what is needed. I will cause you to smile once again.

His Plan

I have a plan for the whole earth, a hand of judgment upon all the nations. The Lord of Heaven’s Armies has spoken— who can change his plans? When his hand is raised, who can stop him? Isaiah 14:26-27 (NLT)

Patience

Be patient or you will miss me. Take your time to look about. I Am there. All that you see and don’t see are from my creative breath. Each reflect an aspect of my being. You too are a reflection of me, but much more. Your spirit is ever-lasting, ever able to absorb me, To grow in the way I show for you. Be patient. It is an aspect of me you need exhibit. Be patient and reflect my loving.

When things are rocky

But the whole community began to talk about stoning Joshua and Caleb. Then the glorious presence of the Lord appeared to all the Israelites at the Tabernacle. And the Lord said to Moses, How  long will these people treat me with contempt?  Will they never believe me, even after all the miraculous signs I have done among them? ‭‭Numbers‬ ‭14:10-11‬ ‭(NLT)‬‬ My God is my rock, in whom I find protection. He is my shield, the power that saves me, and my place of safety. He is my refuge, my savior, the one who saves me from violence. I called on the Lord, who is worthy of praise, and he saved me from my enemies. 2 Samuel 22:3-4 (NLT)

Guidance

Silence the inner noise and sit with me. Soak-in what is needed. Allow the impatience to be melted away. Let my hand guide you.

Is this You?

How I praise the Lord that you are concerned about me again. I know you have always been concerned for me, but you didn’t have the chance to help me. Not that I was ever in need, for I have learned how to be content with whatever I have. I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little. For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength. Philippians 4:10-13 (NLT)

Rest in Me

Put away the anxiety which targets you, but walk secure with me. Soak in my presence. Allow me to bring what is needed. Replace what troubles you with newness of life. Rest in me for I AM with you.

Trusting Me

I am waiting for you to reach out. Trust me and reach where I guide you. See the explosion of my power and love.

Remembering Him

As they were eating, Jesus took some bread and blessed it. Then he broke it in pieces and gave it to the disciples, saying, “Take it, for this is my body.” And he took a cup of wine and gave thanks to God for it. He gave it to them, and they all drank from it. And he said to them, “This is my blood, which confirms the covenant between God and his people. It is poured out as a sacrifice for many. I tell you the truth, I will not drink wine again until the day I drink it new in the Kingdom of God.”” Mark 14:22-25 (NLT)

Refreshed in Me

Be refreshed and refilled in my living word. Allow it to lead you into my peace. Allow it to guard your heart. Seek my truth and avoid the distraction. I point you to my Son. In him alone is life. Fear not the taunts of the enemy. Do not allow them to bring distraction, but allow my love to permeate you.

Finding Protection

Those who live in the shelter of the Most High           will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him. For he will rescue you from every trap and           protect you from deadly disease. He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection. Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night,           nor the arrow that flies in the day. Do not dread the disease that stalks in darkness, nor the disaster that strikes at midday. Though a thousand fall at your side, though ten thousand are dying around you, these evils will not touch you. Just open your eyes, and see how the wicked are punished. Psalms 91:1-8 (NLT )

Watch For Me

Watch for me and see if I do not answer you. Listen for my quiet voice, for I am what you seek, I am what you need. Each day lay aside the worries which weigh upon your heart. Each day redirect, believing I AM yet there. I AM the ever=present creator-God. Come believing.

Surrender

Draw close. I Am awaiting you. Surrender your desires and goals to me. Open your heart to see me. Look for me, so I might show myself. My hand of protection is open to you. Allow me to refill you, so you Can share me with others. Do not be frightened by the plans and lies of the enemy, but be fortified in me. Eat my Word. Soak in what I say, believing.

Blessings

The Lord spoke to Moses: Tell Aaron and his sons, This is the way you are to bless the Israelites. Say to them: The Lord bless you and protect you; The Lord make his face to shine upon you, and be gracious to you; The Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace. So they will put my name on the Israelites, and I will bless them. Numbers 6:22-27 (NET) When Moses entered the tent of meeting to speak with the Lord, he heard the voice speaking to him from between the two cherubim above the atonement cover on the ark of the covenant law. In this way the Lord spoke to him. ‭‭Numbers‬ ‭7:89‬ ‭(NIV‬‬)

what God is like

Go, inspect the city of Jerusalem. Walk around and count the many towers. Take note of the fortified walls, and tour all the citadels, that you may describe them to future generations. For that is what God is like. He is our God forever and ever, and he will guide us until we die. ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭48:12-14‬ ‭(NLT‬‬)

Keep Watch

Keep watch. You will see that I answer. Be awakened to the ways of mine. Don’t react but step forward with me. All things are mine.

You must believe

I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart. I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours. But when you are praying, first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your sins, too. ‭‭Mark‬ ‭11:23-25‬ ‭(NLT‬‬) The father instantly cried out, “I do believe, but help me overcome my unbelief!” When Jesus saw that the crowd of onlookers was growing, he rebuked the evil spirit. “Listen, you spirit that makes this boy unable to hear and speak,” he said. “I command you to come out of this child and never enter him again!”” Mark 9:24-25 (NLT )

help me see

Then they reached Jericho, and as Jesus and his disciples left town, a large crowd followed him. A blind beggar named Bartimaeus (son of Timaeus) was sitting beside the road. When Bartimaeus heard that Jesus of Nazareth was nearby, he began to shout, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” “Be quiet!” many of the people yelled at him. But he only shouted louder, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” When Jesus heard him, he stopped and said, “Tell him to come here.” So they called the blind man. “Cheer up,” they said. “Come on, he’s calling you!” Bartimaeus threw aside his coat, jumped up, and came to Jesus. “What do you want me to do for you?” Jesus asked. “My Rabbi,” the blind man said, “I want to see!” And Jesus said to him, “ Go, for your faith has healed you.” Instantly the man could see, and he followed Jesus down the road.” Mark 10:46-52 (NLT)

Trust...

In the beginning the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God. He existed in the beginning with God. God created everything through him, and nothing was created except through him. The Word gave life to everything that was created, and his life brought light to everyone. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it. John 1:1-5 (NLT) Trust in me I will guide you. I will show you the direction to go. Don’t hesitate, but trust.
