things to consider

Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever. Give thanks to the God of gods. His faithful love endures forever. Give thanks to the Lord of lords. His faithful love endures forever. Give thanks to him who alone does mighty miracles. His faithful love endures forever. Give thanks to him who made the heavens so skillfully. His faithful love endures forever. Give thanks to him who placed the earth among the waters. His faithful love endures forever. Give thanks to him who made the heavenly lights— His faithful love endures forever. and the moon and stars to rule the night. His faithful love endures forever. Give thanks to him who killed the firstborn of Egypt. His faithful love endures forever. He brought Israel out of Egypt. His faithful love endures forever. He acted with a strong hand and powerful arm. His faithful love endures forever. Give thanks to him who parted the Red Sea. His faithful love endures forever. He led Israel safely through

be careful in what you behold

take heed to yourself that you are not ensnared to follow them, after they are destroyed from before you, and that you do not inquire after their gods, saying, 'How did these nations serve their gods? I also will do likewise.'  Deuteronomy 12:30 (NKJV)

you are my favorite

Did you know you are my favorite? Yes, I’ve seen you stumble and fall but you get back up. There is no one I could love more than I now love you. There is no one who touches my heart in the way you do. Get ready, for I have more for you. I have plans for you to grow exponentially. There are kingdom plans I have specific for you. Come closer and carefully listen, for in the next six weeks you will be moving in a new spiritual dynamic. You will be influencing lives for my kingdom. Begin the purification process. Holy Spirit will guide you in the way. Open your heart to his leading. Meditate upon my Word and my way. Learn the way I see you; You are my favorite.

Better is one day

Look upon our shield, O God; look with favor on your anointed one. Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere; I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked. Psalm 84:9-10 (NIV)

One thing

One thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek, inquire for, and [insistently] require: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord [in His presence] all the days of my life, to behold and gaze upon the beauty [the sweet attractiveness and the delightful loveliness] of the Lord and to meditate, consider, and inquire in His temple. For in the day of trouble He will hide me in His shelter; in the secret place of His tent will He hide me; He will set me high upon a rock. Psalm 27:4-5 (AMP)

Let your light so shine

Let your light so shine before men that they may see your moral excellence and your praiseworthy, noble, and good deeds and recognize and honor and praise and glorify your Father Who is in heaven. Matthew 5:16 (AMP)

Stepping forth

In this season we are often caught in our emotions. But I encourage you to be caught in the blessing of Father. As this year ends and another unfolds, find yourself knowing your are loved. Do not be discouraged, but be affirmed in the Father’s love for you. Step forth into the light of his blessing.     I speak this benediction over your life   “The LORD bless you and protect you; The LORD make his face to shine upon you, and be gracious to you; The LORD lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.”’ Numbers 4:24-26 (NET)

presents or presence?

If you are lost and find yourself wondering about. God has a purpose. You may be moved to your place of discontent So the LORD God banished them from the Garden of Eden, and he sent Adam out to cultivate the ground from which he had been made. Genesis 3:23 (NLT) So Cain left the LORD’s presence and settled in the land of Nod, east of Eden. Genesis 4:16 (NLT) Follow the good example. Work to get back. Ask to come into the presence of the living God. How will anyone know that you look favorably on me—on me and on your people—if you don’t go with us? For your presence among us sets your people and me apart from all other people on the earth.”  The LORD replied to Moses, “I will indeed do what you have asked, for I look favorably on you, and I know you by name.” Moses responded, “Then show me your glorious presence.” Exodus 33:16-18 (NLT) See how Father-God responds to your heart-felt request. The LORD replied, “Listen, I am making a covenant with you in the presence of a

exercise

It’s time to become stronger in me. Don’t be lazy, but exercise what is already within you. As you use your gifts others will benefit. As you step beyond what you already know more will be give. There you will find the fulfillment you are now searching. It is there you know the peace from which I speak. You will be the light which dispels darkness. Become motivated and learn obedience as did my son. Step out in love. Be moved with compassion. Now is the time to bring forth a full measure. And we have different gifts according to the grace given to us. If the gift is prophecy, that individual must use it in proportion to his faith. If it is service, he must serve; if it is teaching, he must teach; if it is exhortation, he must exhort; if it is contributing, he must do so with sincerity; if it is leadership, he must do so with diligence; if it is showing mercy, he must do so with cheerfulness. Romans 12:6-8 (NET)

I will go before you

I will go before you and make the mountains flat. I will break down the bronze gates of the cities and cut through their iron bars. I will give you the wealth that is stored away and the hidden riches so you will know I am the LORD, the God of Israel, who calls you by name. Isaiah 45:2-3 (NCV)

you can choose

Be careful, or you will be fooled and will turn away to serve and worship other gods. See, today I am letting you choose a blessing or a curse. Deuteronomy 11:16, 26 (NCV)     The wise seek me continually. Their eyes are set to where I am going, and not where I have been. You must more than know my voice. Do not grow weary, for I am with you. Follow me with joy. Listen: for I am whispering my name for you. I am giving direction for your way.   Be fed by my words. Be washed clean by the water of Holy Spirit. He will lead you to Jesus. There are choices for your life. If you know my heart you will make the right ones. You were chosen to lead in these times. You are a light to those in darkness.   Worship me in Spirit and truth. Do not let the idols of this modern world. sway your heart into the path of destruction. Bless those about you through the example of your life. Yet as in all ways, the chose is your to make. You can choose a blessing or a curse.

My wish for you

The LORD will continually lead you; he will feed you even in parched regions. He will give you renewed strength, and you will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring that continually produces water. Isaiah 58:11 (NET) My thoughts for you have not changed. You remain the apple of my eye. I have placed you in circumstances which you may grow stronger in me. I continue to supply the meat of my Word. My wish for you is that you may prosper and grow. Subdue the earth that my kingdom may grow.

drawn unto the light

Then he sent them to Bethlehem, saying, Go and search for the Child carefully and diligently, and when you have found Him, bring me word, that I too may come and worship Him. When they had listened to the king, they went their way, and behold, the star which had been seen in the east in its rising went before them until it came and stood over the place where the young Child was. When they saw the star, they were thrilled with ecstatic joy. Matthew 2:8-10 (AMP)

an old covenant view

I will raise up a prophet like you for them from among their fellow Israelites. I will put my words in his mouth and he will speak to them whatever I command. I will personally hold responsible anyone who then pays no attention to the words that prophet speaks in my name. “But if any prophet presumes to speak anything in my name that I have not authorized him to speak, or speaks in the name of other gods, that prophet must die. Now if you say to yourselves, ‘How can we tell that a message is not from the LORD?’ — whenever a prophet speaks in my name and the prediction is not fulfilled, then I have not spoken it; the prophet has presumed to speak it, so you need not fear him.” Deuteronomy 18:18-22 (NET)

How can these things be?

If I have told you people about earthly things and you don't believe, how will you believe if I tell you about heavenly things? John 3:12 (NET)

Learn to worship

Remember of what family you are now in. I have adapted you and you are mine. No need to be trapped in the past remembrances. In me is fullness, all things. I can deliver you from the ways of the enemy. Flee what you should flee and stand when you should stand. I have set a table for you, but you will have enemies when you are mine. Don’t be surprised when struggles come. They enemy would destroy all that is mine, but his methods and plans are flawed. My son yet rules and reigns. Let praise pour forth from your life. Worship me in truth and spirit. I will continue to support those I know. Let your presence be found before me. This is not the time to walk alone. Gather together before and with me.

internal spiritual occupy

Let our cattle be strong. Let no one break in. Let there be no war, no screams in our streets. Happy are those who are like this; happy are the people whose God is the LORD. Psalm 144:14-15 (NCV)

Of David and me

Praise the LORD, my Rock, who trains me for war, who trains me for battle. He protects me like a strong, walled city, and he loves me.  Psalm 144:1-2a (NCV)

Christ is your life

Since you were brought back to life with Christ, focus on the things that are above—where Christ holds the highest position. Keep your mind on things above, not on worldly things. You have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. Christ is your life. Colossians 3:1-4a (GW)

the actions of your life

I want to challenge you: Fear not!! Look about you: I have created all things. In me there is no lack. I have given the same word to leaders (Genesis 15:1, 26:24, 46:3, Joshua 8:1, Daniel 10:12) I have given this word to the land and to those I love (Joel 2:21-22, Zephaniah 3:16, Haggai 2:5, Zechariah 8:13, Malachi 3:5, Matthew 10:31) I have given this word to the night shift workers (Luke 2:10) and I will continue to give this Word:  Fear not! Look into the darkness and declare light. Concern yourself with the ways of my kingdom. Do not grow lax, but be ready for the opportunities to spread my ways, Let my light shine through the actions of your life. Fear not for I am with you.

Word for Sally

Thursday I asked if I could have a word for someone and this immediately was set into my thoughts.  While it is short, I sense it will find it’s mark with impact. Word for Sally I say no to your plan.  Wait.  I will yet work things out.

How are your thoughts?

The time is near when all things will end. So think clearly and control yourselves so you will be able to pray. 1 Peter 4:7 (NCV)

the battle is not your battle

Jehoshaphat’s army went out into the Desert of Tekoa early in the morning. As they were starting out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, “Listen to me, people of Judah and Jerusalem. Have faith in the LORD your God, and you will stand strong. Have faith in his prophets, and you will succeed.“ 2 Chronicles 20:20 (NCV)

opportunities

“Therefore, everyone who hears what I say and obeys it will be like a wise person who built a house on rock. Rain poured, and floods came. Winds blew and beat against that house. But it did not collapse, because its foundation was on rock. Matthew 7:24-25 (GW)   Be grounded and grow in the wisdom I provide. I have created all things. In my ways are life and abundance. Do not let your hearts be troubled. I am yet the God of the miraculous. My protection is for those who know me through relationship.   Rains and storms are not new. They will become opportunities; avenues for my work to be seen through those who know me. My light will flourish in the darkening days.   Playing fields will be leveled; walls will crumble and fall. Yet my people will be safe upon the foundation only I can provide.   Build upon what I am establishing. I am your firm foundation.

measuring post

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord!' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the person who does what my Father in heaven wants. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, didn't we prophesy in your name? Didn't we force out demons and do many miracles by the power and authority of your name?' Then I will tell them publicly, ‘I've never known you. Get away from me, you evil people.' Matthew 7:21-23 (GW)

Prophecy and parables…

All these things Jesus said to the crowds in parables; indeed, he said nothing to them without a parable. This was to fulfill what was spoken by the prophet: “I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter what has been hidden since the foundation of the world.” Then he left the crowds and went into the house. And his disciples came to him, saying, “Explain to us the parable of the weeds of the field.” Matthew 13:34-36 (ESV)

a direction for prayer

"I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone – for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth." 1 Timothy 2:1-4, NIV

giving thanks

He asked them, “How many loaves do you have?” They replied, “Seven.” Then he directed the crowd to sit down on the ground. After he took the seven loaves and gave thanks, he broke them and began giving them to the disciples to serve. So they served the crowd. They also had a few small fish. After giving thanks for these, he told them to serve these as well. Everyone ate and was satisfied, and they picked up the broken pieces left over, seven baskets full. There were about four thousand who ate. Then he dismissed them. Mark 8:5-9 (NET)

living in the light

Let nobody deceive you with empty words, for because of these things God’s wrath comes on the sons of disobedience. Therefore do not be partakers with them, for you were at one time darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of the light — for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness, and truth — trying to learn what is pleasing to the Lord. Do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. For the things they do in secret are shameful even to mention. But all things being exposed by the light are made evident. For everything made evident is light, and for this reason it says: “Awake, O sleeper! Rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you!” Ephesians 5:6-14 (NET)

Is he the Christ?

As He was teaching in the temple complex, Jesus cried out, “You know Me and you know where I am from. Yet I have not come on My own, but the One who sent Me is true. You don’t know Him; I know Him because I am from Him, and He sent Me.” John 7:28-29 (HCSB)

Those who come in

Yes, I am the gate. Those who come in through me will be saved. They will come and go freely and will find good pastures. The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life. John 10:9-10 (NLT)

If you receive

If you receive a prophet as one who speaks for God, you will be given the same reward as a prophet. And if you receive righteous people because of their righteousness, you will be given a reward like theirs. Matthew 10:41 (NLT)

Do you believe?

God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the sky, and over the livestock, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” Genesis 1:26 (WEB) For everything spoken by God is possible. Luke 1:37 (WEB)

you are of great value

What is the price of two sparrows—one copper coin? But not a single sparrow can fall to the ground without your Father knowing it. And the very hairs on your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are more valuable to God than a whole flock of sparrows. Matthew 10:29-31 (NLT) We have a small deck extending from our second story bedroom window. As I pulled back the blinds I saw a sparrow lying in the deck chair. It brought me back to a noise I had heard the just-previous afternoon. It had been sunny and as sometimes occurs, the hawk visits our area and the birds quickly scatter. This sparrow had seen the open space and met its death in the glass, falling back into the chair where I saw it. This verse from Matthew 10 was quicken to me. It reverberated a message for you. Seek after me and my ways. Find your self secure in the way I have created you. Spread forth your wings into flight. The more you strengthened yourself in me the further you can move in what I have shown you

judging

“Don’t judge other people, or you will be judged. You will be judged in the same way that you judge others, and the amount you give to others will be given to you. Matthew 7:1-2 (NCV)

The team: Wisdom & Understanding

Get wisdom and understanding. Don’t forget or ignore my words. Hold on to wisdom, and it will take care of you. Love it, and it will keep you safe. Wisdom is the most important thing; so get wisdom. If it costs everything you have, get understanding. Treasure wisdom, and it will make you great; hold on to it, and it will bring you honor. It will be like flowers in your hair and like a beautiful crown on your head.“  Proverbs 4:5-9 (NCV)

come out

I say to you, come out. Where I am, you too can be. Step into the glory of my presence. Step past the self-imposed limitations. You have my favor. Reach out to where I am dwelling. I have no limit. Come out and embrace what I have for you. This is what the LORD says: “At the time I decide to show my favor, I will respond to you;  in the day of deliverance I will help you; I will protect you and make you a covenant mediator for people, to rebuild the land and to reassign the desolate property.  You will say to the prisoners, ‘Come out,’ and to those who are in dark  dungeons, ‘Emerge.’ They will graze beside the roads; on all the slopes they will find pasture. Isaiah 49:8-9 (NET)

the acceptable striving

Not that I have already attained this — that is, I have not already been perfected — but I strive to lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus also laid hold of me. Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself to have attained this. Instead I am single-minded: Forgetting the things that are behind and reaching out for the things that are ahead, with this goal in mind, I strive toward the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:12-14 (NET)

Draw nearer

When Elijah heard it, he covered his face with his robe and went out and stood at the entrance to the cave. All of a sudden a voice asked him, “Why are you here, Elijah?”  1 Kings 19:13 (NET) Don't be obstinate or make things complicated. It remains simple. Change your direction and seek me. Come to me in prayer and I will show myself. Silence your mind and your attitude. It's time to bow your ways before me. Why are you here? Can you not hear me drawing you? I have not changed my mind. My plans for you remain. Be patient so I can complete the process of perfecting you. My son learned obedience, and so can you. Step into the doorway of the future: Draw nearer to me.

Bless the LORD

The LORD has established his throne in the heavens, and his kingdom rules over all. Bless the LORD, O you his angels, you mighty ones who do his word, obeying the voice of his word! Bless the LORD, all his hosts, his ministers, who do his will! Bless the LORD, all his works, in all places of his dominion. Bless the LORD, O my soul! Psalm 103:19-22 (ESV)

More of me

Now is the time to ask for more of me. It is the time to devour my Word. Now is the time to step out; to step forward into my wholeness. Do not be satisfied with a small portion. There are things which I wish I could show you; ways which I will manifest. There are items in your life which need to change; A clouded vision of me and your life through me. You need more of me, an abundance of light and life that those about you can recognize. It is time to move from beneath your own evaluation. Trust in my word; therein is life.  I am the light.  It is time to move in the fullness of healing and salvation. Do not allow other to die without knowing me and my love for them. Move out from beneath your self-limitations. Ask for more, more of me.

ongoing revelation

Yet to us God has unveiled and revealed them by and through His Spirit, for the [Holy] Spirit searches diligently, exploring and examining everything, even sounding the profound and bottomless things of God [the divine counsels and things hidden and beyond man's scrutiny]. For what person perceives (knows and understands) what passes through a man's thoughts except the man's own spirit within him? Just so no one discerns (comes to know and comprehend) the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. 1 Corinthians 2:10-11 (AMP)

are you a cheater?

For if any person thinks himself to be somebody [too important to condescend to shoulder another's load] when he is nobody [of superiority except in his own estimation], he deceives and deludes and cheats himself. But let every person carefully scrutinize and examine and test his own conduct and his own work. He can then have the personal satisfaction and joy of doing something commendable [in itself alone] without [resorting to] boastful comparison with his neighbor.   Galatians 6:3-4 (AMP)

Let your voice be heard

[Then God said] If they will not believe you or heed the voice or the testimony of the first sign, they may believe the voice or the witness of the second sign. Exodus 4:8 (AMP)

I will yet teach you

Come near to me and listen to this: I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; from the time that it happened, I was there. And now the Lord God has sent His Spirit in and with me. Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: I am the Lord your God, Who teaches you to profit, Who leads you in the way that you should go. Isaiah 48:16-17 (AMP )

by the prophetic word

You have heard [these things foretold], now you see this fulfillment. And will you not bear witness to it? I show you specified new things from this time forth, even hidden things [kept in reserve] which you have not known. They are created now [called into being by the prophetic word], and not long ago; and before today you have never heard of them, lest you should say, Behold, I knew them!   Isaiah 48:6-7 (AMP)

do this, and you will live

Now an expert in religious law stood up to test Jesus, saying, “Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?” He said to him, “What is written in the law? How do you understand it?” The expert answered, “ Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind , and love your neighbor as yourself .” Jesus said to him, “You have answered correctly; do this, and you will live.”  Luke 10:25-28 (NET)

awaken your hearts

Awaken. I am yet with you. Seek me, that you may find me.   There are sons and daughters who feel distant and defeated. You have allowed yourselves to feel isolated. You no longer experience me as you have in the past. Do not give up, but awaken yourself. I never change.   Awaken your heart to what I am doing. Continue seeking me and I will be found.     I will bring forth descendants from Jacob, and from Judah people to take possession of my mountains. My chosen ones will take possession of the land; my servants will live there. Isaiah 65:9 (NET)

Ask and you shall receive

From Issachar there were 200 leaders and all their relatives at their command — they understood the times and knew what Israel should do. 1 Chronicles 12:32 (NET)

for the house of my God

So I have provided for the house of my God, so far as I was able, the gold for the things of gold, the silver for the things of silver, and the bronze for the things of bronze, the iron for the things of iron, and wood for the things of wood, besides great quantities of onyx and stones for setting, antimony, colored stones, all sorts of precious stones and marble. Moreover, in addition to all that I have provided for the holy house, I have a treasure of my own of gold and silver, and because of my devotion to the house of my God I give it to the house of my God:… and for all the work to be done by craftsmen, gold for the things of gold and silver for the things of silver. Who then will offer willingly, consecrating himself today to the LORD?” 1 Chronicles 29:2-3, 5 (ESV)

His speaking…

I took you from the ends of the earth, from its farthest corners I called you. I said, 'You are my servant'; I have chosen you and have not rejected you. So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:9-10 (NIV)

his longing for you…

But the father said to his slaves, ‘Hurry! Bring the best robe, and put it on him! Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet! Bring the fattened calf and kill it! Let us eat and celebrate, because this son of mine was dead, and is alive again — he was lost and is found!’ So they began to celebrate. Luke 15:22-24 (NET)

wisdom

Instead we speak the wisdom of God, hidden in a mystery, that God determined before the ages for our glory. 1 Corinthians 2:7 (NET)

roll away the stone

Ask for help as it’s time to roll away the stone. Reach to the others I have placed near you, then you will be able to walk from the darkness into the light. Reach out and roll away the stone of others. Remove the hindrances which bind them and find your freedom. It is when your prayers are directed away from you needs that you find I have already answered you. Roll away the stone. It is not too late for me to act on your behalf. Thus the people who had come to mourn said, “Look how much he loved him!” But some of them said, “This is the man who caused the blind man to see! Couldn’t he have done something to keep Lazarus from dying?” Jesus, intensely moved again, came to the tomb. (Now it was a cave, and a stone was placed across it.) Jesus said, “Take away the stone.”  John 11:36-39a (NET)

that they may know

My purpose is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. Colossians 2:2-3 (NIV)

how long have you been lingering?

When Jesus saw him lying there and knew that he had already been there a long time, he said to him, “Do you want to be healed?” John 5:6 (ESV)

five changes of clothes

Israel's sons did as they were told. Joseph gave them wagons and supplies for their trip as Pharaoh had ordered. He gave each of them a change of clothes, but he gave Benjamin three hundred pieces of silver and five changes of clothes.                         Genesis 45:21-22 (GW)     I am bringing change to all areas of life; some are obvious and many not. The face of the landscapes are in change. Yes, even within you I am at work. Do not fear what you do not know.   I am testing the tress of the forests. My Spirit is blowing over and through them. The mature have learned to bow before me and bend in my ways. Yet even in them pruning is necessary. The weak and inner decayed are exposed. Many are yet to fall. They become a part of oncoming generations.   There are changes coming and you are to learn to recognize what is me. Study my ways and do not be fearful. Listen for the sound of my voice. You will find it has many tenors and tones. I am directing those who know me.

ask and receive; receive and practice

So we, numerous as we are, are one body in Christ (the Messiah) and individually we are parts one of another [mutually dependent on one another]. Having gifts (faculties, talents, qualities) that differ according to the grace given us, let us use them: [He whose gift is] prophecy, [let him prophesy] according to the proportion of his faith; Romans 12:5-6 (AMP)

transformations

He was transformed in front of them, and His face shone like the sun. Even His clothes became as white as the light. Matthew 17:2 (HCSB) Do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God. Romans 12:2 (HCSB)

around the throne

And round about the high seat were four and twenty seats: and on them I saw four and twenty rulers seated, clothed in white robes; and on their heads crowns of gold. And out of the high seat came flames and voices and thunders. And seven lights of fire were burning before the high seat, which are the seven Spirits of God; And before the high seat there was, as it seemed, a clear sea of glass; and in the middle of the high seat, and round about it, four beasts full of eyes round about. And the first beast was like a lion, and the second like an ox, and the third had a face like a man, and the fourth was like an eagle in flight. And the four beasts, having every one of them six wings, are full of eyes round about and inside: and without resting day and night, they say, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God, Ruler of all, who was and is and is to come. Revelation 4:4-8 (BBE)

wisdom

God understands the way to it, and he alone knows its place. For he looks to the ends of the earth and observes everything under the heavens. When he made the force of the wind and measured the waters with a gauge. When he imposed a limit for the rain, and a path for the thunderstorm, then he looked at wisdom and assessed its value; he established it and examined it closely. And he said to mankind, ‘The fear of the LORD — that is wisdom, and to turn away from evil is understanding.’” Job 28:23-28 (NET)

Let righteousness

Let righteousness be your guide, so that you may have life, and take for your heritage the land which the Lord your God is giving you. Deuteronomy 16:20 (BBE) I am that righteousness necessary to have life. Live free in abundance with me. Turn aside from you own way of accomplishing my will. It will fail. I am the way. I came so you might have an example. I left so that the Helper could come. He is available to open truth. He spoke through the prophets and He will speak through you if you allow him. The meek shall inherit the earth not the bold or the brash. Ask for direction and receive it. Ask for wisdom and it is for you also. Ask for the things which matter in the mind of the Father. In suffering I learned obedience. That too is your heritage. Do not be found trying to hide. You are called to rule. You are to shine in the time of darkness. Let righteousness be your guide. Share with others the refreshing I can bring. Be welcome among those who are mine.

get understanding

Oh, how I love your teachings! They are in my thoughts all day long. Your commandments make me wiser than my enemies, because your commandments are always with me. I have more insight than all my teachers, because your written instructions are in my thoughts. Psalm 119:97-99 (GW)

Can you discern the time?

There is a time for everything, and everything on earth has its special season. There is a time to be born and a time to die. There is a time to plant and a time to pull up plants. There is a time to kill and a time to heal. There is a time to destroy and a time to build. Ecclesiastes 3:1-3 (NCV)

How about you? How is your strength?

Blessed are those who find strength in you. Their hearts are on the road {that leads to you}. As they pass through a valley where balsam trees grow, they make it a place of springs. The early rains cover it with blessings. Their strength grows as they go along until each one of them appears in front of God in Zion. Psalm 84:5-7 (GW)

a graduating

In this time of inner turmoil I have again been finding coins. They are among other things, markers for me. They point that God is still active around me. Yesterday I was guided to walk a different pathway I was going to take. As I made that initial adjustment I saw a coin. It was a penny there in front of me. I picked up that dirty penny, thanked God and placed it in my pocket. Today I brought it out of my pocket and checked the date. It was 1970, the year of my graduation. Perhaps I am about to embark in a new time.

your covering

Do not allow fear to guide you, I am your covering. Walk with me and run not ahead of me and I will continue to show you the way. Stay beneath my shadow of covering. Do not stray from protection. Do not willingly walk from my walls or ways. Turn your face toward me. You do nor need be ashamed. Ask for forgiveness and receive. Return to my way. Come back to what I have for you. I have not left you. I have not removed your purpose in my kingdom. I have not changed my heart for you. I am your covering. Do not allow fear of self or others or situations to affect you. I AM.

His Word and Way

My word, which comes from my mouth, is like the rain and snow. It will not come back to me without results. It will accomplish whatever I want and achieve whatever I send it to do.” Isaiah 55:11 (GW)

What say you?

What do you say? I’m of the opinion no one really reads blog entries. They are often written for the author and are but senseless drivel. What say you?   Do you really read/follow blog entries?

guidelines

Timothy, my child, I'm giving you this order about the prophecies that are still coming to you: Use these prophecies in faith and with a clear conscience to fight this noble war. Some have refused to let their faith guide their conscience and their faith has been destroyed like a wrecked ship. 1 Timothy 1:18-19 (GW)

hope for the future

Your future is filled with hope, declares the LORD. Your children will return to their own territory. Jeremiah 31:17 (GW)

a view of Pentecost

Suddenly a noise like a strong, blowing wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw something like flames of fire that were separated and stood over each person there. They were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they began to speak different languages by the power the Holy Spirit was giving them. Acts 2:2-4 (NCV)

of the LORD

The teachings of the LORD are perfect. They renew the soul. The testimony of the LORD is dependable. It makes gullible people wise. The instructions of the LORD are correct. They make the heart rejoice. The command of the LORD is radiant. It makes the eyes shine. The fear of the LORD is pure. It endures forever. The decisions of the LORD are true. They are completely fair. Psalm 19:7-9 (GW)

God is light

We are telling you what we have seen and heard, so that you may share in this life with us. And we share in it with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ. We are writing to tell you these things, because this makes us truly happy. Jesus told us that God is light and doesn't have any darkness in him. Now we are telling you.  1 John 1:3-5 (CEV)

where are you walking?

Late in the afternoon a breeze began to blow, and the man and woman heard the LORD God walking in the garden. They were frightened and hid behind some trees. The LORD called out to the man and asked, "Where are you?" The man answered, "I was naked, and when I heard you walking through the garden, I was frightened and hid!" "How did you know you were naked?" God asked. "Did you eat any fruit from that tree in the middle of the garden?" Genesis 3:8-11 (CEV)

drink deeply…

With joy you will drink deeply from the fountain of salvation! Isaiah 12:3 (NLT)

written in heaven

But you should not be happy because the spirits obey you but because your names are written in heaven.“ Luke 10:20 (NCV) You can live without fear. Your voice is far expanded. There is a way lit for you which others can not see. There is provision for you in times of need. Because your names are written in heaven you have have access to all that is mine.

with Jesus in the middle

So then, because of them, he handed Him over to be crucified. Therefore they took Jesus away. Carrying His own cross, He went out to what is called Skull Place, which in Hebrew is called Golgotha . There they crucified Him and two others with Him, one on either side, with Jesus in the middle. John 19:16-18 (HCSB)

do not be silent…

As he was getting into the boat the man who had been demon-possessed asked if he could go with him. But Jesus did not permit him to do so. Instead, he said to him, “Go to your home and to your people and tell them what the Lord has done for you, that he had mercy on you.” So he went away and began to proclaim in the Decapolis what Jesus had done for him, and all were amazed. Mark 5:18-20 (NET)

Acknowledge the Lord

Acknowledge the majesty of the LORD’s reputation! Worship the LORD in holy attire! The LORD’s shout is heard over the water; the majestic God thunders, the LORD appears over the surging water. The LORD’s shout is powerful, the LORD’s shout is majestic. The LORD’s shout breaks the cedars, the LORD shatters the cedars of Lebanon.  Psalm 29:2-5 (NET)

John’s scene in heaven

Immediately I was in the Spirit, and a throne was standing in heaven with someone seated on it! And the one seated on it was like jasper and carnelian in appearance, and a rainbow looking like it was made of emerald encircled the throne. In a circle around the throne were twenty-four other thrones, and seated on those thrones were twenty-four elders. They were dressed in white clothing and had golden crowns on their heads. From the throne came out flashes of lightning and roaring and crashes of thunder. Seven flaming torches, which are the seven spirits of God, were burning in front of the throne and in front of the throne was something like a sea of glass, like crystal. In the middle of the throne and around the throne were four living creatures full of eyes in front and in back. Revelation 4:2-6 (NET)

teaching from the temple

The person who speaks on his own authority desires to receive honor for himself; the one who desires the honor of the one who sent him is a man of integrity, and there is no unrighteousness in him. John 7:18 (NET)

THE Return

(Look! He is returning with the clouds , and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him , and all the tribes on the earth will mourn because of him. This will certainly come to pass! Amen.) Revelation 1:7 (NET)

perceptions are trained by practice

But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. Hebrews 5:14 (NKJV)

My God, I call to you during the day, but you do not answer. I call at night; I am not silent. Psalm 22:2 (NCV)

how is your memory?

If we had forgotten the name of our God, or spread out our hands to a strange god, would not God discover this? For he knows the secrets of the heart. Psalm 44:20-21 (NRSV)

Last Words

Jesus approached and, breaking the silence, said to them, All authority (all power of rule) in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Go then and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you, and behold, I am with you all the days (perpetually, uniformly, and on every occasion), to the [very] close and consummation of the age. Amen (so let it be). Matthew 28:18-20 (AMP)

speak and do not be silent

The Lord said to Paul by a vision in the night, “Do not be afraid, but speak and do not be silent,  Acts 18:9 (NET) Some of you are sensing the pressure, directly and indirectly. Do not fear. I am with you. Do not be afraid of what may seem before you. Go forward where my hand of direction is taking you. Speak my truth in love. Gather those cast away by society, families and friends. Speak and do not be silent. Allow my words of encouragement to flow through you and to those in need. Reach out so that they may know me.

a releasing of power

Jesus was on his way to heal Jairus’ 12 year old daughter when… And a woman who had had a flow of blood for twelve years and could not be healed by any one, came up behind him, and touched the fringe of his garment; and immediately her flow of blood ceased.  And Jesus said, "Who was it that touched me?" When all denied it, Peter said, "Master, the multitudes surround you and press upon you!" But Jesus said, "Some one touched me; for I perceive that power has gone forth from me." Luke 8:43-46 (RSV) For the youth to be healed, releasing Jesus power, the church must be healed of it’s issues. We must reach out and actively pursue the healing virtue for the sake of the next generation.

My words in your mouth

The words I have spoken are unchanged. They are as my name, unchangeable. I have written my ways into your being. They are inscribed upon your heart before you were known by others. They will come to pass as you continue to walk in my light.   Within you is a great light. It is a light to affect the world, dispelling darkness where you go. You shall speak my truth in love and it will liberate the captives. Healing and wholeness will appear where once was only desperation and fear.   You are my people, created in my image. Go in peace, setting free those held in bondage.   For I am the Lord your God, Who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar and Who by rebuke restrains it—the Lord of hosts is His name. And I have put My words in your mouth and have covered you with the shadow of My hand, that I may fix the [new] heavens as a tabernacle and lay the foundations of a [new] earth and say to Zion, You are My people. Isaiah 51:15-16 (AMP )

I am the LORD…

For I am the Lord your God, Who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar and Who by rebuke restrains it—the Lord of hosts is His name.  And I have put My words in your mouth and have covered you with the shadow of My hand, that I may fix the [new] heavens as a tabernacle and lay the foundations of a [new] earth and say to Zion, You are My people. Isaiah 51:15-16 (AMP)

as his child…

But to as many as did receive and welcome Him, He gave the authority (power, privilege, right) to become the children of God, that is, to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) His name— John 1:12 (AMP)

…therefore we also speak

It is written: "I believed; therefore I have spoken." With that same spirit of faith we also believe and therefore speak, because we know that the one who raised the Lord Jesus from the dead will also raise us with Jesus and present us with you in his presence. 2 Corinthians 4:13-14 (NIV)

learning to live as free

So Jesus said to those Jews who had believed in Him, If you abide in My word [hold fast to My teachings and live in accordance with them], you are truly My disciples. And you will know the Truth, and the Truth will set you free. John 8:31-32 (AMP)

who or what is your source?

And when He entered the sacred enclosure of the temple, the chief priests and elders of the people came up to Him as He was teaching and said, By what power of authority are You doing these things, and who gave You this power of authority? Matthew 21:23 (AMP)

in what to rejoice…

Look, I have given you authority to tread on snakes and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy; and nothing will hurt you. Nevertheless, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you; but rejoice that your names stand written in heaven." Luke 10:19-20 (NET)

receiving power and authority

After Jesus called the twelve together, he gave them power and authority over all demons and to cure diseases, and he sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal the sick. Luke 9:1-2 (NET)

authority and power

They were all amazed and began to say to one another, “What’s happening here? For with authority and power he commands the unclean spirits, and they come out!” So the news about him spread into all areas of the region. Luke 4:36-37 (NET)

as one who had authority

When Jesus had finished these sayings [the Sermon on the Mount], the crowds were astonished and overwhelmed with bewildered wonder at His teaching, For He was teaching as One Who had [and was] authority, and not as [did] the scribes. Matthew 7:28-29 (AMP)

Stir the vision

If people can't see what God is doing, they stumble all over themselves; But when they attend to what he reveals, they are most blessed. Proverbs 29:18 (MSG) The vision lies within. I have placed within your heart that which you were created to do.  Listen and attend to what I am saying. I will express myself within you. Examine the dreams I give you. What what excites you as you move through life. See what I am doing within you and attend to it's growth. Do not sit idle, but work towards what I show you.  Don't allow the vision to become dormant. Stretch forth and grow in your gifting. Allow my hand of blessing to come upon you.  My anointing will follow you as you move in my ways. It is time for you to reawaken. Stir the vision within

The Glory of the New Covenant

And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. 2 Corinthians 3:18 (NIV)

Are you teachable?

"Who is it he is trying to teach? To whom is he explaining his message? To children weaned from their milk, to those just taken from the breast? For it is: Do and do, do and do, rule on rule, rule on rule; a little here, a little there." Very well then, with foreign lips and strange tongues God will speak to this people, to whom he said, "This is the resting place, let the weary rest"; and, "This is the place of repose"-- but they would not listen. Isaiah 28:9-12 (NIV)

the intercession example

The next day Moses said to the people, "You have committed a great sin. But now I will go up to the LORD; perhaps I can make atonement for your sin." So Moses went back to the LORD and said, "Oh, what a great sin these people have committed! They have made themselves gods of gold. But now, please forgive their sin--but if not, then blot me out of the book you have written." The LORD replied to Moses, "Whoever has sinned against me I will blot out of my book. Now go, lead the people to the place I spoke of, and my angel will go before you. However, when the time comes for me to punish, I will punish them for their sin." Exodus 32:30-34 (NIV)

he learned obedience

During the days of Jesus' life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with loud cries and tears to the one who could save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission. Although he was a son, he learned obedience from what he suffered and, once made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him Hebrews 5:7-9 (NIV)

a living testimony

Indeed, as long as I am in this tabernacle, I consider it right to stir you up by way of a reminder, since I know that my tabernacle will soon be removed, because our Lord Jesus Christ revealed this to me. Indeed, I will also make every effort that, after my departure, you have a testimony of these things. 2 Peter 1:13-15 (NET)

being in the light

If we say we do not bear the guilt of sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us. But if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous, forgiving us our sins and cleansing us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:8-9 (NET)

The way of holiness

Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert. And the parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water: in the habitation of dragons, where each lay, shall be grass with reeds and rushes. And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein . No lion shall be there, nor any ravenous beast shall go up thereon, it shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk there : And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away. Isaiah 35:5-10 (KJV)

Each Day

And when Judah looked, behold, the battle was in front of and behind them.  And they cried to the LORD, and the priests blew the trumpets.  Then the men of Judah raised the battle shout. And when the men of Judah  shouted, God defeated Jeroboam and all Israel before Abijah and Judah. 2 Chronicles 13:14-15 (ESV) From the beginning I have had a plan. I create all things and my plan has not changed.  You were created in my image.  Continue in me and my ways. Refresh your self in me; feast upon my Word. Call upon my name and I will yet answer you. Though the enemy surrounds you, I will come and fight for you. Trust in me. Let your joy be made full that you may sleep well and awaken refreshed.  Each day I am the same. Each day I am there for you. Each day I have created opportunities for you to grow.

from this day I will bless you

'Consider now from this day forward, from the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month, from the day that the foundation of the LORD'S temple was laid--consider it: Is the seed still in the barn? As yet the vine, the fig tree, the pomegranate, and the olive tree have not yielded fruit. But from this day I will bless you.' "    Haggai 2:18-19 (NKJV)

then as now: He speaks

And you said: 'Surely the LORD our God has shown us His glory and His greatness, and we have heard His voice from the midst of the fire. We have seen this day that God speaks with man; yet he still lives. Deuteronomy 5:24 (NKJV)

my strength

The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to him in song. Psalm 28:7 (NIV)

Freedom: the harvest of righteousness

And the harvest of righteousness (of conformity to God's will in thought and deed) is [the fruit of the seed] sown in peace by those who work for and make peace [in themselves and in others, that peace which means concord, agreement, and harmony between individuals, with undisturbedness, in a peaceful mind free from fears and agitating passions and moral conflicts].  James 3:18 (AMP)

His inheritance

Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people he chose for his inheritance. Psalm 33:12 (NIV)

he sees all

The LORD’s decisions stand forever; his plans abide throughout the ages. How blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people whom he has chosen to be his special possession. The LORD watches from heaven; he sees all people. Psalm 33:11-13 (NET)

peripheral vision

Do not become distracted by what you see in your peripheral vision.  Keep your eyes straight ahead and focused upon me. Do not let those side issues distract you and take you off course. As you walk with me I will increase your discernment and sensitivity to what I am doing. My light will be seen by those who are searching for me.

My Word

I am bringing forth my word. What I have said, I have said. My word is life and truth. Partake of me and live as I have set forth for you. You are of my family. All that I have is available to you. Learn to walk in that belief. I am yet the provider; come to depend upon me. I am about to bring a measuring, so those who know and depend upon me can be promoted. My word is sure. Be secure in me. Breath in, breath out. My Spirit is pouring forth.

remembering whose we are

You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, And praise the name of the LORD your God, Who has dealt wondrously with you; And My people shall never be put to shame. Then you shall know that I am in the midst of Israel: I am the LORD your God And there is no other. My people shall never be put to shame. Joel 2:26-27 (NKJV)

Awaken and arise

Awaken yourself. Do not be satisfied with what you now see, nor be discouraged. There is more as you learn to walk and depend upon me for all things. I am yet dwelling with and in you. I have given you dominion. Awaken and rise in my power. Walk though the land which I shall give to you. Awaken and arise into the priesthood I have placed you. Do not be surprised nor hesitate, but awaken to what I shall show you. The time for slumber is past. Put away what you once knew as truth. I am truth and life. Remove the lies which surround and hinder you. I have clothed you with my righteousness. I have given you a mantle which no one else can remove. Awaken and arise in me. The earth is awaiting. The sea of people are awaiting for my people to respond.

…voice from heaven saying

And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away." Revelation 21:3-4 (NKJV)

are we there yet?

…until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God — a mature person, attaining to the measure of Christ’s full stature. Ephesians 4:13 (NET)

from Jacob to the reader

The blessings of your father are greater than the blessings of the eternal mountains or the desirable things of the age-old hills. They will be on the head of Joseph and on the brow of the prince of his brothers. Genesis 49:26 (NET)

on the breastpiece of decision

…and the fourth row, a chrysolite, an onyx, and a jasper. They were enclosed in gold filigree settings. The stones were for the names of the sons of Israel, twelve, corresponding to the number of their names. Each name corresponding to one of the twelve tribes was like the engravings of a seal. Exodus 39:13-14 (NET)

a good fix

So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:18 (NIV)

from the Bread of Life

For this is the will of my Father — for everyone who looks on the Son and believes in him to have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.”  John 6:40 (NET)

an exhortation

Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice, set things right, be encouraged, agree with one another, live in peace, and the God of love and peace will be with you. 2 Corinthians 13:11 (NET)

and you?

If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And if I have prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. And if I shall dole out all my goods in food, and if I deliver up my body that I may be burned, but have not love, I profit nothing. 1 Corinthians 13:1-3 (Darby)

words of knowledge

There is gold, and an abundance of rubies, but words of knowledge are like a precious jewel. Proverbs 20:15 (NET)

if I do not have love

I may have the gift of prophecy. I may understand all the secret things of God and have all knowledge, and I may have faith so great I can move mountains. But even with all these things, if I do not have love, then I am nothing. I may give away everything I have, and I may even give my body as an offering to be burned. But I gain nothing if I do not have love. 1 Corinthians 13:2-3 (NCV)

Recognize me

Continue to grow in me so you may prosper. Avoid judging spiritual matters by your human intuition. Recognize the natural is a reflection of the spiritual. Use wisdom.   You have received a great light. Do not try to hide or contain it. Allow me to burn brightly and you will begin to recognize me in new situations and places.   Turn aside from your old ways and convenient paths. Ask continue to ask for more of me .

awaken

When Jesus heard that John had been put in prison, he returned to Galilee. Leaving Nazareth, he went and lived in Capernaum, which was by the lake in the area of Zebulun and Naphtali-- to fulfill what was said through the prophet Isaiah: "Land of Zebulun and land of Naphtali, the way to the sea, along the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles-- the people living in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned." From that time on Jesus began to preach, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near."   Matthew 4:12-17 (NIV)

a time of thanksgiving…

He brought me forth also into a large place; He was delivering me because He was pleased with me and delighted in me. The Lord rewarded me according to my righteousness (my conscious integrity and sincerity with Him); according to the cleanness of my hands has He recompensed me. Psalm 18:19-20 (AMP)

the kingdom is at hand

IN THOSE days there appeared John the Baptist, preaching in the Wilderness (Desert) of Judea And saying, Repent (think differently; change your mind, regretting your sins and changing your conduct), for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. Matthew 3:1-2 (AMP)

I say to you, get up!

It is time for you to get up. Arise from your place and come sit with me. I have a place for you. You are no longer dead, but alive. For too long you’ve set aside the dreams I’ve given you. You let them sit so long that you’ve forgotten, left them as if dead. Arise and walk in new strength. Do not be complacent. Speak my words aloud. Stir up your spirit. It is time. Shake off the dormancy. Exercise what I have within you that you may grow. I say to you, get up. Open your eyes and reach out your hands. The kingdom of heaven is at hand.   When the Lord saw her, he had compassion for her and said to her, “Do not weep.” Then he came up and touched the bier, and those who carried it stood still. He said, “Young man, I say to you, get up!” So the dead man sat up and began to speak, and Jesus gave him back to his mother. Luke 7:13-15 (NET)

raised from the dead

When Elisha arrived at the house, there was the child lying dead on his bed. He went in by himself and closed the door. Then he prayed to the LORD. He got up on the bed and spread his body out over the boy; he put his mouth on the boy’s mouth, his eyes over the boy’s eyes, and the palms of his hands against the boy’s palms. He bent down over him, and the boy’s skin grew warm. Elisha went back and walked around in the house. Then he got up on the bed again and bent down over him. The child sneezed seven times and opened his eyes. Elisha called to Gehazi and said, “Get the Shunammite woman.” So he did so and she came to him. He said to her, “Take your son.” 2 Kings 4:32-36 (NET)

he cried out to the LORD

"Give me your son," Elijah replied. He took him from her arms, carried him to the upper room where he was staying, and laid him on his bed. Then he cried out to the LORD, "O LORD my God, have you brought tragedy also upon this widow I am staying with, by causing her son to die?" Then he stretched himself out on the boy three times and cried to the LORD, "O LORD my God, let this boy's life return to him!" The LORD heard Elijah's cry, and the boy's life returned to him, and he lived.  1 Kings 17:19-22 (NIV)

the table of bread

“You must take choice wheat flour and bake twelve loaves; there must be two tenths of an ephah of flour in each loaf, and you must set them in two rows, six in a row, on the ceremonially pure table before the LORD. You must put pure frankincense on each row, and it will become a memorial portion for the bread, a gift to the LORD. Each Sabbath day Aaron must arrange it before the LORD continually; this portion is from the Israelites as a perpetual covenant. Leviticus 24:5-8 (NET)

in remembrance of Me

Then He took a loaf [of bread], and when He had given thanks, He broke [it] and gave it to them saying, This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me. Luke 22:19 (AMP)

Mark's remembrance of a feeding

But they said, "We have only five small loaves of bread and two fish." Jesus asked his disciples to bring the food to him, and he told the crowd to sit down on the grass. Jesus took the five loaves and the two fish. He looked up toward heaven and blessed the food. Then he broke the bread and handed it to his disciples, and they gave it to the people. After everyone had eaten all they wanted, Jesus' disciples picked up twelve large baskets of leftovers. Matthew 14:17-20 (CEV)

Old Testament preview of the New Testament loaves and fishes

A man came from Baal-shalishah, bringing the man of God bread of the firstfruits, twenty loaves of barley and fresh ears of grain in his sack. And Elisha said, “Give to the men, that they may eat.” But his servant said, “How can I set this before a hundred men?” So he repeated, “Give them to the men, that they may eat, for thus says the LORD, ‘They shall eat and have some left.’ ” So he set it before them. And they ate and had some left, according to the word of the LORD. 2 Kings 4:42-44 (ESV)

I will be found

When the LORD saw that he had turned aside to look, God called to him from within the bush and said, “Moses, Moses!” And Moses said, “Here I am.” Exodus 3:4 (NET) As the light of the sun warms the atmosphere rising energy is released. It is time for you to be lifted up in the light of the Son. Look: I am here. I’ve been waiting for you to slow your walk and turn aside. Turn aside to me and I will answer. Drawing nearer and I will call out your name. Allow me to draw you near. It is time that you again grow in the ways I have for you. Look for me and I will be found.

in our midst

The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our Refuge (our Fortress and High Tower). Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]! Come, behold the works of the Lord, Who has wrought desolations and wonders in the earth. He makes wars to cease to the end of the earth; He breaks the bow into pieces and snaps the spear in two; He burns the chariots in the fire. Let be and be still, and know (recognize and understand) that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations! I will be exalted in the earth! The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our Refuge (our High Tower and Stronghold). Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]! Psalm 46:7-11 (AMP)

the spirit of God moving

As I watched, I noticed a windstorm coming from the north — an enormous cloud, with lightning flashing, such that bright light rimmed it and came from it like glowing amber from the middle of a fire. In the fire were what looked like four living beings. In their appearance they had human form, but each had four faces and four wings. Their legs were straight, but the soles of their feet were like calves’ feet. They gleamed like polished bronze. They had human hands under their wings on their four sides. As for the faces and wings of the four of them, their wings touched each other; they did not turn as they moved, but went straight ahead. Ezekiel 1:4-9 (NET)

verse of first mention

So now restore to the man his wife, for he is a prophet, and he will pray for you and you will live. But if you do not restore her [to him], know that you shall surely die, you and all who are yours. Genesis 20:7 (AMP)

a time for healing

But for you who fear my name, the sun of righteousness shall rise with healing in its wings. You shall go out leaping like calves from the stall. Malachi 4:2 (ESV)

sometimes God is standing nearby and we see him not…

Now the boy Samuel continued serving the LORD under Eli’s supervision. Word from the LORD was rare in those days; revelatory visions were infrequent. 1 Samuel 3:1 (NET) Then the LORD came and stood nearby, calling as he had previously done, “Samuel! Samuel!” Samuel replied, “Speak, for your servant is listening!” The LORD said to Samuel, “Look! I am about to do something in Israel; when anyone hears about it, both of his ears will tingle. 1 Samuel 3:10-11 (NET)

getting carried away…

Then a wind lifted me up and I heard a great rumbling sound behind me as the glory of the LORD rose from its place, and the sound of the living beings’ wings brushing against each other, and the sound of the wheels alongside them, a great rumbling sound. A wind lifted me up and carried me away. I went bitterly, my spirit full of fury, and the hand of the LORD rested powerfully on me. Ezekiel 3:12-14 (NET)

a view about the throne from John

Also before the throne there was what looked like a sea of glass, clear as crystal. In the center, around the throne, were four living creatures, and they were covered with eyes, in front and in back. The first living creature was like a lion, the second was like an ox, the third had a face like a man, the fourth was like a flying eagle. Each of the four living creatures had six wings and was covered with eyes all around, even under his wings. Day and night they never stop saying: "Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come." Revelation 4:6-8 (NIV)

under his wings

He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. Psalm 91:4 (NIV) I caught a glimpse of this verse Sunday. During service pastor had the elders and leaders in the aisles praying for those who needed prayer. I felt a large darkness over-shadow the congregation. When I looked up, I could see a wing, and it’s feathers. It left a sense of peacefulness and safety.

God’s way

" The wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound of it, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going; so is everyone who is born of the Spirit."  John 3:8 (NASB77)

I am sending you

Now the Angel of the LORD came and sat under the terebinth tree which was in Ophrah, which belonged to Joash the Abiezrite, while his son Gideon threshed wheat in the winepress, in order to hide it from the Midianites. And the Angel of the LORD appeared to him, and said to him, "The LORD is with you, you mighty man of valor!" Judges 6:11-12 It is time for you to come out. Stop hiding in the winepress. You have been working in places I have not meant for you to be. You know whom you are.  Now believe me and what I've said to you. You are like Gideon cowering in the winepress, yet the one who led my people. I have formed you with purpose. You are created and formed for the purposes of moving forward my kingdom. My ways reside within you. What you need is available. You have been found strong through the pressure of my guidance. The enemy looks away from your eyes, as he sees me when he looks at you. Shed the cover of night. Come forth from beneath that press. I am

The splendor of the LORD

“Arise! Shine! For your light arrives! The splendor of the LORD shines on you! For, look, darkness covers the earth and deep darkness covers the nations, but the LORD shines on you; his splendor appears over you. Isaiah 60:1-2 (NET)

do not be silent

The Lord said to Paul by a vision in the night, “Do not be afraid, but speak and do not be silent, because I am with you, and no one will assault you to harm you, because I have many people in this city.” So he stayed there a year and six months, teaching the word of God among them. Acts 18:9-11 (NET)

Word for Maria

Word for Maria Deck You may see darkness, but I am much more. I am opening up in you a new horizon. I will push away the darkness. Through you my truth will dispel lies. I know and you know that what they say are lies. Continue to trust in me.

I have made you

As for you, son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel. Whenever you hear a word from my mouth, you must warn them on my behalf.  Ezekiel 33:7 (NET)

Keep looking

It has been a cool spring. It is very wet and rainy in our area of the country. But lately I’ve seen the green thicken in the woodsy area where I walk the dogs. Places where I few weeks ago I could see several hundred feet into the woods, where now the view is quickly obstructed with thickness and depth. Today as I was walking I heard God say, Be more like the dogs. Look forward with expectation. Look past the obvious, through the expected and into what I shall show you. Keep looking. This is not a time to be disquieted by what you don't see or think you should see. Allow me to direct you. Do not always be looking for what you already know, but allow me bring newness into your vision. If you trust me I will open you into a new world. Allow me to align your ways with my ways, to bring my thoughts into your being and interpret them with my lens.

messengers

Manoah said to the LORD’s messenger, “Please stay here awhile, so we can prepare a young goat for you to eat.” The LORD’s messenger said to Manoah, “If I stay, I will not eat your food. But if you want to make a burnt sacrifice to the LORD, you should offer it.” (He said this because Manoah did not know that he was the LORD’s messenger.) Manoah said to the LORD’s messenger, “Tell us your name, so we can honor you when your announcement comes true.” The LORD’s messenger said to him, “You should not ask me my name, because you cannot comprehend it.” Manoah took a young goat and a grain offering and offered them on a rock to the LORD. The LORD’s messenger did an amazing thing as Manoah and his wife watched. As the flame went up from the altar toward the sky, the LORD’s messenger went up in it while Manoah and his wife watched. They fell facedown to the ground. Judges 13:15-20 (NET)

You shall crossover

Then the priests who bore the ark of the covenant of the LORD stood firm on dry ground in the midst of the Jordan; and all Israel crossed over on dry ground, until all the people had crossed completely over the Jordan. Joshua 3:16-17 (NKJV) You are my priests of righteousness. Though the river is vast and overflowing, I will show the way. My glory will be revealed. You shall crossover and take procession into the land I’ve set for you have. You can be secure walking where I have set your feet. You shall cross over and conquer the inhabitants of the land. You shall dispossess them, eating of the fruit of the land. You shall tear down strongholds of fear and ignorance. In me you will plant seeds of hope and raise fruits of righteousness. Do not fear the storms which shall come at you. I am yet in control. In my authority speak to those things which must change.

set in order

And moreover, because the Preacher was wise, he still taught the people knowledge; yes, he pondered and sought out and set in order many proverbs. Ecclesiastes 12:9 (NKJV)

another back to life

Soon afterwards Jesus went to a town called Nain, and his followers and a large crowd traveled with him. When he came near the town gate, he saw a funeral. A mother, who was a widow, had lost her only son. A large crowd from the town was with the mother while her son was being carried out. When the Lord saw her, he felt very sorry for her and said, “Don’t cry.“ He went up and touched the coffin, and the people who were carrying it stopped. Jesus said, “Young man, I tell you, get up!“ And the son sat up and began to talk. Then Jesus gave him back to his mother. Luke 7:11-15 (NCV)

A resurrection foretaste

Elisha, was a prophetic forerunner of the Messiah. He wielded authority, yet had the touch of healing and the miraculous, as he brought back to life the son. Here we see one example of the resurrection from the dead. He said to her, “Take your son.”  She came in, fell at his feet, and bowed down. Then she picked up her son and left. 2 Kings 4:32-37 (NE

an issue of believing…

When it was evening on the first day of the week, the followers were together. The doors were locked, because they were afraid of the Jews. Then Jesus came and stood right in the middle of them and said, “Peace be with you.“ After he said this, he showed them his hands and his side. The followers were thrilled when they saw the Lord. Then Jesus said again, “Peace be with you. As the Father sent me, I now send you.“ After he said this, he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive anyone his sins, they are forgiven. If you don’t forgive them, they are not forgiven.“ John 20:19-23 (NCV)

the whole country became dark

At noon the whole country became dark, and the darkness lasted for three hours. About three o’clock Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?“ This means, “My God, my God, why have you rejected me?“ Some of the people standing there who heard this said, “He is calling Elijah.“ Quickly one of them ran and got a sponge and filled it with vinegar and tied it to a stick and gave it to Jesus to drink. But the others said, “Don’t bother him. We want to see if Elijah will come to save him.“ But Jesus cried out again in a loud voice and died. Matthew 27:45-50 (NCV)

the place of safety

HE WHO dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty [Whose power no foe can withstand]. I will say of the Lord, He is my Refuge and my Fortress, my God; on Him I lean and rely, and in Him I [confidently] trust! For [then] He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence. [Then] He will cover you with His pinions, and under His wings shall you trust and find refuge; His truth and His faithfulness are a shield and a buckler. You shall not be afraid of the terror of the night, nor of the arrow (the evil plots and slanders of the wicked) that flies by day, Nor of the pestilence that stalks in darkness, nor of the destruction and sudden death that surprise and lay waste at noonday. Psalm 91:1-6 (AMP)

angels that gather

He answered, “The one who sows the good seed is the Son of Man. The field is the world, and the good seed is the sons of the kingdom. The weeds are the sons of the evil one, and the enemy who sowed them is the devil. The harvest is the close of the age, and the reapers are angels. Just as the weeds are gathered and burned with fire, so will it be at the close of the age. The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will gather out of his kingdom all causes of sin and all law-breakers, and throw them into the fiery furnace. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear. Matthew 13:37-43 (ESV)

Do we really believe this?

I tell you the solemn truth, the person who believes in me will perform the miraculous deeds that I am doing, and will perform greater deeds than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it. John 14:12-14 (NET)

His people

For this is what the LORD Almighty says: "After he has honored me and has sent me against the nations that have plundered you--for whoever touches you touches the apple of his eye--  Zechariah 2:8 (NIV)

two views of the entry into Jerusalem

As they approached Jerusalem and came to Bethphage and Bethany at the Mount of Olives, Jesus sent two of his disciples, saying to them, "Go to the village ahead of you, and just as you enter it, you will find a colt tied there, which no one has ever ridden. Untie it and bring it here. If anyone asks you, 'Why are you doing this?' tell him, 'The Lord needs it and will send it back here shortly.'" They went and found a colt outside in the street, tied at a doorway. As they untied it, some people standing there asked, "What are you doing, untying that colt?" They answered as Jesus had told them to, and the people let them go. When they brought the colt to Jesus and threw their cloaks over it, he sat on it. Many people spread their cloaks on the road, while others spread branches they had cut in the fields. Those who went ahead and those who followed shouted, "Hosanna!" "Blessed is he who comes in the name o

let the prophets speak

How are you this day? Is there clarity and order in your life? Are their internal voices inciting conflict? It need not be that way. Consider this: You can all prophesy one after the other. In this way all the people can be taught and encouraged. The spirits of prophets are under the control of the prophets themselves. God is not a God of confusion but a God of peace. As is true in all the churches of God’s people, 1 Corinthians 14:31-33 (NCV) If what you hear is divisive and contrary perhaps you are not listening to the proper voices. You have a decision into the voices you hear and those you allow to bring influence into your life.

each one

But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of the gift of Christ. Ephesians 4:7 (NET)

train them

Listen from your home in heaven, forgive the sins of your servants, your people Israel. Then start over with them: Train them to live right and well; send rain on the land you gave your people as an inheritance.  1 Kings 8:36 (MSG)

the presence of the LORD

Moses took the tent and pitched it outside the camp, at a good distance from the camp, and he called it the tent of meeting. Anyone seeking the LORD would go out to the tent of meeting that was outside the camp. And when Moses went out to the tent, all the people would get up and stand at the entrance to their tents and watch Moses until he entered the tent. And whenever Moses entered the tent, the pillar of cloud would descend and stand at the entrance of the tent, and the LORD would speak with Moses. Exodus 33:7-9 (NET)

do the two-step

But he replied, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it!” Luke 11:28 (NET1)

a short time of training

I had left a bit early this morning as I wanted to get some work done. As I was approaching my destination I could see flashing red lights ahead of me. Oh no, I thought. I was stopped as I watched the many cars of a train pass by. As soon as I mentally said that, I heard father speak several things to be considered. Several of you are coming to the end of this destination, but their will be another short time of training. Be alert and do not waste what you will be shown. No matter where we are in our journey, training is always a possibility. How many times are we in a hurry and are disappointed to be stopped for training? The train was providing goods for distribution. Just are there are several types of cars on that train there are several types of training.
