You shall crossover

Then the priests who bore the ark of the covenant of the LORD stood firm on dry ground in the midst of the Jordan; and all Israel crossed over on dry ground, until all the people had crossed completely over the Jordan. Joshua 3:16-17 (NKJV) You are my priests of righteousness. Though the river is vast and overflowing, I will show the way. My glory will be revealed. You shall crossover and take procession into the land I’ve set for you have. You can be secure walking where I have set your feet. You shall cross over and conquer the inhabitants of the land. You shall dispossess them, eating of the fruit of the land. You shall tear down strongholds of fear and ignorance. In me you will plant seeds of hope and raise fruits of righteousness. Do not fear the storms which shall come at you. I am yet in control. In my authority speak to those things which must change.

set in order

And moreover, because the Preacher was wise, he still taught the people knowledge; yes, he pondered and sought out and set in order many proverbs. Ecclesiastes 12:9 (NKJV)

another back to life

Soon afterwards Jesus went to a town called Nain, and his followers and a large crowd traveled with him. When he came near the town gate, he saw a funeral. A mother, who was a widow, had lost her only son. A large crowd from the town was with the mother while her son was being carried out. When the Lord saw her, he felt very sorry for her and said, “Don’t cry.“ He went up and touched the coffin, and the people who were carrying it stopped. Jesus said, “Young man, I tell you, get up!“ And the son sat up and began to talk. Then Jesus gave him back to his mother. Luke 7:11-15 (NCV)

A resurrection foretaste

Elisha, was a prophetic forerunner of the Messiah. He wielded authority, yet had the touch of healing and the miraculous, as he brought back to life the son. Here we see one example of the resurrection from the dead. When Elisha arrived at the house, there was the child lying dead on his bed. He went in by himself and closed the door. Then he prayed to the LORD. He got up on the bed and spread his body out over the boy; he put his mouth on the boy’s mouth, his eyes over the boy’s eyes, and the palms of his hands against the boy’s palms. He bent down over him, and the boy’s skin grew warm. Elisha went back and walked around in the house. Then he got up on the bed again and bent down over him. The child sneezed seven times and opened his eyes. Elisha called to Gehazi and said, “Get the Shunammite woman.” So he did so and she came to him. He said to her, “Take your son.”  She came in, fell at his feet, and bowed down. Then she picked up her son and left. 2 Kings 4:32-37 (NE

an issue of believing…

When it was evening on the first day of the week, the followers were together. The doors were locked, because they were afraid of the Jews. Then Jesus came and stood right in the middle of them and said, “Peace be with you.“ After he said this, he showed them his hands and his side. The followers were thrilled when they saw the Lord. Then Jesus said again, “Peace be with you. As the Father sent me, I now send you.“ After he said this, he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive anyone his sins, they are forgiven. If you don’t forgive them, they are not forgiven.“ John 20:19-23 (NCV)

the whole country became dark

At noon the whole country became dark, and the darkness lasted for three hours. About three o’clock Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?“ This means, “My God, my God, why have you rejected me?“ Some of the people standing there who heard this said, “He is calling Elijah.“ Quickly one of them ran and got a sponge and filled it with vinegar and tied it to a stick and gave it to Jesus to drink. But the others said, “Don’t bother him. We want to see if Elijah will come to save him.“ But Jesus cried out again in a loud voice and died. Matthew 27:45-50 (NCV)

the place of safety

HE WHO dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty [Whose power no foe can withstand]. I will say of the Lord, He is my Refuge and my Fortress, my God; on Him I lean and rely, and in Him I [confidently] trust! For [then] He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence. [Then] He will cover you with His pinions, and under His wings shall you trust and find refuge; His truth and His faithfulness are a shield and a buckler. You shall not be afraid of the terror of the night, nor of the arrow (the evil plots and slanders of the wicked) that flies by day, Nor of the pestilence that stalks in darkness, nor of the destruction and sudden death that surprise and lay waste at noonday. Psalm 91:1-6 (AMP)

angels that gather

He answered, “The one who sows the good seed is the Son of Man. The field is the world, and the good seed is the sons of the kingdom. The weeds are the sons of the evil one, and the enemy who sowed them is the devil. The harvest is the close of the age, and the reapers are angels. Just as the weeds are gathered and burned with fire, so will it be at the close of the age. The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will gather out of his kingdom all causes of sin and all law-breakers, and throw them into the fiery furnace. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear. Matthew 13:37-43 (ESV)

Do we really believe this?

I tell you the solemn truth, the person who believes in me will perform the miraculous deeds that I am doing, and will perform greater deeds than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it. John 14:12-14 (NET)

His people

For this is what the LORD Almighty says: "After he has honored me and has sent me against the nations that have plundered you--for whoever touches you touches the apple of his eye--  Zechariah 2:8 (NIV)

two views of the entry into Jerusalem

As they approached Jerusalem and came to Bethphage and Bethany at the Mount of Olives, Jesus sent two of his disciples, saying to them, "Go to the village ahead of you, and just as you enter it, you will find a colt tied there, which no one has ever ridden. Untie it and bring it here. If anyone asks you, 'Why are you doing this?' tell him, 'The Lord needs it and will send it back here shortly.'" They went and found a colt outside in the street, tied at a doorway. As they untied it, some people standing there asked, "What are you doing, untying that colt?" They answered as Jesus had told them to, and the people let them go. When they brought the colt to Jesus and threw their cloaks over it, he sat on it. Many people spread their cloaks on the road, while others spread branches they had cut in the fields. Those who went ahead and those who followed shouted, "Hosanna!" "Blessed is he who comes in the name o

let the prophets speak

How are you this day? Is there clarity and order in your life? Are their internal voices inciting conflict? It need not be that way. Consider this: You can all prophesy one after the other. In this way all the people can be taught and encouraged. The spirits of prophets are under the control of the prophets themselves. God is not a God of confusion but a God of peace. As is true in all the churches of God’s people, 1 Corinthians 14:31-33 (NCV) If what you hear is divisive and contrary perhaps you are not listening to the proper voices. You have a decision into the voices you hear and those you allow to bring influence into your life.

each one

But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of the gift of Christ. Ephesians 4:7 (NET)

train them

Listen from your home in heaven, forgive the sins of your servants, your people Israel. Then start over with them: Train them to live right and well; send rain on the land you gave your people as an inheritance.  1 Kings 8:36 (MSG)

the presence of the LORD

Moses took the tent and pitched it outside the camp, at a good distance from the camp, and he called it the tent of meeting. Anyone seeking the LORD would go out to the tent of meeting that was outside the camp. And when Moses went out to the tent, all the people would get up and stand at the entrance to their tents and watch Moses until he entered the tent. And whenever Moses entered the tent, the pillar of cloud would descend and stand at the entrance of the tent, and the LORD would speak with Moses. Exodus 33:7-9 (NET)

do the two-step

But he replied, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it!” Luke 11:28 (NET1)

a short time of training

I had left a bit early this morning as I wanted to get some work done. As I was approaching my destination I could see flashing red lights ahead of me. Oh no, I thought. I was stopped as I watched the many cars of a train pass by. As soon as I mentally said that, I heard father speak several things to be considered. Several of you are coming to the end of this destination, but their will be another short time of training. Be alert and do not waste what you will be shown. No matter where we are in our journey, training is always a possibility. How many times are we in a hurry and are disappointed to be stopped for training? The train was providing goods for distribution. Just are there are several types of cars on that train there are several types of training.

Like sheep

Yes, I have sent you out to those about you. But are your actions like the sheep or more like the wolves? You can do all things through me. Your blessing of peace should be more evident that your name. I have not sent you to harass those who are not ready. Heal the sick. Stay where you are wanted; leave where I am rejected. Be like sheep. They respond to the voice of their master. After this, the Lord chose seventy-two others and sent them out in pairs ahead of him into every town and place where he planned to go. He said to them, “There are a great many people to harvest, but there are only a few workers. So pray to God, who owns the harvest, that he will send more workers to help gather his harvest. Go now, but listen! I am sending you out like sheep among wolves. Luke 10:1-3 (NCV)

I am sending you

He called the Twelve together and gave them power and authority over all devils and to cure diseases, and he sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal. Luke 9:1-2 (NJB) This day I heard the Father say, Get up. Arise and begin to do the things you should be doing. Let my love be shown. Arise above the atmosphere about you. You have much learning, but before you can be promoted you need to practice the things I have shown you. You need to step boldly forth when I direct you. Awaken yourself to the opportunities to spread my light. Use the gifts within you. You want more of me. We are in agreement. I want more of you. Allow my gifts to work and flow through you. Come out from beneath what is holding you back. Let my light shine, dispelling the darkness. So they set out and went from village to village proclaiming the good news and healing everywhere. Luke 9:6 (NJB)

a true teaching

This teaching is true: If we died with him, we will also live with him. If we accept suffering, we will also rule with him. If we refuse to accept him, he will refuse to accept us. If we are not faithful, he will still be faithful, because he cannot be false to himself. 2 Timothy 2:11-13 (NCV)

make yourself ready

Then Joshua told the people, “Make yourselves holy, because tomorrow the LORD will do amazing things among you.“ Joshua 3:5 (NCV)

Words for you to consider

Jennifer: You ask why. You feel isolated and alone. Father says this desert time is soon coming to an end. Don't give up. Yes Robert, I am still the healer. Look upon my face. Reach out in belief and you will find what you need. Julie: You are right. It is not fair. The enemy steals away what can be taken. His constant distractions are to keep you off track, and away from seeking me. He is a liar, twisting the Word. For Jennifer: I am smiling at you. Continue in what I have set in your heart. My ways will prevail. Sing to me. Louis/Lois The air is disturbed, yet I will do what I said I would. Give give comfort. Continue to be the encourager. I have set that within you. You may find one of the above for you, despite the named person it is for. This is the time to start releasing. Bondages will be be broken. Those that have will be gaining more. I will prevail. I am displacing the darkness through

promises to the Zadok priesthood

The LORD said: The priests of the Levi tribe who are descendants of Zadok the priest were faithful to me, even when the rest of the Israelites turned away. And so, these priests will continue to serve as my priests and to offer the fat and the blood of sacrifices. They will come into my temple, where they will offer sacrifices at my altar and lead others in worship. When they come to the inner courtyard, they must wear their linen priestly clothes. My priests must never wear anything made of wool when they are on duty in this courtyard or in the temple. Even their turbans and underwear must be made of linen to keep my priests from sweating when they work. And before they leave to join the other people in the outer courtyard, they must take off their priestly clothes, then place them in the sacred rooms and put on their regular clothes. That way, no one will touch their sacred clothes and be harmed.  Ezekiel 44:15-19 (CEV)

he’s now talking to you

Sometimes with all of our understanding, we hear clearly, yet do not hear or comprehend. Jesus took the twelve apostles aside and said: We are now on our way to Jerusalem. Everything that the prophets wrote about the Son of Man will happen there. He will be handed over to foreigners, who will make fun of him, mistreat him, and spit on him. They will beat him and kill him, but three days later he will rise to life. The apostles did not understand what Jesus was talking about. They could not understand, because the meaning of what he said was hidden from them. Luke 18:31-34 (CEV)
