The commandment of Hakhel

And Moses commanded them, saying, “At the end of every seven years, in the solemnity of the year of release, in the feast of tabernacles, When all Israel is come to appear before the Lord thy God in the place which he shall choose, thou shalt read this law before all Israel in their hearing. Gather the people together, men and women, and children, and thy stranger that is within thy gates, that they may hear, and that they may learn, and fear the Lord your God, and observe to do all the words of this law.”   Deuteronomy 31:10-12

what would you do different?

I was recently questioning father-God about several things; one relating to ones gifting/calling and the general genre. As I have come to expect, I did hear a clear answer for myself, but know too it is for the many who yet toss about the same set of questions. His answer: If I have called you a prophet, what would you do different? Take heart and grow. I will grow stronger through you as you step beyond the perceived borders.

the word stands

The grass withers, the flower fades, But the word of our God stands forever.   Isaiah 40:8 (AMP)

the established covenant

So I will establish my covenant with you, and you will know that I am the Lord.  Then, when I make atonement for you for all you have done, you will remember and be ashamed and never again open your mouth because of your humiliation, declares the Sovereign Lord.  Ezekiel 16: 62-63 (NIV)

For the Davids

This day I pronounce my favor upon you and your life. I speak peace and a new anointing of justice.  You will be sent into new worlds you have not yet travelled and I will flow through you to those I have called.  I am again calling you, yet now setting my seal of approval upon your forehead.   My peace I now breath upon your life.

Ask for what you need

Don’t bargain with God. Be direct. Ask for what you need. This isn’t a cat-and-mouse, hide-and-seek game we’re in. If your child asks for bread, do you trick him with sawdust? If he asks for fish, do you scare him with a live snake on his plate? As bad as you are, you wouldn’t think of such a thing. You’re at least decent to your own children. So don’t you think the God who conceived you in love will be even better. Matthew 7:7-11 (MSG)   Come to me; draw closer. Stand securely beneath my shadow. Beware: seek and you will find, so be seeking the things from above. Do not allow the enemy to be your supply. His abundance will spill into poison as he seeks to trap you in your needs. Be sure in asking from me, for I will supply what you need. I will grant you more so you might share with others in need. Do not hesitate, but come to me.  Cast away the fear the enemy has given as entrapment. Lose yourself in me and find what you need. Come unto me and receive my peace. Draw near to me ea

territories

He marks out the horizon on the face of the waters     for a boundary between light and darkness. The pillars of the heavens quake,     aghast at his rebuke. By his power he churned up the sea;     by his wisdom he cut Rahab to pieces.         Job 26:10-12 (NIV)

Hope

I am sending hope. Are you cooperating?  Are you willing to reach out so My hope flows to those who are in need?

the Helper (if we allow)

"But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you" (John 14:26).

for now…

But one day, when Jesus arrives, we will see clearly, face-to-face. In that day, I will fully know just as I have been wholly known by God.  But now faith, hope, and love remain; these three virtues must characterize our lives. The greatest of these is love.  I Corinthians 13:12b-13 (Voice)

prepare

Prepare your heart to receive from me. Empty it of the evil which was come against you. Allow me to wash you and remove the fear and anger, replacing them with my fullness.  I shall again pull down the altars of iniquity. I will punish those who conspire evil. They shall not stand against me, or my people. I am rebuilding my people and mobilizing them. My government has not changed.  I will be their ruler. I will provide my shield of covering. I will  again go before them and be their rear guard. Have no fear, other than knowing to ignore hat I have directed you to do. My covering is available. My anointing will be smeared upon your head, covering you in completeness. My love will come upon any and all who call upon my name. Prepare yourself, for my kingdom is here.

my favor and authority

"Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes."   Isaiah 54:2 (NIV)

ready yourselves

Behold, the ark of the covenant of the Lord of all the earth is crossing over ahead of you into the Jordan.  Joshua 3:11 (NASB)

the revealer

It is He who reveals the profound and hidden things; He knows what is in the darkness, And the light dwells with Him.  Daniel 2:22 (NASB)

Go back

One day this week the sun was shining brightly onto my parched lawn.  I heard something and looked outside to see it raining. There were large drops of unexpected rain coming from the sky. I heard Papa say, 2:22. He said, "Bring me a new jar, and put salt in it." So they brought it to him. He went out to the spring of water and threw salt in it and said, "Thus says the LORD, 'I have purified these waters; there shall not be from there death or unfruitfulness any longer.'" So the waters have been purified to this day, according to the word of Elisha which he spoke.”  ‭‭     2 Kings‬ ‭2:20-22‬ ‭NASB‬‬ Go Back. Go back to where I first spoke with you. Return to the seeking and your expectant asking of me.  Those words have not changed. They yet give direction and bring comfort. Read again the words. Speak them aloud so your ears can hear them. Repeat them so you might again draw from them.  Meditate upon who I am. Allow my peace to blanket you. Do not become

Two camps

Jacob also went on his way, and the angels of God met him. When Jacob saw them, he said, “This is the camp of God!” So he named that place Mahanaim. Genesis 32:1-2 (NIV)

understanding

“Give me understanding, so that I may keep your law and obey it with all my heart. Direct me in the path of your commands, for there I find delight. Turn my heart toward your statutes and not toward selfish gain. Turn my eyes away from worthless things; preserve my life according to your word.”  Psalm 119:34-37 (NIV)
