benefits of meditation

How sweet are Your words to my taste, Sweeter than honey to my mouth!  Through Your precepts I get understanding; Therefore I hate every false way.  Psalm 119:103-104 (NKJV)

requirements

He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God. Micah 6:8 (NIV)

ways of revelation

He reveals the deep things of darkness and brings deep shadows into the light. Job 12:22 (NIV)

I am with you

Know that I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you." Genesis 28:15 (NRSV) Despite what your enemies may tell you or even that your friends think, I am yet with you. Do not be discouraged, but continue after me. I will lead you in my pathways. Have I not shown you my protection? I am not fickle; My ways do not change. I will keep you safe wherever you shall travel. You are of my family. You carry my name upon your heart. You are not alone, I will not leave you. My promises will yet be revealed in your life. My creative words are alive. Stand firm, I am with you.

Is this your desire?

You should seek after love, and you should truly want to have the spiritual gifts, especially the gift of prophecy. I will explain why. Those who have the gift of speaking in different languages are not speaking to people; they are speaking to God. No one understands them; they are speaking secret things through the Spirit. But those who prophesy are speaking to people to give them strength, encouragement, and comfort. 1 Corinthians 14:1-3 (NCV)

follow the leading and see

When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth; for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come.  John 16:13 (RSV)

it’s time to follow direction

God said to Jacob, "Arise, go up to Bethel, and settle there. Make an altar there to the God who appeared to you when you fled from your brother Esau." Genesis 35:1 (NRSV)

the invitation

Blessed, whoever listens to me, who day after day keeps watch at my gates to guard my portals.  Proverbs 8:34 (NJB)

…I am with you to deliver you

Then the LORD put forth his hand and touched my mouth; and the LORD said to me, "Behold, I have put my words in your mouth. Jeremiah 1:9 (RSV)

the work of Holy Spirit

"I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth; for he will not speak on his own, but will speak whatever he hears, and he will declare to you the things that are to come. John 16:12-13 (NRSV)

Prepare the conductors

As I drove to work this morning I heard Father say, “Prepare the conductors. It is time for some to step into their calling”. Immediately I was given three sets of conductors: Train conductors, orchestra conductors and electrical/power conductors. The train conductor takes large groups of people and supplies across on long journeys. They touch several areas of the land in different ways than most. Their job is often over-looked. They have long, night hours. In the eyes of the world they may seem insignificant. But I say, Not so. They work long hours and in all types of weather. Their course is load out before them. The passenger are ready to be delivered where needed. provision is sent to the needy. Orchestra conductors give direction for the sound of God to come forth. Before them sit an army of musicians, each specifically prepared. They sit in the forefront of their army. Their conductive energy brings out the best of those around them. They draw out the vibrato where needed a

how is your vision today?

"Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. Matthew 5:8 (NRSV)

you are sent ones

And having called together the twelve, he gave them power and authority over all demons, and to heal diseases, and sent them to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal the sick. And he said to them, Take nothing for the way, neither staff, nor scrip, nor bread, nor money; nor to have two body-coats apiece. Luke 9:1-3 (Darby)

directions for living

But you, beloved, build yourselves up on your most holy faith; pray in the Holy Spirit; keep yourselves in the love of God; look forward to the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life. And have mercy on some who are wavering; save others by snatching them out of the fire; and have mercy on still others with fear, hating even the tunic defiled by their bodies. Jude 1:20-23 (NRSV)

for those known as John

A word for a specific John, and those of like heart: I do have a word for you from Father.   I heard the word “cottage” and was shown a simple picture. It was one f a small cottage at the time of a winter dusk. There was a golden yellow light glowing from within.   You continue to ask if I hear you. I know you have been asking for more; a larger, deeper relationship with me.  Yes, it is possible. Let go of the past/current expectations you have. Release the view you have of of how I will use you.  My plan for you is not as how you are expecting it. Pursue me with expectation and watch it unfold. Listen to others as they speak into your life.   Hunger for me and knowing my heart. My bread is available to you.  Release the residual hidden ager. It will kill you. Release your anxiety so I might fill you with my supernatural peace.   I have not forgotten what I once told you. Renew your vision for me.

is it me?

And if I have a prophet's power, and have knowledge of all secret things; and if I have all faith, by which mountains may be moved from their place, but have not love, I am nothing. 1 Corinthians 13:2 (BBE)

in tough times and good

Yes, though I go through the valley of deep shade, I will have no fear of evil; for you are with me, your rod and your support are my comfort. You make ready a table for me in front of my haters: you put oil on my head; my cup is overflowing. Psalm 23:4-5 (BBE)

a word for those in need

May peace be with you; my peace I give to you: I give it not as the world gives. Let not your heart be troubled; let it be without fear. John 14:27 (BBE)

my friends

Your calling is made clear in my light. Spend time with me and questions will be answered. You need not be caught in the "what do I do" model, but be found in Jesus. Start afresh in me. Do not fear what you think is coming, but be grounded in my love. My light brings a great desire. It removes impurity. My love is true. It protects, always trusts, always gives and receives hope. My love perseveres throughout all time. In all you do, seek me. You are my friend, I will make myself available. You are my friends if you do what I command. I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master's business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.        John 15:14-15 (NIV)

importance of quiet time

Jesus went up on a mountainside and called to him those he wanted, and they came to him. He appointed twelve--designating them apostles--that they might be with him and that he might send them out to preach and to have authority to drive out demons. These are the twelve he appointed: Simon (to whom he gave the name Peter);  Mark 3:13-16 (NIV)

1/2/12

Stay in my word and near me;  Do not let your heart become hardened. Do not be deceived by the whispers which surround you. You are mine. And there rejoice before the LORD your God, you, your sons and daughters, your menservants and maidservants, and the Levites from your towns, who have no allotment or inheritance of their own. Deuteronomy 12:12 (NIV)

Do not be afraid

Then he got into the boat with them, and the wind became calm. The followers were greatly amazed. They did not understand about the miracle of the five loaves, because their minds were closed.   Mark 6:51-52 (NCV)
