Last Words

Jesus approached and, breaking the silence, said to them, All authority (all power of rule) in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Go then and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you, and behold, I am with you all the days (perpetually, uniformly, and on every occasion), to the [very] close and consummation of the age. Amen (so let it be). Matthew 28:18-20 (AMP)

speak and do not be silent

The Lord said to Paul by a vision in the night, “Do not be afraid, but speak and do not be silent,  Acts 18:9 (NET) Some of you are sensing the pressure, directly and indirectly. Do not fear. I am with you. Do not be afraid of what may seem before you. Go forward where my hand of direction is taking you. Speak my truth in love. Gather those cast away by society, families and friends. Speak and do not be silent. Allow my words of encouragement to flow through you and to those in need. Reach out so that they may know me.

a releasing of power

Jesus was on his way to heal Jairus’ 12 year old daughter when… And a woman who had had a flow of blood for twelve years and could not be healed by any one, came up behind him, and touched the fringe of his garment; and immediately her flow of blood ceased.  And Jesus said, "Who was it that touched me?" When all denied it, Peter said, "Master, the multitudes surround you and press upon you!" But Jesus said, "Some one touched me; for I perceive that power has gone forth from me." Luke 8:43-46 (RSV) For the youth to be healed, releasing Jesus power, the church must be healed of it’s issues. We must reach out and actively pursue the healing virtue for the sake of the next generation.

My words in your mouth

The words I have spoken are unchanged. They are as my name, unchangeable. I have written my ways into your being. They are inscribed upon your heart before you were known by others. They will come to pass as you continue to walk in my light.   Within you is a great light. It is a light to affect the world, dispelling darkness where you go. You shall speak my truth in love and it will liberate the captives. Healing and wholeness will appear where once was only desperation and fear.   You are my people, created in my image. Go in peace, setting free those held in bondage.   For I am the Lord your God, Who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar and Who by rebuke restrains it—the Lord of hosts is His name. And I have put My words in your mouth and have covered you with the shadow of My hand, that I may fix the [new] heavens as a tabernacle and lay the foundations of a [new] earth and say to Zion, You are My people. Isaiah 51:15-16 (AMP )

I am the LORD…

For I am the Lord your God, Who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar and Who by rebuke restrains it—the Lord of hosts is His name.  And I have put My words in your mouth and have covered you with the shadow of My hand, that I may fix the [new] heavens as a tabernacle and lay the foundations of a [new] earth and say to Zion, You are My people. Isaiah 51:15-16 (AMP)

as his child…

But to as many as did receive and welcome Him, He gave the authority (power, privilege, right) to become the children of God, that is, to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) His name— John 1:12 (AMP)

…therefore we also speak

It is written: "I believed; therefore I have spoken." With that same spirit of faith we also believe and therefore speak, because we know that the one who raised the Lord Jesus from the dead will also raise us with Jesus and present us with you in his presence. 2 Corinthians 4:13-14 (NIV)

learning to live as free

So Jesus said to those Jews who had believed in Him, If you abide in My word [hold fast to My teachings and live in accordance with them], you are truly My disciples. And you will know the Truth, and the Truth will set you free. John 8:31-32 (AMP)

who or what is your source?

And when He entered the sacred enclosure of the temple, the chief priests and elders of the people came up to Him as He was teaching and said, By what power of authority are You doing these things, and who gave You this power of authority? Matthew 21:23 (AMP)

in what to rejoice…

Look, I have given you authority to tread on snakes and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy; and nothing will hurt you. Nevertheless, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you; but rejoice that your names stand written in heaven." Luke 10:19-20 (NET)

receiving power and authority

After Jesus called the twelve together, he gave them power and authority over all demons and to cure diseases, and he sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal the sick. Luke 9:1-2 (NET)

authority and power

They were all amazed and began to say to one another, “What’s happening here? For with authority and power he commands the unclean spirits, and they come out!” So the news about him spread into all areas of the region. Luke 4:36-37 (NET)

as one who had authority

When Jesus had finished these sayings [the Sermon on the Mount], the crowds were astonished and overwhelmed with bewildered wonder at His teaching, For He was teaching as One Who had [and was] authority, and not as [did] the scribes. Matthew 7:28-29 (AMP)

Stir the vision

If people can't see what God is doing, they stumble all over themselves; But when they attend to what he reveals, they are most blessed. Proverbs 29:18 (MSG) The vision lies within. I have placed within your heart that which you were created to do.  Listen and attend to what I am saying. I will express myself within you. Examine the dreams I give you. What what excites you as you move through life. See what I am doing within you and attend to it's growth. Do not sit idle, but work towards what I show you.  Don't allow the vision to become dormant. Stretch forth and grow in your gifting. Allow my hand of blessing to come upon you.  My anointing will follow you as you move in my ways. It is time for you to reawaken. Stir the vision within

The Glory of the New Covenant

And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. 2 Corinthians 3:18 (NIV)

Are you teachable?

"Who is it he is trying to teach? To whom is he explaining his message? To children weaned from their milk, to those just taken from the breast? For it is: Do and do, do and do, rule on rule, rule on rule; a little here, a little there." Very well then, with foreign lips and strange tongues God will speak to this people, to whom he said, "This is the resting place, let the weary rest"; and, "This is the place of repose"-- but they would not listen. Isaiah 28:9-12 (NIV)

the intercession example

The next day Moses said to the people, "You have committed a great sin. But now I will go up to the LORD; perhaps I can make atonement for your sin." So Moses went back to the LORD and said, "Oh, what a great sin these people have committed! They have made themselves gods of gold. But now, please forgive their sin--but if not, then blot me out of the book you have written." The LORD replied to Moses, "Whoever has sinned against me I will blot out of my book. Now go, lead the people to the place I spoke of, and my angel will go before you. However, when the time comes for me to punish, I will punish them for their sin." Exodus 32:30-34 (NIV)

he learned obedience

During the days of Jesus' life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with loud cries and tears to the one who could save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission. Although he was a son, he learned obedience from what he suffered and, once made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him Hebrews 5:7-9 (NIV)

a living testimony

Indeed, as long as I am in this tabernacle, I consider it right to stir you up by way of a reminder, since I know that my tabernacle will soon be removed, because our Lord Jesus Christ revealed this to me. Indeed, I will also make every effort that, after my departure, you have a testimony of these things. 2 Peter 1:13-15 (NET)

being in the light

If we say we do not bear the guilt of sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us. But if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous, forgiving us our sins and cleansing us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:8-9 (NET)
