In an evening neighborhood walk I saw many lights of varying brightness and colors. “What is that” I thought as I saw a garage with a flashing white strobe. What does that mean?   We are to be like him.  Jesus calls himself the the light of the world ( John 8:12). He is to be our example. In Matthew 5:14 He tells us we are the light of the world.   We "see" all sorts of lights; sunlight, traffic lights, taillights, flashing police lights.. In our daily walk, we are expected to learn what they represent, or face the consequences. In fact, science now tells us that all matter is made of light.   Do we take the time to see what Jesus means? What is He trying to communicate with you?  Have you learned to yield and to advance? Are you learning to be a light to the world around you?

“Let love be your highest goal! But you should also desire the special abilities the Spirit gives—especially the ability to prophesy.” 1 Corinthians 14:1 (NLT)

Do not be discouraged. I am calling you, my people: Do not give up. I am calling you to stand upright and draw closer to me. Rely upon me for all things and in all situations. Stand secure beneath my covering.

The fire on the altar must be kept burning; it must not go out. Leviticus 6:12a (NIV) Father - Help me to be emptied of my self-wishes, that I can become more as you see the future-Steve. Too many times I am looking at my past and not where your eyes are guiding me.

There is a season for everything, and a time for every event under heaven:  a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to uproot what was planted. Ecclesiastes 3:1-2 We make the time to do those things we feel as important. What is important to you?  What are you doing?

It is time to deliver the mail.  Take what you have been given to the intended individual.

As I was on my Thursday late afternoon walk I found a nickel. It has been one way which Papa-God has used to communicate with me. I heard him say, “More change is coming.” As you see, I had received this Word on Thursday, but waited until Saturday to make it public. After posting it, I went on a Saturday morning walk with my dog, and decided to make a short stop at the grocery on the way home. There on the road way was the “answer”. There was more change waiting for me to collect it. There was an addition quarter, dime and two pennies.

You are a light in the darkness. Let your light be seen by others.

“Have faith in the Lord your God and you will be upheld; have faith in his prophets and you will be successful.” – 2 Chronicles 20:20

This is what the Lord says:    “In the time of my favor I will answer you,     and in the day of salvation I will help you; I will keep you and will make you     to be a covenant for the people, to restore the land     and to reassign its desolate inheritances Isaiah 49:8 (NIV)

As I was driving home Friday listening to the radio. I heard Father-God speak a pointed word. The word came from one announcer to the other radio co-host.   “You need to learn to protect your joy. Don’t let it be so easily stolen.”

  Sometimes God answers us in ways we are not expecting. I’ve recently been asking God for “answers”.  It came across my mind again today as I was driving back from an evening walk.  My eyes were directed to the city bus, just in front of me in the right lane.   What caught my eye was the number.  It was bus 17.  I asked him, is that supposed to mean something for me?  In the natural, I could blow it off, but, I had asked a question, and had received an answer, even if I did not initially understand the message.  Then I did some biblical checking on the bus number.  The number 17 is associated with victory, the restoration of all things, spiritual perfection, and perfect order. Do not be trapped in the sameness of your everyday life. You are unique. You were designed in my image of diversity. Walk with me, following my voice, my leading beyond your normal.   Follow the pathway which I shall take you. Do not rely upon what you think you know of me.  There is more for you to explore. As you come closer to me, you will see more.  Draw nearer to me. Do not be blinded by the poison of sameness. Become the image I shall show you.

  This is for those who wonder “where” I am.   The creature which caught my peripheral and then full attention as it “floated” in front and around me. I tested to see if it was floating as if attached to a spider web.  It was not. It moved about as if at will, moving towards or away from me, regardless where the breeze was blowing. I never did determine "what" this was, but it caught my attention.     You wonder “where” I am and what I am doing in your life.  Sometimes I am right in front of you, but you ignore me because you do not recognize what is happening. Take the time to investigate. Ask how you can represent me in “this” situation. You will learn that I am there to guide and direct in in my ways.

Be secure.  Let your contentment be in me.   Continue to walk in the pathway I reveal to you. I am leading you. You will see just enough to reach the next planned destination.
