My Direction

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation,
a people of his own, so that you may proclaim the virtues of the one
who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.

You once were not a people, but now you are God’s people.
You were shown no mercy, but now you have received mercy.

Yes, I have called and saved you.
I have given you my power to reach and touch others.
You are unique, filled with the dreams I have given to direct you.

Rely upon what I have placed within you and not upon
what your natural eyes show. Listen for me to move your heart,
to whisper my ways. Be alert for my direction.

My words bring encouragement. Let them soak into your life. My ways bring wholeness, for now and in the time yet to be revealed. I am active within your life. Rest in me and do not allow discouragement to affect you. My love for you is ever-growing. It reveals itself as you allow me to work. Replace what you don’t see with my assurance. My words will come to pass. They never fail. There is nothing I have shown you that I will not perform. Let the water of my living word refresh you.
