a morning prayer

I thank you Father.
You alone are holy.

You provide all which I need.
You show patience towards my me, placing me back
on the pathway created for my walk.

I thank you for the forgiveness of my sins.
Turn my eyes away from the darkness, but guide me
into the light which brings grace to the world.

Continue to cover me in the coming years with your grace
and mercy. Allow your glory to become a beacon of light.

Rest in me and do not allow discouragement to affect you. My love for you is ever-growing. It reveals itself as you allow me to work. Replace what you don’t see with my assurance. My words will come to pass. They never fail. There is nothing I have shown you that I will not perform. Let the water of my living word refresh you.
