When things are rocky

But the whole community began to talk about stoning
Joshua and Caleb.

Then the glorious presence of the Lord appeared
to all the Israelites at the Tabernacle.

And the Lord said to Moses,
How long will these people treat me with contempt? 
Will they never believe me,
even after all the miraculous signs I have done among them?

My God is my rock, in whom I find protection.
He is my shield, the power that saves me,
and my place of safety. He is my refuge, my savior,
the one who saves me from violence.

I called on the Lord, who is worthy of praise,
and he saved me from my enemies.
