In the Garden

Then the Lord God formed the man from the dust
of the earth and blew the breath of life into his nostrils.
The man became a living being.

The Lord God planted a garden in Eden, in the east.
That’s where he put the man whom he had formed.

The Lord God made all the trees grow out of the ground.
These trees were nice to look at, and their fruit was good to eat.

The tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of
good and evil grew in the middle of the garden.

Why would you think I do not wish to talk with you?
I have many things yet to tell you. I wish to share
my heart with you. Draw near and do not be afraid.

Awaken at night and write dreams I will share with you.
Allow me to speak to you through them.

Rest in me and do not allow discouragement to affect you. My love for you is ever-growing. It reveals itself as you allow me to work. Replace what you don’t see with my assurance. My words will come to pass. They never fail. There is nothing I have shown you that I will not perform. Let the water of my living word refresh you.

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:10 (NIV) Listen for me and my voice of direction. I will give you the instructions you need. Allow my peace to come upon you. Allow my healing to touch you in those tender spots, so you may share me with others. Reach out to them as you might reach out to me. You are my conduit. I will flow through you. Fear not for you are my agent of love. Reflect me to the world. Let your life speak my peace.
