Within Your Heart

The power of the Lord came over me. He said,
“Get up, and go to the plain. I will speak to you there.”
I got up and went to the plain.
The Lord’s glory was standing there like the glory
I saw by the Chebar River, and I immediately bowed down.
Then the Spirit entered me and stood me on my feet.
He talked to me. He said, “Go into your home, and
shut yourself inside. People will tie you up with ropes,
son of man, so that you can’t go outside.
I will make your tongue stick to the roof of your mouth
so that you can’t talk or criticize them,
even though they are rebellious people.
But when I speak to you, I will open your mouth.
You will tell them, ‘This is what the Almighty Lord says.’
Some will listen, and some will refuse to listen.
They are rebellious people.”

Put aside the noise which distracts you.
Listen for me and I will speak to you.
I will place my words within your heart.

Sit with me and take in my written word.
Draw upon the healing truth it contains.

Practice those precepts. They will guide
you in the way of life. They will show you
the way you should be going.

considering the light

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.  The earth was formless and empty, and darkness covered the deep waters.  And the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters. Then God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.  And God saw that the light was good. Then he separated the light from the darkness.  God called the light “day” and the darkness “night.” And evening passed and morning came, marking the first day. ‭‭Genesis‬ ‭1:1-5‬ ‭(NLT‬‬) This is the message we heard from Jesus and now declare to you: God is light, and there is no darkness in him at all. So we are lying if we say we have fellowship with God but go on living in spiritual darkness; we are not practicing the truth. ‭‭1 John‬ ‭1:5-6‬ ‭(NLT‬‬)

Walk With Me

Now as Jesus was passing by, he saw a man who had been blind from birth. His disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who committed the sin that caused him to be born blind, this man or his parents?” Jesus answered, “Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but he was born blind so that the acts of God may be revealed through what happens to him. We must perform the deeds of the one who sent me as long as it is daytime. Night is coming when no one can work. As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.” Having said this, he spat on the ground and made some mud with the saliva. He smeared the mud on the blind man’s eyes and said to him, “Go wash in the pool of Siloam” (which is translated “sent”). So the blind man went away and washed, and came back seeing.” ‭‭John‬ ‭9‬:‭1‬-‭7‬ ‭(NET‬‬) I am your strength. I am your shelter. Yes, I am all which you need. Allow me to guide you in the journey.
