His Calling

-

Be serious! Be alert! Your adversary the Devil
Is prowling around like a roaring lion,
looking for anyone he can devour.
Resist him and be firm in the faith,
knowing that the same sufferings
are being experienced by your fellow believers
throughout the world.
Now the God of all grace,
who called you to His eternal glory in Christ Jesus,
will personally restore, establish, strengthen,
and support you after you have suffered a little.
The dominion belongs to Him forever. Amen.

Do not fear the darkness of the enemy.
Speak life and walk securely in my way.
I am there with you. I am the light.

Get to know me and spend time with
me. I will fill you with what you need.
Ask, and I will continue to show you
the way you should be going.

My Reflection

Then Simon Peter came along behind him and went straight into the tomb. He saw the strips of linen lying there, as well as the cloth that had been wrapped around Jesus’ head. The cloth was still lying in its place, separate from the linen. Finally the other disciple, who had reached the tomb  first, also went inside. He saw and believed. (They still did not understand from Scripture that Jesus had to rise from the dead.) Then  the disciples went back to where they were staying. ‭‭John‬ ‭20‬:‭6‬-‭10‬ ‭(NIV‬‬) I am alive and remain unchanged. Come sit with me. Allow my healing to flow over and through you. Allow my wisdom to guide and direct you in the way you should walk. I am your example. Grow, share and reflect me to others.

Your Covering

There were people from all over Judea and from Jerusalem and from as far north as the seacoasts of Tyre and Sidon. They had come to hear him and to be healed of their diseases; and those troubled by evil spirits were healed. Everyone tried to touch him, because healing power went out from him, and he healed everyone. ‭‭Luke‬ ‭6‬:‭17b‬-‭19‬ ‭(NLT‬‬) Sit quiet. Listen to the sounds all about you. They are all a part of my creation. You were created in my image. I am from before what you know as "the beginning". Recognize me. Learn to know my names. In them you will find the fullness of me. I will direct you in the way which you need to go. I will be your covering.
