Ask and see

Then the Lord said, "Listen to what the unjust judge says. Will not God grant justice to His elect who cry out to Him day and night? Will He delay [to help] them?   I tell you that He will swiftly grant them justice. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He find that faith on earth?" Luke 18:6-8 (HCSB)   Ask and see if I will not keep my word. It is time for my children to become the sons of God, maturing into my plan. I've given you dreams and visions. It's time to start moving towards what you were shown, so I can grant you more. Yes, ask of me for more, if you're willing to step out when I prompt you. Stop worrying if you can accomplish what I will show to you. If you can then it's your own perception and I'm not needed. My word never changes. It remains truth.  Ask me what needs done and I will show you. I will show you how to accomplish my kingdom ways. Keep asking. Ask me and see that I will keep my word.

compassion

So as He stepped ashore, He saw a huge crowd and had compassion on them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd. Then He began to teach them many things. Mark 6:34 (HCSB)

the mysterious ways

So Daniel praised the God of heaven, saying, “Let the name of God be praised forever and ever, for wisdom and power belong to him. He changes times and seasons, deposing some kings and establishing others. He gives wisdom to the wise; he imparts knowledge to those with understanding; he reveals deep and hidden things. He knows what is in the darkness, and light resides with him. O God of my fathers, I acknowledge and glorify you, for you have bestowed wisdom and power on me. Now you have enabled me to understand what I requested from you. For you have enabled me to understand the king’s dilemma.” Daniel 2:19b-23 (NET)

what are you eating?

Jesus said to them, My food (nourishment) is to do the will (pleasure) of Him Who sent Me and to accomplish and completely finish His work. John 4:34 (AMP)

at a great price

"Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant searching for fine pearls. When he found a pearl of great value, he went out and sold everything he had and bought it.                             Matthew 13:45-46 (NET)   Yes, you have been hidden away. Far away from the voices which would speak poison and blind your eyes to my kingdom way. Fear not for I AM is yet with you. I have never left you alone. You have been purchased at a great price, yet there is a great rejoicing. I have spoken my words into your heart and you wonder "when". When will this be accomplished you ask and cry to me.  Stand firm in me. Yes, you are a pearl of great value. You are my pearl. I am teaching you to be hidden away in me. It is only there you will find satisfaction and the safety the sons of God will depend upon. Be ever-dependant up...

Nigeria: Stand Proud

Nigeria, you are mine. I have called you and will lift you up, and out of the mire. Stand proud in me.  Stand tall Nigeria.  I have called you to produce world leaders, to bring nations to my throne. Your children will grow and mature, no longer caught in the grasp of fear. I am feeding them with a food which will create a new spiritual hunger. I breathe my breath upon you Nigeria. I am speaking life that you would reach others who now surround you and abuse you.

a thought kernel

I tell you the solemn truth, unless a kernel of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains by itself alone. But if it dies, it produces much grain. The one who loves his life destroys it, and the one who hates his life in this world guards it for eternal life. John 12:24-25 (NET)

promise

You who love the Lord, hate evil! He protects the lives of his faithful followers; he delivers them from the power of the wicked. Psalms 97:10 (NET)

light and salvation…

And the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of cloud to lead them along the way, and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, that they might travel by day and by night. The pillar of cloud by day and the pillar of fire by night did not depart from before the people. Exodus 13:21-22 (ESV)

Get your feet wet

It is time for you to begin walking upon the water. Step out and move forward where I will direct you. Set your eyes upon me and not on what you think you can not accomplish. You were created unique. Allow me to lead you into the places no one else can go. I have placed within you gifts, move forward that my glory may show forth. Don't worry about spoiling your shoes. Step forward and get your feet wet. I will wash over you, so you may bring life and refreshing for those in need. I will give you words to speak; Words which will penetrate into a dying heart, releasing new life.  What I have spoken will come to pass.   He took the cloak that had fallen off Elijah, hit the water with it, and said, "Where is the Lord, the God of Elijah?" When he hit the water, it divided and Elisha crossed over. 2 Kings 2:14 (NET)

What about you?

There is still time to get into the boat or wherever Jesus maybe be traveling. Don’t hesitate or feel ridiculous, because following Him will never be as what “they” say or think. As he got into the boat, his disciples followed him. And a great storm developed on the sea so that the waves began to swamp the boat. But he was asleep. So they came and woke him up saying, “Lord, save us! We are about to die!” But he said to them, “Why are you cowardly, you people of little faith?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and it was dead calm. And the men were amazed and said, “What sort of person is this? Even the winds and the sea obey him!” Matthew 8:23-27 (NET) Yes, following Jesus will cause instances of panic  and wonderment as you learn to place not only trust in him, but your “whole” self in his direction. It is when we come to those spots of being overwhelmed, we learn another aspect of whom he is. Even the winds and the sea obey him, now wh...

the double blessing of Pharaoh

Then Joseph brought in his father Jacob and presented him before Pharaoh. Jacob blessed Pharaoh. Pharaoh said to Jacob, “How long have you lived?” Jacob said to Pharaoh, “All the years of my travels are 130. All the years of my life have been few and painful; the years of my travels are not as long as those of my ancestors.” Then Jacob blessed Pharaoh and went out from his presence. Genesis 47:7-10 (NET)

who you are in me

Long before this time Abraham had dug many wells, but after he died, the Philistines filled them with dirt. So Isaac dug those wells again and gave them the same names his father had given them.  Isaac's servants dug a well in the valley, from which a spring of water flowed. But the herdsmen of Gerar argued with them and said, "This water is ours." Genesis 26:18-20a (NCV) I am the God of your fathers. Look into your past. There you will find a portion of who you are in me.  Go back to the place I shall show you.  Push through, clear away the rubble. Remove the debris from the family well.  Uncap it and allow my water flow through.  My living water will come forth for you to drink and to share. I have waters of living water for those willing to come and drink.

and truth

"God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth." John 4:24 (NASB)

the revelation

When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, "Who do people say the Son of Man is?" They replied, "Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets." "But what about you?" he asked. "Who do you say I am?" Simon Peter answered, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God." Jesus replied, "Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by man, but by my Father in heaven. Matthew 16:13-17 (NIV)

called away

Sometimes we are called for a time of separation. It gives us space to experience God in a fresh way, away from the direct influences of those who know us too well and may have an unknown influence upon our activities and responses. So Abram went up from Egypt, he and his wife and all that he had, and Lot with him, into the Negeb. Genesis 13:1 (ESV) In being where God would lead us we are more vulnerable to Him. In the desert region we can come to a dependence and hopefully a healthy relationship with the provider.

a new way of looking…

If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. Colossians 3:1-2 (ESV)

I will supply

The priest replied to David, "I don't have any ordinary bread at my disposal. Only holy bread is available, and then only if your soldiers have abstained from sexual relations with women." David said to the priest, "Certainly women have been kept away from us, just as on previous occasions when I have set out. The soldiers' equipment is holy, even on an ordinary journey. How much more so will they be holy today, along with their equipment!" So the priest gave him holy bread, for there was no bread there other than the bread of the Presence. It had been removed from before the Lord in order to replace it with hot bread on the day it had been taken away. 1 Samuel 21:4-6 (NET) You are my holy priests. I have called you and set you before me to minister. I will supply what you need. Come to me in your hunger. Tell me of your point of need and see what will happen. All that I have is available to you. You are in training to access more. Less...

pulling up tent posts

Are you in the right geographic locale? It matters to God where you live, if you are wishing to reach the destiny He has for you. It could be you need to move? Are you listening to God in this aspect of your life? It is important for yourself and others He’d have you influence. Then God said to Jacob, “Go up at once to Bethel and live there. Make an altar there to God, who appeared to you when you fled from your brother Esau.” So Jacob told his household and all who were with him, “Get rid of the foreign gods you have among you. Purify yourselves and change your clothes. Let us go up at once to Bethel. Then I will make an altar there to God, who responded to me in my time of distress and has been with me wherever I went.” So they gave Jacob all the foreign gods that were in their possession and the rings that were in their ears. Jacob buried them under the oak near Shechem and they started on their journey. The surrounding cities were afraid of God, and they di...
