Getting close

Getting close to me requires much;
You must learn to release yourself.
You must allow me to show you love.
It is unconditional.

Like an earthly parent, I am proud of you.
I see what you are becoming.
Though you fall, there is no weakness.

Relax and allow me to enjoy showing you my ways.
Stop the self-expectation. I have much-more for you.
Sit with me, closing your eyes, imagining what I see.

My strength abides when you are weak.
My ways of breaking are tender for my children.
Allow me into your every thought.

My words bring encouragement. Let them soak into your life. My ways bring wholeness, for now and in the time yet to be revealed. I am active within your life. Rest in me and do not allow discouragement to affect you. My love for you is ever-growing. It reveals itself as you allow me to work. Replace what you don’t see with my assurance. My words will come to pass. They never fail. There is nothing I have shown you that I will not perform. Let the water of my living word refresh you.
