the young lions

I heard our Father speak to me the words, “the young lions”. I asked for revelation as to what He meant. I was walking along a small river and saw a shiny silver-coloured shell. He reminded me that the shell once had life, but was now dead. I understood him to mean we are to seek life within the water. We are not to become enamored with the past or the way previous moves have shown themselves.

I was next shown the scene of a moving army across a plains area. It was moving eastward (left to right) in front of me. From high above I could see it was a disciplined group by the formations they kept. Upon closer look I saw these were prides of moving lions. In the air above and far affront of them were groups of eagles. They were giving direction to the army on the ground. It was a joining of lions and eagles.

Judah is a young lion— my son, you return from the kill— he crouches; he lies down like a lion and like a lioness—who wants to rouse him? Genesis 49:9 (HCSB)

We are to send forth praise. There was no disunity in these prides of lions. The young lion learns discipline and tactic from observing others. As they grow larger they too participate. Working together we move towards the new temple which Ezekiel saw.

The young lions are on the move. They are coming. It is the joining of the apostolic (lions) and the prophetic (eagles).

On every wall all around, on the inside and outside, was a pattern carved with cherubim and palm trees. There was a palm tree between each pair of cherubim. Each cherub had two faces: a human face turned toward the palm tree on one side, and a lion’s face turned toward it on the other. They were carved throughout the temple on all sides. Cherubim and palm trees were carved from the ground to the top of the entrance and on the wall of the great hall.
Ezekiel 41:17-20 (HCSB).
