The Way

Moses placed the staffs in the Lord’s presence
in the Tabernacle of the Covenant.
When he went into the Tabernacle of the Covenant the next day,
he found that Aaron’s staff, representing the tribe of Levi,
had sprouted, budded, blossomed, and produced ripe almonds!
Numbers 17:7-8 (NLT)


Fear not, but follow my ways. Go forward into the pathway
I will show you. Do not hesitate in sharing my heart.
My power and authority will go before you.

Speak my truth in love. Bring healing and freedom
to those I bring to you in this journey. Proclaim
my peace into the lives of the lost and dying. Show them
that I am yet the way.

My words bring encouragement. Let them soak into your life. My ways bring wholeness, for now and in the time yet to be revealed. I am active within your life. Rest in me and do not allow discouragement to affect you. My love for you is ever-growing. It reveals itself as you allow me to work. Replace what you don’t see with my assurance. My words will come to pass. They never fail. There is nothing I have shown you that I will not perform. Let the water of my living word refresh you.

Out of the Water

Later, when the boy was older, his mother brought him back to Pharaoh’s daughter, who adopted him as her own son. I have drawn you up, out of the waters and into my presence. Walk with me. Lean into me so I can steady your way. I have places yet for you to be going; lives yet for you to reach.
