Into Practice

By this time it was about noon, and darkness fell
across the whole land until three o’clock.
The light from the sun was gone. And suddenly,
the curtain in the sanctuary of the Temple was
torn down the middle.

Then Jesus shouted,
Father, I entrust my spirit into your hands!
And with those words he breathed his last.

This day and others were made and fulfilled for you.
Learn to walk in their safety and love. I’ve shown you
the way. Now be a practitioner of what you’ve received.

Reach out to others, those far and near. Allow them to
know of my love for them. Don’t fear. They are waiting
to know more of me.
