Follow My Ways

That same day two of Jesus’ followers were
walking to the village of Emmaus, seven miles
from Jerusalem. As they walked along they
were talking about everything that had happened.

As they talked and discussed these things,
Jesus himself suddenly came and began walking
with them. But God kept them from recognizing him.
‭‭Luke‬ ‭24‬:‭13‬-‭16‬ ‭(NLT‬‬)



Do not be discouraged. Put your trust in me
and do not allow what you see become your
guide. You should follow my ways or things
will become a distraction.

He guides me in the right paths, as he has promised. Even if I go through the deepest darkness, I will not be afraid, Lord, for you are with me. Your shepherd's rod and staff protect me. ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭23‬:‭1‬-‭4‬ ‭(GNT)‬‬ You are to walk to the bridge of decision. It is up to you if you decide to cross over or not. The other side has its new challenges, from me to help in your development and those from the enemy. Continue your walk in me. I will place you where you should grow in me. Recognize me. Learn to know when I am leading you.

This is a day for remembering, for looking back on your past. Those dates and anniversaries which enriched your life. Those times I reached in and brought safety. Thinking back and reaching forward.. Plans completing and those beginning to open. My hand has been upon you and those events. Now look ahead. Find the signs and clues I’ve planted for you. You are to walk boldly and secure with me.
