What are you thinking?

Have you ever been asked, “What are you thinking?” If not, consider it now. What are you found thinking about? Where lays you thoughts, dreams and ambitions? Because where they are you will walk. Are you thinking of God and his ways, or are you stuck in the dwelling of what you see as circumstances? We learn to understand only that which we can experience.

Have your eyes opened. Ask to have new vision. It is scriptural to ask to see. We are told we don’t have things because we do not ask for them. Jesus reminds us to keep on asking (Matthew 7:7, 11). Our eyes can be opened. We can view into the spiritual atmosphere. In 2 Kings 6:17 Elisha prayed for his servants eyes to see what he had already seen. Instantly Gehazi could see the horses and chariots of fire.
If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. Colossians 3:1-2 (NKJV).
Are we taking the advice that was given to the apostle John? He wrote in down that we might know. “…take my advice and buy gold from me refined by fire so you can become rich! Buy from me white clothing so you can be clothed and your shameful nakedness will not be exposed, and buy eye salve to put on your eyes so you can see!” Revelation 3:18 (NET).

Have you considered the “what” we should see? We should consider the word which says God will give us understanding in everything (2 Timothy 2:7). The book John wrote was to be as a revelation of Jesus. We are to experience him more fully. John wrote of the seven Spirits who are before Jesus throne. He told us that Jesus would come with clouds and all would see him. Have you considered the possibility that the clouds and lights from James 1:17 are but another form of supernatural beings we yet know nothing of? There is much to think of and consider.
From scripture we read that many spiritual creatures have wings. Isaiah 6:2 describes the seraphim as having six wings. We can read in Malachi 4:2 that the Sun of righteousness has healings in his wings (this is not referring to Jesus, as he is the Son). The cherubim have their wings open above the mercy seat (Exodus 25:18). The four creatures that were revealed to Ezekiel (1:5-13) and to John (Revelation 4:6) each had four wings.

There is even the possibility that God himself may have wings. Read what the psalmist wrote, “He shall cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler” Psalms 91:4 (NKJV). Jeremiah writes, “Behold, He shall come up and fly like the eagle, And spread His wings over Bozrah; The heart of the mighty men of Edom in that day shall be Like the heart of a woman in birth pangs” (Jeremiah 49:22, NKJV). From what we read here, I have to at least consider the possibility the God has wings.
If God our creator has wings, might we also have wings? Does not scripture say we are created in his image and likeness (Genesis 1:26)? I know many of you right now are asking yourself, “What is he thinking?” I am striving to seek for the things about. My mind is focusing above what is known and searching for the ways and experiences of God, my Father.
