pause for thought

Jesus answered, "You have been chosen to know the secrets about the kingdom of heaven, but others cannot know these secrets. Those who have understanding will be given more, and they will have all they need. But those who do not have understanding, even what they have will be taken away from them.                      Matthew 13:11-12 (NCV)

During the night I awoke hearing a heavy rain falling, but upon getting up I see the yards and streets were dry.  Later I heard a rumble of thunder. I heard the Lord say, "The sound of rolling thunder may not always be what you think it is.

Rest in me and do not allow discouragement to affect you. My love for you is ever-growing. It reveals itself as you allow me to work. Replace what you don’t see with my assurance. My words will come to pass. They never fail. There is nothing I have shown you that I will not perform. Let the water of my living word refresh you.

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:10 (NIV) Listen for me and my voice of direction. I will give you the instructions you need. Allow my peace to come upon you. Allow my healing to touch you in those tender spots, so you may share me with others. Reach out to them as you might reach out to me. You are my conduit. I will flow through you. Fear not for you are my agent of love. Reflect me to the world. Let your life speak my peace.
