Let it rain...
This is the account of the creation of the heavens and the earth.
When the Lord God made the earth and the heavens,
neither wild plants nor grains were growing on the earth.
For the Lord God had not yet sent rain to water the earth,
and there were no people to cultivate the soil.
Instead, springs came up from the ground and watered all the land.
Genesis 2:4-6 (NLT)
When Noah was 600 years old,
on the seventeenth day of the second month,
all the underground waters erupted from the earth,
and the rain fell in mighty torrents from the sky.
The rain continued to fall for forty days and forty nights.
That very day Noah had gone into the boat with his wife
and his sons—Shem, Ham, and Japheth—and their wives.
