Come With Me

He said to them,
“Come with me privately to an isolated place
and rest a while” (for many were coming and going,
and there was no time to eat).

So they went away by themselves in a boat
to some remote place.”

Listen for my voice and I will direct you
in the way you should go. Don’t allow
impatience to misguide you, but trust in me.

Recognize my calling to you and respond.
Allow me to interrupt your routine and
receive the reward of peace.

Listen for me and you will find me.
Become willing to go where I am sending you.
Fear not, for that is the way the enemy would
drive you but walk in my peace.

Rest in me and do not allow discouragement to affect you. My love for you is ever-growing. It reveals itself as you allow me to work. Replace what you don’t see with my assurance. My words will come to pass. They never fail. There is nothing I have shown you that I will not perform. Let the water of my living word refresh you.
