the Calling

A little farther up the shore he saw two other brothers,
James and John, sitting in a boat with their father, Zebedee,
repairing their nets.

And he called them to come, too.
They immediately followed him,
leaving the boat and their father behind.

My peace is yet available. Allow it to overflow and
enrich your life. Don’t react to others in anger or
in fear, but call out to me. Allow me to cover you
with my wings. I am ever-here with you.

Rest in me and do not allow discouragement to affect you. My love for you is ever-growing. It reveals itself as you allow me to work. Replace what you don’t see with my assurance. My words will come to pass. They never fail. There is nothing I have shown you that I will not perform. Let the water of my living word refresh you.
