Storms

Jesus’ disciples went with him as he left in a boat.
Suddenly, a severe storm came across the sea.
The waves were covering the boat.
Yet, Jesus was sleeping.
So they woke him up, saying, “Lord! Save us!
We’re going to die!” Jesus said to them,
“Why do you cowards have so little faith?”
Then he got up, gave an order to the wind
and the sea, and the sea became very calm.
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭8‬:‭23‬-‭26‬ ‭GW‬‬



Don't allow the storms to guide you.
Release your anxiety and sit quietly
with me. Trust me. I am there.

Some storms are to help you grow.
That angers our enemy. Walk with
me in the way I have for you.

Then Simon Peter came along behind him and went straight into the tomb. He saw the strips of linen lying there, as well as the cloth that had been wrapped around Jesus’ head. The cloth was still lying in its place, separate from the linen. Finally the other disciple, who had reached the tomb  first, also went inside. He saw and believed. Allow my correction to keep you on the right pathway. I will show you things you've not yet seen. My love will overflow you. Fill yourself with my written word. Don't rush through it. Allow it's stories and truth to show my way.

Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. ‭‭Galatians‬ ‭5‬:‭24‬-‭25‬ ‭NIV Don't be rushed ahead or be delayed by what you see. Listen for me. I will direct you. I will show you when it is time to move forward. I am what you need. I am the way to life. Put your trust in me.
