Believing

But Jesus shouted out, “The one who believes in me does not believe in me,
but in the one who sent me, and the one who sees me sees the one who sent me.

I have come as a light into the world, so that everyone who believes in me
should not remain in darkness. If anyone hears my words and does not obey them,
I do not judge him. For I have not come to judge the world, but to save the world.

The one who rejects me and does not accept my words has a judge;
the word I have spoken will judge him at the last day.
For I have not spoken from my own authority, but the Father himself
who sent me has commanded me what I should say and what I should speak.

Do not be shy, but speak my word in all you do.
Bring life and light to those you come across.

Do not be discouraged. I am with you. Yes, I am working within you, despite what you don’t see or sense. I am with you. Drink-in the water I offer. Apply the balm of my peace to your restlessness. My words bring encouragement. Let them soak into your life. My ways bring wholeness, for now and in the time yet to be revealed. I am active within your life. Rest in me and do not allow discouragement to affect you. My love for you is ever-growing. It reveals itself as you allow me to work. Replace what you don’t see with my assurance. My words will come to pass. They never fail. There is nothing I have shown you that I will not perform. Let the water of my living word refresh you.
