morning prayer

Father, guard my heart. Let it not become guided by my emotions.
Enliven me to your Spirit and the guiding way of you.

Send healing, that I may follow after your secrets; to become aware of the
trail you leave for me to find. I acknowledge my need of you.



From his abundance we have all received one gracious blessing after another.
For the law was given through Moses, but God’s unfailing love and faithfulness
came through Jesus Christ. No one has ever seen God. But the unique One,
who is himself God, is near to the Father’s heart. He has revealed God to us.

Rest in me and do not allow discouragement to affect you. My love for you is ever-growing. It reveals itself as you allow me to work. Replace what you don’t see with my assurance. My words will come to pass. They never fail. There is nothing I have shown you that I will not perform. Let the water of my living word refresh you.
