learning my ways

What is it you are seeking from me that you don’t already have?
Spend time with me. Listen to my words. Feed upon my written
Word and partake of it. You satisfaction will become real.


For in a visitation of the night you inspected my heart and
refined my soul in fire until nothing vile was found in me.
I’ve wanted my words and my ways to always agree.
Following your word has kept me from wrong.
Your ways have molded my footsteps,
keeping me from going down the forbidden paths of the destroyer.

You will answer me, God; I know you always will,
like you always do as you listen with love to my every prayer.

Do not be discouraged. I am with you. Yes, I am working within you, despite what you don’t see or sense. I am with you. Drink-in the water I offer. Apply the balm of my peace to your restlessness. My words bring encouragement. Let them soak into your life. My ways bring wholeness, for now and in the time yet to be revealed. I am active within your life. Rest in me and do not allow discouragement to affect you. My love for you is ever-growing. It reveals itself as you allow me to work. Replace what you don’t see with my assurance. My words will come to pass. They never fail. There is nothing I have shown you that I will not perform. Let the water of my living word refresh you.
