Timothy, my son, here are my instructions for you,
based on the prophetic words spoken about you earlier.

May they help you fight well in the Lord’s battles.
Cling to your faith in Christ, and
keep your conscience clear.

For some people have deliberately violated
their consciences; as a result,
their faith has been shipwrecked.

Rest in me and do not allow discouragement to affect you. My love for you is ever-growing. It reveals itself as you allow me to work. Replace what you don’t see with my assurance. My words will come to pass. They never fail. There is nothing I have shown you that I will not perform. Let the water of my living word refresh you.

Out of the Water

I have drawn you up, out of the waters and into my presence. Walk with me. Lean into me so I can steady your way. I have places yet for you to be going; lives yet for you to reach.
