Expecting

The eyes are like a lamp for the body.
If your eyes are sound, your whole body will be full of light;
but if your eyes are no good, your body will be in darkness.
So if the light in you is darkness, how terribly dark it will be!

Listen for me each morning. Establish yourself in me.
My hand of healing will be upon you. My guidance will
show the pathway I have created for you.

Do not be distracted by the noise of the enemy,
but be wrapped in my peace. Exercise my righteousness.
Strengthen yourself in me so you can recognize the pieces
I will bring to you this day.

Ask, expecting me to answer.

Rest in me and do not allow discouragement to affect you. My love for you is ever-growing. It reveals itself as you allow me to work. Replace what you don’t see with my assurance. My words will come to pass. They never fail. There is nothing I have shown you that I will not perform. Let the water of my living word refresh you.
