By day the Lord went ahead of them
in a column of smoke to lead them on their way.
By night he went ahead of them in a column of fire
to give them light so that they could travel by day
or by night.

The column of smoke was always in front of the people
during the day. The column of fire was always there at night.

When you look in front of yourself
what do you see? Is it failures or
self-expectations? Look again. Readjust.
It is me. I am there to led you.

My light will show you the way to be going.
I am dispelling the lies of darkness.

Rest in me and do not allow discouragement to affect you. My love for you is ever-growing. It reveals itself as you allow me to work. Replace what you don’t see with my assurance. My words will come to pass. They never fail. There is nothing I have shown you that I will not perform. Let the water of my living word refresh you.

Out of the Water
