Be Mine

A little farther up the shore he saw two other brothers,
James and John, sitting in a boat with their father, Zebedee,
repairing their nets. And he called them to come, too.

They immediately followed him, leaving the boat and their father behind.

Sit with me. Cast aside your frustration and learn my ways.
See who you are in me. I am Creator-God who speaks life.

You are my representative to the world. Find your way
within my covering. Wherever you are walking, you are
to speak life. Cast aside fear. You are mine.

Walk with me. Allow me to show you new things. Learn
the purity of my truth. Within it is healing and life.

Rest in me and do not allow discouragement to affect you. My love for you is ever-growing. It reveals itself as you allow me to work. Replace what you don’t see with my assurance. My words will come to pass. They never fail. There is nothing I have shown you that I will not perform. Let the water of my living word refresh you.
