Come Expectantly

Therefore if you have been raised with Christ
[to a new life, sharing in His resurrection from the dead],
keep seeking the things that are above,
where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.

Experience me. Learn to expect me to come
and fill you. Ask me into your everyday life
and see if I will not show myself. Look about and
see my handiwork.

Inhale the breath of my Sprit. He will take you
into places where you can grow. He will cleanse you
from the grime of this world.

Come expectantly and receive what I have for you.

Rest in me and do not allow discouragement to affect you. My love for you is ever-growing. It reveals itself as you allow me to work. Replace what you don’t see with my assurance. My words will come to pass. They never fail. There is nothing I have shown you that I will not perform. Let the water of my living word refresh you.
