All Which You Need

-

You are saying about this city,
‘By the sword, famine and plague it will be given
into the hands of the king of Babylon’;
but this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says:
I will surely gather them from all the lands
where I banish them in my furious anger and
great wrath; I will bring them back to this place
and let them live in safety. They will be my people,
and I will be their God. I will give them singleness
of heart and action, so that they will always
fear me and that all will then go well for them
and for their children after them.
I will make an everlasting covenant with them:
I will never stop doing good to them, and
I will inspire them to fear me,
so that they will never turn away from me.
I will rejoice in doing them good and
will assuredly plant them in this land with
all my heart and soul.

Walk with me. Remember me this day.
Listen for my leading you where you
should go. Leave behind your anger and
anxiety. They will blind you in knowing
my heart.

Offer yourself to me. I am all which you need.

considering the light

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.  The earth was formless and empty, and darkness covered the deep waters.  And the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters. Then he separated the light from the darkness.  God called the light “day” and the darkness “night.” And evening passed and morning came, marking the first day. ‭‭Genesis‬ ‭1:1-5‬ ‭(NLT‬‬) This is the message we heard from Jesus and now declare to you: God is light, and there is no darkness in him at all. So we are lying if we say we have fellowship with God but go on living in spiritual darkness; we are not practicing the truth. ‭‭1 John‬ ‭1:5-6‬ ‭(NLT‬‬)

Now as Jesus was passing by, he saw a man who had been blind from birth. His disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who committed the sin that caused him to be born blind, this man or his parents?” Jesus answered, “Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but he was born blind so that the acts of God may be revealed through what happens to him. We must perform the deeds of the one who sent me as long as it is daytime. Night is coming when no one can work. As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.” Having said this, he spat on the ground and made some mud with the saliva. He smeared the mud on the blind man’s eyes and said to him, “Go wash in the pool of Siloam” (which is translated “sent”).
