Upon My Word

-

For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid,
but gives us power, love and self-discipline.
So do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord
or of me his prisoner. Rather, join with me in suffering
for the gospel, by the power of God. He has saved us
and called us to a holy life—not because of anything
we have done but because of his own purpose and grace.
This grace was given us in Christ Jesus
before the beginning of time,
‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭1‬:‭7‬-‭9‬ ‭(NIV‬‬)



Allow my spirit to guide you in truth. Do not
be influenced by what you may see, as the
enemy would paint its' deceptive picture.
It is a lie. Only in me is there life. Only in
me is there life.

Do not allow fear to guide you. That is not
from me. Speak truth and life. Walk in the
power I have given you. Feed yourself
upon my word.

considering the light

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.  The earth was formless and empty, and darkness covered the deep waters.  And the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters. Then God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.  And God saw that the light was good. Then he separated the light from the darkness.  God called the light “day” and the darkness “night.” And evening passed and morning came, marking the first day. ‭‭Genesis‬ ‭1:1-5‬ ‭(NLT‬‬) This is the message we heard from Jesus and now declare to you: God is light, and there is no darkness in him at all. So we are lying if we say we have fellowship with God but go on living in spiritual darkness; we are not practicing the truth. ‭‭1 John‬ ‭1:5-6‬ ‭(NLT‬‬)

Walk With Me

Now as Jesus was passing by, he saw a man who had been blind from birth. His disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who committed the sin that caused him to be born blind, this man or his parents?” Jesus answered, “Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but he was born blind so that the acts of God may be revealed through what happens to him. We must perform the deeds of the one who sent me as long as it is daytime. Night is coming when no one can work. As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.” Having said this, he spat on the ground and made some mud with the saliva. He smeared the mud on the blind man’s eyes and said to him, “Go wash in the pool of Siloam” (which is translated “sent”). So the blind man went away and washed, and came back seeing.” ‭‭John‬ ‭9‬:‭1‬-‭7‬ ‭(NET‬‬) I am your strength. I am your shelter. Yes, I am all which you need. Allow me to guide you in the journey.
