Listen For Me

-

The people of Israel fought the Babylonians.
Now their houses are filled with the bodies
of their own people I killed in my anger and
my fury. I will hide my face from this city
because of its wickedness.
“But I will heal this city and restore it to health.
I will heal its people,
and I will give them peace and security.
I will restore Judah and Israel and rebuild them
as they were before. I will cleanse them from all
the sins that they have committed against me.
I will forgive them for all the sins that they have
committed against me and for rebelling against me.
Then Jerusalem will be my source of joy, praise,
and honor. All the nations on earth will hear about
all the blessings that I will give to Jerusalem.
They will be afraid and tremble because of all
the prosperity that I will provide for it.”

Place yourself with me. Allow my ways to
shine from you as you go about your daily
routine. Do not become complacent. Know
the price which was paid for you.

I am speaking to you as you read this.
Listen for me. Walk in my strength.

considering the light

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.  The earth was formless and empty, and darkness covered the deep waters.  And the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters. Then God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.  And God saw that the light was good. Then he separated the light from the darkness.  God called the light “day” and the darkness “night.” And evening passed and morning came, marking the first day. ‭‭Genesis‬ ‭1:1-5‬ ‭(NLT‬‬) This is the message we heard from Jesus and now declare to you: God is light, and there is no darkness in him at all. So we are lying if we say we have fellowship with God but go on living in spiritual darkness; we are not practicing the truth. ‭‭1 John‬ ‭1:5-6‬ ‭(NLT‬‬)

Walk With Me

Now as Jesus was passing by, he saw a man who had been blind from birth. His disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who committed the sin that caused him to be born blind, this man or his parents?” Jesus answered, “Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but he was born blind so that the acts of God may be revealed through what happens to him. We must perform the deeds of the one who sent me as long as it is daytime. Night is coming when no one can work. As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.” Having said this, he spat on the ground and made some mud with the saliva. He smeared the mud on the blind man’s eyes and said to him, “Go wash in the pool of Siloam” (which is translated “sent”). So the blind man went away and washed, and came back seeing.” ‭‭John‬ ‭9‬:‭1‬-‭7‬ ‭(NET‬‬) I am your strength. I am your shelter. Yes, I am all which you need. Allow me to guide you in the journey.
