the time of crossing

Elisha then picked up Elijah’s cloak that had fallen from him

and went back and stood on the bank of the Jordan.

He took the cloak that had fallen from Elijah and struck the water with it.

“Where now is the Lord, the God of Elijah?” he asked.

When he struck the water, it divided to the right and to the left, and he crossed over.”

Be patient, yet steadfast in what you have been called.

There is a time of promotion into a greater calling,

Let there be no self-deceit or anger found within you,

but the cloak of love covering about you.

You will recognize the time of crossing over for what you are to be doing.

Be ready. Be selfless.
