What are you doing here?

-

Don’t give-in to discouragement. Don’t allow it to have
a foothold in your life. Sit here and talk with me.
Allow my spirit to cover you in what is needed. Speak
my names aloud so you may hear me clearly.
I will supply what is needed. My healing will come
upon you.

Do not give in. I have more for you to discover in me.
I have more for you to be doing.




“Go out and stand before me on top of the mountain,”
the Lord said to him. Then the Lord passed by and
sent a furious wind that split the hills and shattered the rocks
—but the Lord was not in the wind.

The wind stopped blowing, and then there was an earthquake
—but the Lord was not in the earthquake. After the earthquake
there was a fire—but the Lord was not in the fire.

And after the fire there was the soft whisper of a voice.
When Elijah heard it, he covered his face with his cloak
and went out and stood at the entrance of the cave.

A voice said to him, “Elijah, what are you doing here?””

Do not be discouraged. I am with you. Yes, I am working within you, despite what you don’t see or sense. I am with you. Drink-in the water I offer. Apply the balm of my peace to your restlessness. My words bring encouragement. Let them soak into your life. My ways bring wholeness, for now and in the time yet to be revealed. I am active within your life. Rest in me and do not allow discouragement to affect you. My love for you is ever-growing. It reveals itself as you allow me to work. Replace what you don’t see with my assurance. My words will come to pass. They never fail. There is nothing I have shown you that I will not perform. Let the water of my living word refresh you.
