what’s your expectation?

It was brought to mind this evening as I was walking the dogs. I'd seen it many times in them, but never verbalized it. I suspect it has direct application to our Christian walk. "When you're looking for squirrels, every movement or sound is a squirrel." How often do we walk through life and not actively look for God? We are not likely to find or recognize him in those times.

Your shepherd's rod and staff protect me. ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭23‬:‭1‬-‭4‬ ‭(GNT)‬‬ You are to walk to the bridge of decision. It is up to you if you decide to cross over or not. The other side has its new challenges, from me to help in your development and those from the enemy. Continue your walk in me. I will place you where you should grow in me. Recognize me. Learn to know when I am leading you.

This is a day for remembering, for looking back on your past. Those dates and anniversaries which enriched your life. Those times I reached in and brought safety. Thinking back and reaching forward.. Plans completing and those beginning to open. My hand has been upon you and those events. Now look ahead. Find the signs and clues I’ve planted for you. You are to walk boldly and secure with me.
