Allow Me

Don’t fearful in the darkness of night, nor allow
the nightmares disturb your waking moments.
Come and sit with me. Allow my Spirit to comfort
your sore areas. Turn to me so I can bring
what you need.

Don’t allow anger to guide your emotions,
but sit with me. Allow me to release what
is needed. Give me your fear and allow
my wings to close over you, shielding you
from the enemy.

I am ever-present. I have no condemnation,
but release my Spirit of direction and peace.
Allow me into the corners of your life. Allow
me to be what is needed.

Do not be discouraged. I am with you. Yes, I am working within you, despite what you don’t see or sense. I am with you. Drink-in the water I offer. Apply the balm of my peace to your restlessness. My words bring encouragement. Let them soak into your life. My ways bring wholeness, for now and in the time yet to be revealed. I am active within your life. Rest in me and do not allow discouragement to affect you. My love for you is ever-growing. It reveals itself as you allow me to work. Replace what you don’t see with my assurance. My words will come to pass. They never fail. There is nothing I have shown you that I will not perform. Let the water of my living word refresh you.
